Ruulu Post 8
"I don't think that is wise, but you can visit anytime you like during daylight. We tend to keep pretty high security at night in case of the bug people and the merchants who may want their critters back. You never know. We hope to get the animals good homes as soon as possible."
It was exhausting but it was for the greater good and they would not need to take another job until spring which meant so much more training of the kinfa and their warriors. Maybe they would all earn their lance in the meantime.
"I see this as a great stepping point to my future. The future I want to build for my group. I like you so I'm going to trust you, but I see a flying battle unit. Extremely manueverable. It will be glorious."

Nin Post 9
Her Dad probably wouldn't have let her stay the whole night anyway. "I can't wait to come back tomorrow!" The sun had started to sink and she heard her father's whistle. "I have to go but thank you so much for showing me everything. I hope that your dream of a flying contingent come true it sounds like a great strategy."
She waved to the others and patted the white snaptrotter bravely on the snout. "I'll remember to find the yellow beetles your kinfa likes."
She had found a new purpose in life and it felt so good.

Ruulu felt that Nin would do great things with that passion she had lurking under the surface. Who knew maybe she would be part of their group one day. She hoped the girl got a snaptrotter after all a familiar was a girls best friend.
She was proud that her white snaptrotter charge hadn't eaten the little girl too. Not that he would have been able to with her there but he had let the little one pet him and well Ruulu felt a kind of pride that she had never felt before.
She had helped to get that girl excited about her work and with her help had made great progress with the snaptrotter. She couldn't wait to talk to Tsallin. She waved at the youngling.

Nin Post 10
Nin had a great big smile on her face as she jumped into her Father's arms and immediately started to tell him about all that she had learned.
"...and you know Daddy that snaptrotter just wanted to be in the pond..." She talked the whole way home and he was hard pressed to get her to sleep that night even with the prerequisite story reading.
Today had been a turning point for her and she would never forget it.

Ruulu put Angel away for the night and then helped the other's 'trotters away before taking Tsallin's hand to drag him off for a real chat.
She told him about her day and listened to the progress he had made with his two snaptrotters, one of which was the juvenile. It seemed like he was progressing well considering he was working with two of them during the day. Where she would work with a different one the next day. It was just their difference in training style. Seze didn't seem to think that any one way was better than the other so the group was able to choose their own paths during training.
She appreciated the freedom. Arron probably would have had a more structured approach which would have driven her crazy but only because it was his plan.
She had made a new friend today.
