Lotor couldn't help but smile that Gabe used the nickname he'd told him. "Of course I did. How else would I make sure that you didn't escape?" He was going to pretend earlier hadn't happened. "Not that reckless, safer than letting you run off and get yourself killed." He shook his head a bit, "You really should just leave the company alone. Pretty soon their not going to turn a blind eye anymore. You keep this up, they'll kill you, or worse." His face darkened, "i've seen the results of their experiments, it's not pretty." He turned away, "Come, i'm hungry." He walked into the kitchen, but had an odd feeling that Gabe was avoiding his gaze. Usually the man met his eyes, but he wasn't at the moment. He got into the kitchen and started taking out what he needed for a steak dinner. He had a sinking feeling that Gabe had seen him without clothing. There was one way to find out. "Did you enjoy watching me shower?" he asked, turning to look at the human. His face said it all. "Maybe not watching me shower, but you saw." His jaw tightened and he turned away, going back to preparing their meal. "I'm sure you have questions. Ask." A part of him felt sick that Gabe would be disgusted by the marks. He wasn't sure why, but he couldn't stand it if the first person to see him undressed since he'd been stranded here rejected him. Especially Gabe.

GabrielGabriel frowned and huffed a bit… if either of them could get out… that wasn’t true though… Lotor could get out… somehow… He frowned, anger at Lotor at the mention of the company. “If you have see the results of their experiments than you know I can’t just drop it. People are getting hurt! I’m a cop. Its my job to protect and serve and bringing that company down with help safe possibly millions.” He growled. Why couldn’t Lotor understand that? If he truly saw how awful that company was, why was he so against bringing it down? Gabriel turned when he heard footsteps walking away and sighed. He followed the male, arms crossed across his chest. They entered the kitchen, and Gabriel looked at everything else, expect for Lotor as he started to cook. He was trying to come up with some witty banter to keep Lotor talking and occupied. But Lotor must have sensed his reluctance, and asked the one question Gabriel had prayed would never be asked. Frozen in fear, he looked at the male and couldn’t help but blush. Damn it! Lotor turned away from him, and Gabriel took the moment to stare at his back, remembering the vivid lines that scared his beautiful purple skin. He felt so guilty, for looking for getting caught… it was like reading someone’s dairy and getting caught. He sighed softly, still staring at Lotor’s back. Yes, he had questions… but they were personal… he wasn’t sure Lotor would want to talk about them… “What happened? How?” he spotted himself. “I’m sorry Tori… I shouldn’t have… invaded your privacy… you don’t have to tell me anything…” he hoped the sincerity was clear in his tone. But Lotor wasn’t looking at him. He sighed softly.

Lotor sighed as he placed the two ribeyes onto the screaming hot pan, "I wasn't well liked on my planet." He really didn't want to talk about this, to tear open old wounds, but he wanted...no, needed to answer Gabe as honestly as he could. "I didn't exactly follow the norm, in fact I actively fought against it. I was captured, punished, and sent off to space in a tin can to freeze, starve, or suffocate. I don't know how long i was in space, all I remember is it being dark-" he clenched his hand for a moment, "dark and cold." He forced himself to relax and flipped the steaks before they could burn. "when I regained consciousness I was here." That was the short and sweet of it at least. He started to cut up vegetables for a salad and got everything ready while the steaks finished. “I’ve been here ever since.” He honestly had no idea where he was in relation to his home planet, in fact, he had no idea where he was at all. This was an unfamiliar galaxy, even the equipment he’d salvaged from the ship he’d been held in couldn’t determine where they were. “It’s better here anyways.” He built the two plates and handed one to Gabe, finally turning to face him and giving him a small smile, “Not exactly fun dinner talk. Let’s speak of happier things. He sat at the table and started to eat, “How about you? What’s your past? Any scorned lovers I should be aware of while I’m keeping you alive?”

