Hearing several voices Rarity concluded that yes, they were in the palace and possibly the throne room. It was the main room to solve any problems with citizens and at any rate Rarity was positive she heard someone say she should be killed. She tried not to panic; she was queen of melodrama but she didn’t think being melodramatic in a place where it was possible for her to be killed was a good idea. Her magical abilities were also extremely limited compared to Twilight’s, so that was out of the question.

She heard Rialos speaking; it sounded like he was trying to defend her and testify her innocence. Well, Rarity was quite happy that Rialos was a good friend and was trying to save her. She smiled a little to herself, although she was sad he had tricked her. Then, a voice that obviously belonged to either the king or one of Rialos’s older brothers rang out authoritatively, and she heard Solair. Solair? Who was that? Possibly one of the princes? But the voice sounded like it was addressing Rialos; at least it was directed in his direction. It wasn’t like she could see, and the face cover muffled a bit of the noises around her.

Speaking of the cover, it was gently removed and she came face to face with... “Rialos?” She gasped. And then realized that while yes, the male in front of her looked very much like Rialos, it wasn’t him. “Oh, oh my, no, I’m so sorry, I mistook you for—“ The male was surprisingly more flirtatious than she was used to. Rarity wasn’t used to dealing with males who had such charm, so she found herself tongue-tied. Deciding to ignore the guy-who-looked-like-Rialos, she quickly took in her surroundings. And as she had guessed, they were indeed in the palace. Well, the good part was that it was where she and Rialos had been planning to go, just not in quite such a way.

She finally spotted Rialos and could only stare in shock. There was another male who looked just like Rialos, only he shared the same cyan hair color as the male who had taken her paw. She blinked once, twice, and decided that no, she wasn’t dreaming. Rarity was surrounded by handsome—beautiful!?—males. She took a deep breath and looked at the male in front of her. “As much as I appreciate your gestures of... kindness...” Rarity glared at the guards, “...I would like to express my displeasure at this, darling, because I most certainly will not stay confined here!”

She looked back over at Rialos. “Did he just call you Solair, darling?” And she assumed it was one of his brothers hugging him, of course, but it was just these two brothers. And like Solair, both of them were sexy specimens that, given a different situation, she’d be flirting like crazy with.

However.

This was obviously a life-and-imprisonment or death-no-freedom situation. She mentally despaired. Where were her friends when she needed them most? She looked back at the brother who was still holding her paw. “I refuse to stay here, darling. I’m innocent. I had no idea he was your brother, and I certainly didn’t mean to kidnap him! I just happened to come here, you see, and goodness me, I have to compliment your bazaar, it’s quite wonderful! But I must insist that I did not kidnap your brother!” She tried to keep calm. She made no attempt to run, just hoping they would simply let her go.

Solair's brother, the pale one, indeed was displeased by her. Ankine, the princess of the waterfalls had trapped their limbo stated brother for so long, which was why they couldn't bring him back. His spirit was elsewhere. For that, his brother stayed wary of all females.. and the more innocent, the more wary he was. After his brother's ordeal, he stopped going to arranged marriage prospects altogether. Traumatized. He began to fix up Solair's hair and finally grabbed his cheeks. "Don't scare me like that little brother. Ever. Again." Petting him softly before going to his closer twin the darker toned version of himself.

"You invite... so willingly to our dinner?" He crossed his arms and looked judgemental and displeased with his twin's decision.

"She is an honored guest..." Then he heard her say Rialos more than one time, which confused him quite a bit. Then looking to Solair's direction. He sighed. He really DIDNT want to be found. Which made the older brother exhale with disappointment of how little he thought of the rest of the family, how they suffered in wait for him to wake. What she called him, then to say she will NOT be staying. Didn't sit well.

"You know.. for someone I spared their life, you are rather snappy." He let go of her and crossed his arms. Both twins looking at her, examining her words, her gestures and everything about her.

Solair moved by her and held her hand. "Yes, Rialos, spelled backwards, Solair. My true name." He looked disappointed and away from her just a tad, looked back up at his brothers. "See... she is simply a passersby- forgeiner.."

"Where is your earring, brother?"

"Ah.." He smiled nervously. "I must have lost it during the scuffle."

"Hm." His older brothers said at the same time, and both looked disappointed, they knew he was lying.

