Coffee.

What more can I say? It draws me like a magnet sometimes. When I finally found my way to my room in this basement area, I could smell it like it was some kind of blessing.

To my surprise I found that someone had made some, a nice dark roast that was wafting through the air. The one that had made it even had their door open and seemed more than willing to share.

Lady Tzei. She is a lovely woman, and she had made up the coffee and was more than willing to share, not that I felt right in taking it without doing something to help out first. I made a point of helping her with some wood she needed stacked. These rooms are so small though, and I am worried at some point she may end up burning down her room.

Well the good thing is, my room is on the other side of the hall, as in way down on the far end from her's. Still it was a nice thing to be able to get a cup of coffee and spend some time talking to someone else. This place seems rather lonely to me. No wild life, no nature to speak of, just an island in the middle of no where.

If nothing else I still have the ability to write these out. I figure keeping a journal will keep me sane and give me a chance to vent when things start to go wrong.

There is little else to do here other than find people to talk, do training, which I need to do, I have no idea what I am expected to work on though. My memories are still rather foggy at times. This room is so dull too, there is nothing here, just a bed a hook to hang my coat on and a cactus. I was lucky to find it.

Maybe I can be better friends with Gabby and Tzei. I will try and visit them both more often and see if they are willing to talk and share some time. If things go well maybe I can meet others too. It isn't like Trigg is much help. He doesn't talk to me.

I went to visit Tzei again. That coffee, it is so good. She had her door a bit open and she invited me to come in. I hope I didn't cause any issues with her that will be a problem later. Me being in there alone with her. She seemed really tired too, like she didn't want to wake up, or like she was having issues getting some sleep.

It was really weird to sit on a Ladies bed while she was there and talk to her while she was laying down, but she is a good woman and it was nice to spend some time with her.

Like myself she doesn't seem all that into fighting, which is good, cause then I have someone to talk to. Trigg isn't really all that useful in battle, but Tzei suggested that he may be good for other things. I have a feeling those other things are rather.. carnal in nature.

Tempting but we just met and I am not about to shame her that way. Seems she had a bad enough time before she got here without me adding anything negative to her reputation. I need to find out more about this Triad she had a run in with. Some kind of Mafia she said. Not good.

Anyway while we were talking she seemed to get tired and fell asleep, holding my coat. That was kind of cute. It is nice to know she feels that relaxed around me. I'd hate if she felt tense.

I want to know more about her.