GabrielGabriel didn’t expect Lotor to explain. He had no right to know. But Lotor started to speak anyways. And the story made Gabriel frown. Essentially Lotor was tortured… then sent adrift to die. That was horrible. And Gabriel found himself reaching out towards the male. “That’s horrible Tori… I’m-I’m so sorry…” he didn’t know what else to say. And he was sure his sympathies were of no comfort to Lotor. This new information just made Gabriel want to ask more questions… questions he knew Lotor wouldn’t want to answer, of obviously he wasn’t going to ask them… Lotor didn’t own him anything, and Gabriel had no right to ask about Lotor’s painful past. He was just about to put his hand on Lotor’s shoulder when the male spun around with plates already made. Gabriel took his plate, looking down at it for a moment before he followed Lotor to the table. Lotor wanted a change of subject… Gabriel could do that. He tried to smile at Lotor. “Yes, scorned lovers is a much happier topic to talk about over dinner.” He tried to tease, but felt like his joke landed flat on his face. So he just shook his head and started to cut into his food. “No, not really. It’s hard to have meaningful relationships when I’m always working.” He said with a shrug. “It’s better that way… then no one gets hurt.” Took a bite of his steak and smiled. “This is delicious… wh-“ he stopped his question. No more questions… no more… he had already over stepped his boundaries. “I grew up with my mother in California. Dad went out to get a pack of cigs when I was 4 and never came home. So it was just me and my mother until I was 18.” He paused. Lotor had shared a particularly dark part of his history… it was only fair. “We were driving to my college. A drunk driver ran a red light and t-boned us. Mom died on impact. I was in the hospital for a couple of weeks.” He shrugged again, moving to eat some of his salad. “Been on my own ever since.” Man… they were horrible at dinner chats. Once they both finished eating, Gabriel did the dishes. “You cooked, so I do the dishes… Mom always said the cook isn’t allowed to clean up afterwards. Now get!” he playfully pushed the male out of the kitchen so he could finish cleaning up. Being underground gave a false interpretation of time. But Gabriel was tired. “I think I’m going to shower then head to bed.” He said, gesturing to the bathroom door. “Good night Tori.” He said softly before he slipped into the bathroom. He was careful to close the door the entire way. No need for repeats… even though Lotor probably deserved a freebie after what Gabriel had down. He stripped down and turned on the hot water. He didn’t shower long, just long enough to clean himself off and get the grim out of his hair. He redressed in his boxer briefs and undershirt… this is what he planned on sleeping in… but in case Lotor was still up, maybe he should put his pants on. He slipped his pants on, but didn’t buckle them. He opened the door a crack… the coast was clear. He quickly made his way to his bedroom and closed the door. Looking around, he was pleasantly surprised. It was sparse, but cute. He draped his pants and his shirt over a chair and pulled the sheets back on the bed. Turning off the light, he laid in bed and stared up at the ceiling. He had too much on his mind to fall asleep just yet…

Lotor wacthed Gabe sadly, "it's terrible to lose someone you love." he spoke from experience, "I am sorry for your loss." He placed his hand over his heart and bowed his head a little, a sign of sorrow and respect for his people. He was pleasantly surprised that Gabe wanted to do the dishes. "Thank you." He watched from the table as Gabe finished up, nodding a little when Gabe said he was tired. "It's pretty late. I will probably turn in as well." He went to the bedroom that didn't smell of Gabe, assuming the other had chosen the first room for himself. He stripped down to his underwear, less self-conscious about being seen now that Gabe already knew about his scars. He got in bed and fell asleep rather quickly, tired from building their hide out, the kidnapping and everything else. He knew it was a dream, but that didn't make it any less real. He was suspended from his wrists, hanging with his legs tied to either side of a bar, keeping them spread. Dark blue blood rolling down his back from the newest set of lashes. He could barely lift his head, but he trembled when the door opened. He slowly raised his gaze and started to sob. No-oh gods, please no. "Nelo!" He couldn't look away from those blank eyes as the head of his best friend and lover was dropped in front of him. His world shattered and he struggled against the bindings, his wrists and ankles bleeding even more as he rubbed them against the harsh ropes. "Nelo!" He heard his capture's dark laugh and began to shake. "Kill me. Please, just kill me." But he knew the man wouldn't do it. The sick b*****d enjoyed torturing him. He felt hands on his hips and screamed, "No! No, please, please!" Claws dug in as he was pulled backward, his nakedness exposed to the man behind him. "No!" Lotor woke with a scream, sitting upright as he shook in the aftermath of his nightmarish memory. "Gods-" he moaned as he curled in on himself. He had to look around the room and make sure he wasn't there in that dark hellhole, tied up like an animal to be tortured and raped at his capture's every whim. He couldn't stand the darkness, he had to have a light for moments like these.

