His tail flicked as he stared at him. "Can you cook, Cassian? I'd love a home cooked meal.....ohhh." He lowered his head. "My daughter would kill me if I ate good food without her. She'd wonder why I wasn't eating takeout with her."
"....she'd know I cheated."

Cassian nodded. "Cooking is my thing," though it sounded like his offer was potentially not an option. Wait, what- "Do I need to plan a grocery run and to just drop in to cook for both of you? Easier to cook for three than just two." Though he was clearly imagining two Mauvians eating take out now.

"Hmmmm. I need to ask my daughter. She would need to feel safe in our home and hasn't met you. I wouldn't want to hurt your feeling of security in our house." He said, sniffing his cheek before rubbing his head against it.
"Can I set up a dinner date? For now, about that Mahi Mahi...."

"Hey, that sounds fine by me. I'd invite you to mine but well...my parents might think it odd I'm dining a cat," at least Charley would. He loved his mother, but she definitely was a little on the practical side of things.
"I'll still share my Mahi-Mahi. And I could uh...always walk you home with some leftovers for your sprout?" that was a good middle ground, right? Maybe?

"Perfect! I'll talk to my daughter about having you over. Between you and me, she needs to meet more people. I don't want her getting feral." He laughed before curling up.

"Sounds good. I'll swing past the house real quick to get you a pick-me-up and then I'll walk you home, Arthur. Then maybe we can plan for that dinner-date." Cassian nodded as he started off towards home.
Though if Dean was home, he'd probably have to fight him off of trying to hold 'the kitty'. But he'd figure it out when he got there. He'd figure out everything when he got there. It was the most eventful yet uneventful evening he'd had in a while.
