Eirian's smile turned bright and honest. "Sure, sounds good. Tell them I wish them luck with the transfer. Maybe when we meet up again I'll have some sketches to show you." Eirian couldn't help but notice Sally looked a bit self-conscious. "Thank you, I really appreciate that. If there's anything I can do during this to make you feel more comfortable, let me know. I want this to be fun, okay?"
They sighed wistfully as they thought back to Sally's friend. "I can't wait to go to college. It'll be great to finally focus on art and fashion at Grendel rather than all these core classes." Eirian didn't hate all the classes the Academy forced on the students, but there were some that they were definitely eager to leave behind.
"Speaking of which, I don't think I've asked you what your future hopes are," Eirian said. They looked at Sally but couldn't decide what her plans could possibly be. "Do you plan to stay down here for college or...?" They realized there were probably a lot of options and didn't want to have to list them all. Eirian also realized they secretly hoped Sally would be staying in Below.
Shaddaling
Here I was thinking we could probably end this/wrap it up but then Eirian was all "no, wait!" - lol
btw, sorry if Sally has mentioned her future. Their meeting at the masquerade is gone (hidden or deleted) so I couldn't look it up.