GabrielGabriel was on the edges of sleep when he heard what sounded like a scream. He bolted up from his bed, immediately searching for his gun… which obviously wasn’t there. He heard the cry again and abandoned his search for his gun to go investigate. At some point in the process of making it to the hallway, he remembered when he was and what was going. Was… Was Lotor crying out in his sleep? He pressed his ear to the door and could hear the male whimpering on the outside. Lotor told him not to creep while he was sleeping… but this wasn’t creeping… Lotor sounded like he was having a nightmare. He heard the male cry out again and instinctually he opened the door and stepped inside. There was a light coming from the hallway, and he didn’t realize it was obstructing his features as he approached Lotor, who was curled in on himself, trembling. He rushed to the male’s side without even thinking. “Lotor?” He sat on the edge of the bed and touched Lotor’s shoulder, trying to see if he was awake. ((short sorry!))

The door opened and Lotor froze. Oh gods. oh gods, what if he was still there? What if this was just another of their tricks? He held very, very still. They had made the mistake of leaving him untied. It would be their last. When a hand grabbed his shoulder, Lotor grabbed the wrist and pulled. He flipped his tormentor onto the bed and grabbed him by the throat. He growled, fangs out, as his sharp claws pricked at the neck he was holding...but it was too small. The neck, the body below him. It was smaller than a galra... He blinked and stared as Gabe's face came into focus. "Oh-" he let go and backed away, "Oh gorsnit, Gabriel. I'm so sorry. Did I hurt you?" He didn't want to touch the man, scared that Gabe would hate him now. Why had he come to Lotor's room? Lotor had told him not to come near-but he'd been awake. Oh, this was his fault. "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to. I never would hurt you."

GabrielThe next few seconds happened all too quickly. First he was sitting next to Lotor, gently shaking his shoulder, the next he was flipped onto the bed, pinned below Lotor, hand on his throat. He knew that Lotor was quick, but he had been expecting that… though he probably should have. His hands grabbed Lotor’s wrist, trying to pry him off. But Lotor was too strong. Sharp nails pricked at Gabe’s tender neck and he hissed… well tried to hissed… it came out as more of a strangle gurgle. Luckily Lotor realized rather quickly who he was and released him. He took a deep strangled breath, coughing as his own hands went to his throat. Damn, Lotor was really holding back that last time they sparred… stupid alien strength. He put his hand up, shaking it as he regained his breath enough to talk. “I’m fine… I’m fine.” He sat up, one hand still on his throat… it was probably going to bruise tomorrow. “Lotor… Tori, it’s alright. It’s my fault… you were crying out in your sleep.” He said he reached out for the male. He took the male’s hand and held it tight. “I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have entered your room but…” he wheezed a bit. “You are way too strong… it’s not fair, you know that right.” He said in all seriousness, but to him it was just a tad bit funny. He cleared his throat and tightened his grip on Lotor’s hand. “Are you alright? You were having a nightmare?” he asked, but he knew the answer… Lotor probably wasn’t alright and yes he was having a nightmare… and it was probably Gabriel’s fault, bring up bad memories… and he knew the male wouldn’t want to talk about it, so he didn’t ask.

Lotor felt guilty, even if Gabe said it wasn't his fault. "I'm sorry. Usually my nightmares aren't so...vivid." He shivered a little and tried to push away his memories. Oddly enough, Gabe's tight hold on his hand was helping to ground him more than anything. "It's ok, you were just trying to help. I'm the messed up one." He gave Gabe's hand a little squeeze back, "You hoomans are so fragile. I have to be more careful from now on." He slid closer on the bed and examined the damage to Gabe's throat. "Could be worse, just little scratches and I didn't crush your windpipe. I have some salve that will help with the bruising...at least it works on me, but your physiology isn't that much different and i made it using plants from your world, so really, it should be fine." He made sure to keep a hold of Gabe's hand and reached into his bedside drawer. "Here, I can rub it on or you can if you want." He held it out shyly, "you don't have to, of course." He placed it on the bed next to them and sighed, looking at their hands. "You should get some rest. I'm sorry I woke you." He reluctantly let go, wanting nothing more than to just keep hold of Gabe's hand. He hadn't been close to anyone since-well, since he'd come to this planet. It felt nice to be touched again. He swallowed, "Actually-" he couldn't believe he was asking this, "would you be willing to stay? I, I don't mean in a sexual way, but just, share the bed with me? I'll stay on the far side, I promise, and I won't touch you, but...I don't want to be alone." He was being weak in front of this human, someone he'd kidnapped over and over, but somehow it felt ok. He felt...safe.