They also knew, that she didn't seem to be lying. "Then why do you wish to leave so soon if you have done nothing wrong? Are you not telling us the whole story? Do you have something to hide? Are you a danger to our kingdom?" The pale cyan brother commented.

Solair squeezed her hand, and looked at her with pleading eyes... She was not making this easier, and she was offending them at a rapid rate.
"No, she isn't. She is... overwhelmed. You guys are overwhelming.... " Solair held her close to him, being protective. "I caused her enough trouble, so please, just let her go." Solair was softer spoken, and seemed a lot more protective in the way he spoke now to show them.

Both brothers looked at each other. The more strict one sighed. "I was simply trying to get the full story brother... We can't have another incident again. We are wary." The way he held her, they both knew that if they pressed further, it would only drift their younger brother away.

"She is rude, and I don't approve. Don't come later to say she is a prospect, for I will most likely deny it. So will { Insert dark boy's name here }."

"{Insert pale one's name here}, Why would you bring something up like that!" Solair blushed heavily.

"Because you are well past the age, and urgently need to begin the dance of prospects. You are lucky father is away... but likewise, I doubt he'd agree for her to be a prospect."

"Urrh!" He picked up Rarity in his arms, cradling her. "And if she was- I wouldn't need approval from you!"

Then bowed his head to them, and walked away with Rarity. How could they be so insenstive! Walking her to the palace's gates, which showed a beyond breath taking view of the kingdom below them.

Setting her down, and bowing his head to her. "I'm...so...just so sorry... For everything- them- me- tackling to ground- Please... forgive me." His head was low in the bow, utterly ashamed at the whirlwind of events.

Rarity looked from one brother to the next. They were talking over her as if she wasn't even in the same room as they were. Okay, so she had definitely overreacted just a tad wee bit. When the dark-looking twin dropped her paw and crossed his arms, Rarity tried to hide her nervous gulp. She was about to comment, mostly an apology, but then Solair came over and took over holding her paw. Rarity felt a brief sense of comfort and safety. "Oh, my. Well, it's... it's nice to meet you officially, Prince Solair, Your Highness," she stammered. Her bravado was fading rather quickly under the withering looks Solair's brothers were giving her.

With Solair's paw in hers, Rarity straightened to respond to the brothers' questions. "Your Highnesses," she began, trying to change her tone to a much more dignified and polite one. Before she could continue, Solair began answering in her stead, and Rarity couldn't help but to frown a little at the white prince. All three brothers were apparently ignoring her because of her outburst. She sighed to herself. Okay, her outburst wasn't exactly making things easier. She might as well compromise.

She cleared her throat to get all of the boys's attention. "Your Highnesses," she began again, "my greatest apologies for my rudeness. Darlings, I'm not trying to run away because I'm hiding something." She looked at the lighter colored twin and raised an eyebrow. She wasn't going to be cowed, but she would at least try to be dignified for Solair's peace of mind. "I heard that I was to be killed, so I'm sorry, but I was rather frantic to escape before my head left my body. I can also assure you that I'm no danger to your kingdom."

Rarity pondered for a moment, and then decided the truth was better than nothing. If they didn't believe her, there wasn't anything more she could do. "Prince Solair, thank you very much for defending my honor," she squeezed his paw in reassurance, "but Your Highnesses, I am but a simple seamstress from my homelands. I am also one of the major guardians of my homelands; however, I have been away for a long time, so..." She trailed off. Should she reveal her secrets so readily?

Well, Solair had certainly apologized and revealed his secret, so she might as well continue the honor. "I am known as the Generous One of the guardians back in my homelands," she said, trying to think of a better way to describe her role. "I don't mean to brag, but I'm not one to accept generosity so much as give it." And then Solair picked her up and hugged her--no, he cradled her. Rarity found herself turned pink from embarrassment moreso from Solair's hug than from his brother's declaration of a mating prospect.

Before she could ask for an explanation, however, Solair was walking her to the front doors and out to the gates. Rarity sighed happily at the view and turned that smile at Solair. "Your Highness, I forgave you when you defended me. You tried to protect me, darling." She looked at the palace gates and then back at Solair. "I don't want you in trouble, darling. I know I protested, but I'll stay, for your sake. Besides..." Her stomach rumbled and her pink color returned to her face, "...your dear brother offered food..."

