Comments: Honestly I like this idea, but I'm not even sure if mine constitutes as cubism??? I'm not particularly great at this. I really like the sketchier cubism drawings I saw, so I hope this looks okay sweatdrop It was a nice change of pace to draw in a style I'm not entirely comfortable or familiar with.

Theme: Circus/Flying machine



Comments: I actually had this idea as soon as I saw the themes, but I was so sure I wasn't going to have time to figure it out so I was going to use a spirit pass, but I'm glad I did it.
I am feeling a bit unhappy with my line art. I've really got to work on it. Honestly I get pretty down on myself over my art.

Comments: Sooooooo, I hope this one counts. This is one of my favorite characters from Tokyo Ghoul. When I saw Tokyo as one of the themes, it was the first thing I thought of sweatdrop

Comments:THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THIS DIFFICULT TO DRAW!! Popplio is seriously just a bunch of ovals
I also took a super long time doing all of the excessive shading in hopes to really make it look comic book-esque, while still retaining the pokemon vibe. I think I did a pretty good job to be honest. It was also pretty scary because steady lineart/bold shading are two of my biggest weaknesses so I tried to take extra care with it. I still have room for improvement, but I'd say this was a good exercise.

Theme: Shark/fishnet/mirror



Comments: The first thing that came to mind when I read the themes was a shark wearing fishnets admiring itself in a mirror. I really tried hard to do the mirror without copy/pasting the original picture. Although I ended up flipping the canvas I'd say I think I did a decent job. Reflection is always something I've had an issue with. I also did a simple background because I struggle with those. I've also been trying my best to have less shaky line art. I need to start coloring these pieces as well. . .one step at a time.

Theme: Monster repellent/hero/parrot/insanity



Comments: CUTTING IT WAY CLOSE OMG

I got home around 11:10, and then had to get my little girl to bed, and then try to think of something to doodle rofl
I was gonna just doodle a picture of hercules, and call it a night, but my brain said "nahhhhh let's make it this picture with all the things!)

Also, my eyeball monster has made a reprise blaugh

Comments: Ferngully is another one of my childhood favorites! I'm so happy with how batty turned out, but omg I'm about to cry over Chrysta's feet rofl

Image 1 Comments:ehhhhhh I'm not sure this is abstract?? I gave it my best shot, and I'd like to try abstract again in the future, I just have no experience with it. I'm also working on a second piece just in case this doesn't count. Overall I'm just really not satisfied with this piece.

Image 2 Comments: This is the other piece I did for today. I'm really satisfied with how the hands turned out (It's been quite a while since I've done realistic style hands, and I was really worried about how they were going to turn out. I don't know why, but when I started this doodle around midnight last night I thought it would be the most hilarious thing if a pancham had human hands due to a botched "evolution" stage and was just absolutely horrified by them. rofl
Also as a side note PANCHAM IS WAY TOO DIFFICULT TO DRAW!
Pokemon why are you so simple, but so difficult?!

Theme: Rabbit(ish)



Comments:
Soooo I actually don't like rabbits, they make me uncomfortable, and when I see them in real life they really upset and scare me. One of the reasons for this might be these things from the dark crystal (which look sorta like some weird catfish/rabbit/elephant/salvador dali amalgamation. It may be a bit of a stretch, and may not even count, but I thought they were rabbit like enough sweatdrop Also this is a work in progress I may have gotten a bit in over my head gonk
I try really hard to always finish my art, but I am thinking I'll try to finish this on a improve/finish art day (there's one coming up blaugh )

Comments: This took me quite a while. It was between this or making a thumbellina genderbend. However, there's already tom thumb, so I decided to do this. Prince Kaguya looked upon the moon with great despair each night it was full, and yet he did not know why.

Comments:I wasn't really feeling any of the themes, and I was going to redraw something, but then decided not to, I'll just wait for the re-draw challenge I suppose. Also, I tried REALLY hard to get some clean line art. I failed at the hands, but I think other than that it looks good.