GabrielLotor sounded so fragile right now, obviously still shaken by his nightmares and guilty. Gabriel gave a small smile when Lotor squeezed his hand. And he shifted a bit closer, tilting his head so Lotor could see his neck easier in the light. Despite what just happened, he wasn’t afraid of Lotor. He knew Lotor would hurt him on purpose… he trusted Lotor. Wow, that was a surprising thought. At what point did he start trusting his kidnapper? Gabriel kept his grip on Lotor’s hand as he leaned over to get the salve that was located in a draw by his bedside table. Touching his throat gently as Lotor pulled out the salve, he realized it would be a bit difficult for him to apply it unless he went to the bathroom and used the mirror… and he didn’t want to leave Lotor still shaken as he was… “Can you apply it for me?” he asked gently. Lotor didn’t seem to hate Gabriel touching him, so surely touching him to apply the salve wouldn’t be too much right? Usually, when he had nightmares, he didn’t want to go back to sleep… because he would be alone in his own head. If Lotor was thinking the same thing… then maybe Gabriel could make it so that Lotor wasn’t alone. But Lotor pulled his hand away, apologizing again and Gabriel was left feeling cold. But he understood if the male wanted to be alone… maybe Lotor handled his fear differently… Gabriel was staring at the container of salve, getting ready to get up and head out. He could apply this stuff in the bathroom… hopefully it would prevent a bruise from forming, or at least lessen its extent. He didn’t want to return to the station from a kidnapping with an obvious bruise… Lotor would get charged with assaulting an officer and Gabriel didn’t want that to happen. Gabriel looked up when Lotor nervously started to speak again. Oh… Lotor sounded so… Gabriel heart panged at the pain in Lotor’s voice. He nodded, “Ya, I can do that.” He said reaching for Lotor’s hand again. He set the salve in his palm and scooted a bit closer so Lotor would have better access to his throat. He hoped he was showing Lotor was he wasn’t afraid of him, even after… that. He wanted Lotor to know it was all alright. Gabriel closed his eyes when he first felt the cold salve being applied by gentle fingers. Luckily the salve absorbed well, and the small knicks from Lotor’s claws were small. Once that was done, the container was set back on the bedside table. “Thank you.” He said softly, lifting a hand to touch his neck again. It wasn’t sticky when it was dry, so he didn’t have to worry about getting it on Lotor’s pillow. “Do you want the inside or the side by the door?” he asked. Normally, Gabriel liked to sleep by the door… it gave him the best reaction time to grab his gun and shoot if someone broke in. but Gabriel worried Lotor would feel cornered being on the far side of the bed, near the wall. Once they got their sleep arrangements made, Gabriel took his spot and laid down, turned in to face Lotor, whose back was towards him. He knew the male said he’d sleep far away, not touch him… but remembering how strongly Lotor held onto his hand, like it was a lifeline that was saving him from drowning… maybe Lotor wouldn’t mind a simple touch? He carefully reached over and placed his hand on Lotor’s shoulder, sliding it down to juncture of his shoulder and neck. “Is this alright?” he asked softly, fully ready to move his hand it Lotor asked him to… He just wanted Lotor to know he wasn’t alone.

