Pynar
Hmm, necklaces would be pretty neat for his sisters. They'd probably like them. "I think they'd like necklaces! Do you know how to make them? Because I dont..." He didn't think it would be too hard to figure out but you just never knew sometimes. Now, when Kai picked up the strange thing and stuck it on his head, he snorted as he tried to hold back a laugh, unsuccessfully though. He sobered up quickly, however, but a smile stayed on his face. "I don't think that's how it's supposed to work...though the creature doesn't seem to mind it all that much." It was weird for sure, but it cracked the serious demeanor the young boy had adopted.

Kaimana
Kaimana nodded, "Of course I do~!" The Matori laughed as he glanced back towards the youngling, "I have a sister as well and I enjoy doing things like that for her. I don't mind showing you how as long as you gather what you want in the necklaces on your own." He winked, "Would take out all the fun if I did everything for you." At Pynar's laughter Kaimana's expression lit up even more. It looked like the kid could laugh! I suppose I am doing something right then. He joked quietly to himself before removing the starfish to let it slip back into the waters, "You sure? I hear it's all the rage in town to wear one. Unless you'd rather wear one of those tentacle guys? I've had one of those attached to me before and took him all the way home before realizing." He joked before moving so that he could take a few steps into the shallow waters, "If you ever change your mind I can scoop back one and we'll both be super fancy looking for the next person we meet."
That stated Kaimana focused back on the waters and slowly let his fingers glide through the surface of the tidepool until he found a darker spot that he boldly submerged his arm into, "Let's see what we can find today..."

Pynar
Oh! So he understood then what it was like living with sisters! Sure Koril was around sometimes but his older siblings tended to be pretty busy. Py was glad to know that the other boy knew how to make necklaces so now he could make one! He started looking around for shells to use but ad kai started talking about using the creature with eight legs his eyes went wide. "I think I heard my sister talking about 'some guy with an octopus as a pet'. I think she might have meant you!" He laughed a little bit more until he started plunging his hand into a hole. "KAIMANA! That's not a good decision! Do you know what's down there? Something could hurt you!" He grabbed the older boys arm and pulled with all he could to get his hand and arm out of the hole in the water.

"Oh, really?" Kaimana blinked in surprise before laughing, "I suppose I must have made a good impact that day then." Especially if cute girls were talking about him! He smiled towards Pynar before his move to dig into the hole, "Hold on it's okay...." He replied before pulling his arm back to show Py, "A bit risky but out here it's usually okay minus a few crabs nicking my fingers here and there." He smiled before rotating his wrist and revealing the contents in his clenched fist, "Tadaa~" Some brightly colored seagrass along with a few tinier shells, mostly unbattered by the tides, were resting in his palm, "Maybe if we're lucky next time I'll actually get a critter." He teased lightly as he nudged the youngling, "Sometimes it doesn't hurt to be bold but you're right I'll try to look a bit more before diving in."

Pynar
Pynar continued to frown even after inspecting Kai's hand and wrist. It was unmarked but it still caused the young boy worry. Perhaps there was nothing bad in there this time but that didn't mean it was a full proof plan to be able to do it every time. At least, Py thought, he agreed he should be more careful. That seemed to be a step with this rather (in his opinion) reckless older boy. Once he saw what was in his hand, though, his frown faltered. "They're so pretty...but there's a problem. That's not nearly enough for one necklace...right? And i...I should make more than one since I have 3 sisters! I wouldn't want to make any of them mad at me or anything." He long would it actually take him to collect enough of these shells to have enough for 3 necklaces? His head fell slightly as he kicked his feet in the sand, unsure what he should do from here.
