Altais would take this mercy of Pyrophanite, as he pulled himself from the crumbling wall. Harmotome was given a sort of mock amusement as they moved away and Altais shook his head.
Blood was welling up and he would need to take care of it before it got serious. Or worst....Denebola found out that he got himself super injured just being out on patrol on himself.
Pyrophanite struggled though as blood slightly scented the air. He knew it was Altais's and his own. In one hand, he was trying to remove the mask, the other was digging painfully in his leg. His teeth gritted at his lips. His breathing was becoming harder and harder to do.
Harmotome wouldn't see it coming, the sudden lunge, the hand around her neck and the crazed look as his mask fell off. Blue eyes that belonged to the mischevious Pyro were gone. These were empty.
A strangled hiss growl escaped from him.
"Get away...." Pyro's only warning as he let her go, struggling to pull himself together. To not let snake have control. To be the one in charge of the shared body.

She didn't. He was more powerful, stronger, faster. The lieutenant gasped, but it was cut off into a choke as he had his hand on her neck. She stared into his face, and it just felt like she was suddenly dealing with someone who was not Pyrophanite. As he let her go, Harmotome stumbled a bit to regain her balance, and a hand briefly came to touch her throat before it lowered. It moved slightly behind her, to hide the fork she summoned from Negaspace. It wasn't much, but it was something. "Pyrophanite." She stated, not moving away. "It vould be irresponsible of me to leave you now, vhether you vere a superior officer or not." She tightened her grip on the form, and tensed. She wasn't sure what she could do exactly. Even if he didn't have the disciplined fighting skill, he was more than a match for her in pure raw power and speed, plus those youma abilities...

Pyro's body fell completely now to the ground, where he struggled to breathe against the monster that was raging inside him. It was like the first night he had fought when they merged. His body felt like it was splintering and breaking and the snake was slithering through the cracks.
His body arched on the ground painfully and he all but hissed out his pain. <********, ********, ********." Not here, please anything but here. His body rolled again and he was back on his feet, making his way towards Harmotome.
The gas escaping his mouth and a evil grin spreading over his face.
"We missssss our chance at a ssssenshi." Pyro's s's drawled much like a snake, which Hauyne would recognize if they were here. Harm though....
"But if I take your ssstarsssseed, I can hunt him down again and make it right." His hand reached for Harm's chest.

She didn't exactly understand what she was looking at, but she recognized the signs of a battle when she saw one. One that Pyrophanite was apparently losing. To what, though? The youma? He said they had merged, so that meant they should have been one, right? Yet as he struggled, it seemed more like two beings inhabiting the same space. No. Not inhabiting. Controlling. She didn't know what to do for him. If there was anything she could do. Seeing the gas start to spill from his mouth, and having been barked at by Pyrophanite about it not minutes earlier, it was a snap reaction that Harmotome pressed her free hand to cover her mouth and nose. Her other hand readied her back up. She whipped her arm out from behind her, and tried to stab her fork into the back of Pyro's hand as hard as she could.

The stab in the back of his hand made the general yowl in pain, drawing back the now bloodied limb and staring at it. The gas stopped emitting and instead there was obvious Pyrophanite back.
He looked at her with such disdain and annoyance.
"Goddamn it Harm, there is other ways to knock sense back in them STABBING them with your ******** fork." He held up his hand that was bleeding freely.
"Ow ow ow ow god, I need to disinfect it. I need to put bleach on it. Who knows where your forks been, don't answer that!" Pyro cradled his hand.
"Snake right?" As if he knew that something had been struggling with him.

Harmotome leapt back after the initial strike, just in case. She was ready to have another go at him with her fork if need be, but apparently she didn't need to. The lieutenant didn't immediately move, nor did she lower her stance as she leo-squinted at the captain. "Not vhen you are out sped and out powered and out teleported." She replied, and then snorted derisively. "Fork has only been in Negaspace. Not in my mouth." Especially not after what it just stabbed. "Oh In other people, too, ya." She relaxed her stance as he spoke about the snake (still held onto her fork, though) and slowly nodded. "Ya. It vas not you." Her brows furrowed. "You...do not control it alvays?"

"Sure it hasn't been in your mouth. Like you haven't thought about emergency summoning your fork when you don't have one to eat like pie or something." The bleeding started to clot and he just stared at the holes that now pierced the top of it.
"I bet there is senshi cooties on it." He scoffed and then stared at her, "Of course not, do I look like ******** houdini?" He stared at her hard an long. "Houdini is a magician by the way. I can't control it because he doesn't want to be controlled. That's not how half youma's work." At least he didn't think they worked that way.
"He was a big old school youma when we ended up like this, so he thinks he should be in charge but its my body so I'm in charge. Sometimes he wins, sometimes I do. Most the time I do." He waited, "Usually I do."
then quietly, "Except lately, it's been a lot harder."

"Nah. I eat with my hands." Since he was definitely seeming more like Pyro now, and in control of himself, most importantly, Harmotome let her fork return to Negaspace. "Hm---" Her brows furrowed. "Ya, most likely." Senshi cooties, that was. "Vho-vhat---Oh." A magician. Okay. "...Vhat vould a magician have to do with snakes? They usually have...ah...rabbits, ya?" The lieutenant listened with interest though, because it was fascinating, and because it was a lot more than Pyro had been willing to share the last time she had asked about it. She slowly nodded her head, because she didn't know how half-youma worked, either. "Ah. I see." A fist went to rest on her hip, while the other tucked under her chin in thought. "Think it vill be....better? If you are promoted? You vere fine until senshi vas knocked down."

Pyro didn't bother answering more of her questions till the end and then closed his eyes.
"I didn't want to kill him cause then Snake gets control and I won't know how to tear it back." That was as weak as it sounded but Pyro stood taller now and looked at her.
"We need to get back to negaspace anyways. So how about we just say this night sucked for me and you don't mention anything else. Got it?"

Harmotome stared at him, but as far as a reply to that, she didn't even try. What did one day to that? There was nothing. It was a grim acceptance that that was how things could have played out, but they didn't. For now. She 'hmph'ed, her fists dropping to her sides as she moved back to him so that he could take them back. She stopped before him, and reached up to press a finger into his chest. "I vill not say anything because you are lucky I like you." She informed him, pretty much as if she was doing him the biggest favor in the world.

"Aw gee thanks Kid, I'd blush if I didn't have scales." The idea that Harmotome liked him made him have a headache. Or was this whole night just a headache.
That probably meant...he was stuck...with...her.
"Alright, let's ditch this place, I think I hear the police coming." Sirens started off in the distance and he took the woman by the scruff of her jacket. "Hold on kitten." and with that, teleported them back to negaspace.