Lotor smiled when Gabe allowed him to put the pointment on his neck. He was careful as he rubbed it in, not wanting to harm the human further. He put the salve away and looked into those soft eyes. Human eyes were so strange being white, but he thought Gabe's was beautiful. He was more than a little shocked that Gabe agreed to stay the night. He was grateful he wouldn't have to be alone. "If it is ok, can i sleep closer to the wall?" He wanted to be as far from the door as possible. It was silly, but having Gabe between himself and the door made his feel safer. They laid down and he made sure to stay on the far side of the bed, his back to Gabriel to show he really did mean he wasn't going to touch him. Lotor closed his eyes and breathed deeply, willing himself to calm down and sleep when a warm hand touched the juncture between his neck and shoulder. Lotor shivered and his body relaxed into the bed. "Yes," he murmured, "More than ok." The touch was close to one shared by his own people. It was a sign of affection and promise. A promise to have the back of the person and stand by their side, no matter what. It released some tension he didn't know he had been holding between his shoulders. He rolled over and moved closer to the human. His arms wrapped around Gabe and he hid his head under the other's chin, "Is this ok?" he asked, uncertain.

GabrielLotor was smiling! It was a small smile, but Gabriel took that as a success. It made him smile too, softly, as Lotor applied the slave gently. Funny how someone so strong, someone who could throw him across the room with one hand, could also be so gentle when he wanted to be. He wondered if Lotor had to actually concentrate to be this gentle… he was a weak hooman after all. The way he copied Lotor’s pronunciation of human in his head made him smile again. Seriously, he needed to ask if Lotor did that on purpose. But not now… maybe later. Gabriel was more than happy to take the space closest to the door, even though he knew he had no weapon to go for… And it wasn't like anyone could get in to their little hideout... He took his space settled and touched Lotor, waiting for a moment for the male to respond. But he could practically see the tension ease out of his shoulders at the comforting touch. Gabriel smiled when Lotor confirmed that his touch was welcomed. Gabriel closed his eyes, ready to try and sleep again. But he was surprised when Lotor turned over and shifted in closer to him. He laid frozen for a moment, his hand hovering slightly above Lotor’s body as the male settled in, tucked under his chin. Gabriel lived alone, and rarely had partners stay the night, so cuddling wasn’t something he was practiced in. but Lotor had managed to snuggle himself perfectly into Gabriel’s body… seriously, it wasn’t fair how this big brute could just fit perfectly against him. His arm settled against Lotor’s body, wrapping around him slightly, keeping him close as his own body relaxed. One arm under Lotor’s head curled and he buried his hand in the male’s hair, a comforting gesture. “Ya, this is fine.” He mumbled softly into Lotor’s hair. Gabe fell asleep surrounded by Lotor, his warmth, his smell, both of which were extremely calming. It was probably the best night’s rest he had had in a while. Like sleeping in a warm cocoon...

Lotor smiled from his hidden spot and gave Gabe's neck a small kiss, "Thank you." He murmured before settling in. Sleep came suprisingly easy to him considering his earlier nightmare, and he slept dreamlessly which was rare. He was warm and safe, his body relaxed like it hadn't in years. He woke in the morning and didn't want to leave the warmth of his bed partner. He was confused for a moment before Gabe's smell reminded him of who was holding on to him. In the night they had changed places a bit. Lotor was on his back and Gabe had drifted to sleep practically on him. Lotor had his arms around the human, holding him in place as they rested against each other. Unfortunately his body was having a hard time seeing this as just cuddling. Gabe smelled so good-Lotor buried his nose in the human's hair and felt his not so little problem get worse. He needed to see if he could sneak to the bathroom before his condition woke the sleeping human. ((pms soon? XD))

GabrielGabriel however did not sleep dreamlessly. He dreamed of Lotor, and his dreams were not very appropriate. They started off innocent enough, and they were mostly a twist of his memories. Lotor walking towards him with the predatory gaze, pinning him up against a wall, hand on his cheek…. Saying his name with that silk like voice of his… the small kiss on his neck before bed morphed into something a bit more heated… and there was no escape… not that he wanted an escape… His dreams started to fade however when the warm pillow he was cuddling started to move. Now that wouldn’t do. He held on a bit tighter , groaning softly as forced his eyes open. Why was a pillow moving in the first place? It took him a moment to realize it wasn’t a pillow, it was a person… Lotor to be exact. Wait, was he still dreaming? No, no… he had slept in Lotor’s bed last night. He groaned and hid his face in Lotor’s shoulder. “Is it morning already?” he asked softly and groggily, still too asleep to be embarrassed that he was practically pinning the male to the bed, too asleep to try and hide his own little problem, generated by a combo of both awaking up and his dreams. ((Yes!))