Rarity hugged Solair while she had the chance because she doubted she'd be able to touch him again. "Prince... Solair," she said softly, "Thank you, darling. I've had a wonderful adventure. But you needn't stand up for me!" She let go of him. "You didn't even let me finish talking to your brothers!" she scolded. "Come now, we have to make amends. In fact, I shall make clothes for your brothers as an apology! That will be my best way to say sorry, and we can get to know each other! I am your friend after all!" she declared. "I won't abandon you, and I will prove my honesty, otherwise, my friends back home will be quite angry that I didn't show proof that I'm who I say I am!"

Sol rose from his bow, to completely absorb in to her words. He felt like she should have been more scolded by her, the fact that his brothers were...over bearing and the whole kidnapping. She was kind though, and the fact that she was trying to defend herself, trying to make things right after it went wrong. Something calming was felt and he relaxed from being so tense. In reality, when she did forgive him, he sighed with relief. Then the leaf turned, and she was thanking him. He was, speechless when she hugged him. His cheeks burned instantly. It wasn't every day that he was hugged from someone that wasn't his bloodline.

But this hug, was different and wonderful. "My brothers were... going to go off on a subject that I believe did not respect you. I might have just met you, but..." When he came back from the beyond, he could 'feel' things... and the feeling she gave off was wonderful. "I think you are a good ulaya." He smiled and he seemed to glow with happiness. But then she moved back, and he felt.. instantly colder.

"You are going to make them clothes!?" He gasped. "They... disrespected you." He looked at her, with a frown but the prospect of having a 'friend' around, that made Solair smile yet again. Abundantly happy.. he closed the gap between them and hugged her warmly. "I am glad that you are staying... and I get to spend more time with you." Petting her head, and the feeling of her hair under his hand.. "There are lots of fabrics here.. We have a steamstress too.. but they are. Um...Not you." He smiled down at her then gave her some room. "Fine. We will go back, you can beg for forgiveness for something you didn't do." He shrugged and turned to lead her, offering her a paw to guide her.

"I know how my brothers can be, when it comes to them, I can protect you. Heck, I need to protect myself from them sometimes." Cuuing at her in a matter of fact.

"They are probably eating.... I can get you something to eat and take it to the fabrics room.. or you can come eat with us. I'll be honored if you joined me." Then his stomached growled and he could hear it turning. "Nyyaa!!!" He whimpered. A servant that was most beautiful came to Solair's whine.

"Prince Solair.. I was wondering, should I arrange your room now."
"Please also arrange another of the guest rooms."

Giving her a nod then he showed her two different paths. "Food or Fabrics room? Miss Rarity~?"

Solair kept making her want to smile, but Rarity couldn't figure out why. She was always smiling, though, so she took it as she was thinking of Solair as a dear friend, especially because he defended her. "Why thank you, Your Highness Solair!" Rarity was happy that he thought so well of her. She looked up at him, since he was quite a bit taller than her. Her mind whirled with possibilities as she tried to sketch in her mind what clothes would match and bring out the brilliance that was Solair.

He was positively glowing! She flipped her hair in a mock haughty manner. "Well, I suppose it's because I disrespected them first, in a way. But, their guards are the ones who manhandled me first, so we're even," she laughed. And then Solair hugged her and she couldn't fight the blush. She had a strong feeling Solair didn't realize or even understand how much his touch was affecting her, so she simply returned his hug. "Oh, the more help, the better, darling!" She giggled merrily.

She was used to producing several clothes by herself, but she knew that with how these princes all were, and specifically how royalty all were, she would need every bit of help she could get. "Yes, darling, let us go back so I can apologize for my earlier rudeness, not for being a kidnapper," she corrected in a teasing tone. She took Solair's paw as a gesture of thanks, waiting for him to take the lead.

She felt warm and fluffy when Solair offered to protect her if his brothers became too much. "Oh, darling, you're so sweet! But I promise you I can take care of myself!" She grinned shyly at him. "Well, if you want to protect me, I won't say no." Her stomach rumbled at the same time as Solair's and her warm blush turned into a red-hot embarrassed face. When Solair let loose the most adorable whine she'd ever heard, Rarity found herself wondering if she should cuddle and hug Solair silly.

Fighting her instinct, she perked up when she saw Solair's servant. Stomach rumbling once again, she responded in a prim manner, "Why, my darling prince, I would much prefer food before fabrics! One cannot work on an empty stomach, no matter who they are!" She laughed. Rarity silently vowed to protect Solair's smile. It was the most beautiful smile she'd ever seen, and she didn't want it to disappear.
