Pulling down the blankets, he held them out for Oz to take. Proper coin this time? He couldn't help another light smirk. "Actually, your assistance last time was quite appreciated. Perhaps I should put you to use again? ..However, coin will also be appreciated by the clinic." The idea of returned labor was nice, but he might get frowned at again when such supplies had been used.
"Here. This way to my office." He checked the crewman over once more before they left, pleased to see the tremors had calmed down vastly on the poor man. Then he headed down the hall. At the office, he pushed in and gestured. "Find yourself a space. Do not touch my books. I will be returning in the morning to check on your man's condition. If you require anything until I return.." pursing his lips, he looked at Oz and shrugged, "perhaps try to wait until I return."

Taking the offered load, Ozzrick followed in the doctor’s footsteps, grunting at the reminder of what had been his repayment last time. He didn’t actually mind labor, even dirty labor though that was admittedly less pleasant it was nothing he couldn’t handle. In this case, however, he expected the practicality of paying back with coin would be better for everyone involved. He did hope to be out with the man in reasonably short order.
As they reached the section of space Tacrith identified as his office, Oz glanced, surveying before stepping in. “There certainly are plenty of books…to not touch,” he said. “Fortunately, they don’t look…” He squinted at a title — Sphenopalatine Ganglioneuralgia: A Collective Study — and decided it was not going to be difficult to resist, “…quite like my type of nightly light reading.”
Glancing back to the door and the doctor, he gave a bit of a nod. “I suppose I will see you come morning…”

Tac shook his head lightly. Nighttime reading indeed. These books were for studying! Well... maybe once or twice. Three times... Okay, he did read these quite regularly; especially on a late shift.
"I will leave you to it then. Hopefully, your companion will be awake tomorrow to tell us how he is feeling." Giving Oz a small nod, he found himself hesitating at the door. He should ask if Oz wanted anything else if he was going to be stuck in the room the rest of the night.. He was lucky to get to stay in the office! "Until morning then," he replied, pulling the door shut. He just had to go find someone to check the patient during the night.

“Until then,” he said. “Goodnight, doctor…”
As the door pulled shut on him, Ozzrick resigned himself to sleep and let the blankets drop where he stood. Fortunately, he was accustomed to sleeping in a variety of locations, he knew it wouldn’t take him long, and after a lengthy day—and period of days preceding that, for that matter—he was ready for it. After removing his boots and settling back, he was soon drifting off to sleep to the combined scent of ink, paper, and likely less noticeable subtleties as put there by whatever particular contribution the doctor had to a space he inhabited frequently.
Ozzrick slept very soundly, for a vagabond on the floor of a hospital on a prisoner’s island.

As he finished up around the clinic, Tac was finally able to talk one of the assistants into checking on the crewman during the night. He also asked the man to keep an eye on his office.. just in case. Word was to be sent to him if the patient woke before he got there.
He decided that he would have to have a talk with certain people around the clinic to make sure things ran a little smoother the next time a foreigner came in for care.. but that would be for later. Right now, he was tired and ready for the peace of his quiet house.
