He couldn't have said why he was doing this, especially since he had already been having so much trouble staying warm as it was, but when Driidi saw a group of people merrily chucking snowballs at each other, he knew that he had to join in. The Oban boy grabbed at the snow with his bare hands, hardly able to feel them by the time he had ten perfectly packed projectiles lined up in front of him. As it turned out, his aim wasn't all that bad, the problem was that everyone else kept moving. Yeah, that was it.
Although his more playful interactions with the stuff had lessened the older he got, Alek was still intimately familiar with snow. It was ever present in the far north, occasionally a curse, but today it would apparently be fun again, thanks to a gathering of earthlings bent on rendering themselves soggy and miserable. The boy formed his snowballs quickly and efficiently, launching them in the direction of his Sauti foes without looking much. Quantity over quality always won him games like this, and he wasn't about to change up his strategy now.
Aylin worked hastily to form a new army of snowballs, packing the surrounding snow together quickly. She laughed as most were thrown wildly this way and that- some even disintegrating into a pleasant puff of dazzling snow as they hit trees or rocks.

She was starting to really feel the cold now, the chill of the snowball fight creeping through her layers of clothing to bite into flesh. The snowballs were getting harder to form, her aim became more erratic, but still she laughed with her teammates. She may need to head inside soon though...
