What was initially just a bit unsettling rapidly descended into something more sinister and Rep found himself feeling more and more anxious and worried about the situation he found himself in. A world where he was the only one who could move around and the only person for company seemed like a type of hell he hadn't even considered before.
When he spotted Sam, he paused for just a second before making his way over to see if what he thought he saw was actually present. He didn't like the being watched much better than being alone, not when it felt so sinister.
"...Sam?" he asked with concern.

While Sam himself was unmoving, his eyes were indeed still moving, tracking Rep's every step, unblinking. He continued to stare evenly at Rep until Rep neared even closer, and then a single green vine peeled away from his neck, where an O-shaped tattoo should have been, and very feebly and weakly tried to extend itself towards the only moving target in the room.

Rep’s relationship with creation had always been complex to say the least, finding himself often pitted against the best and the worst of the mighty legacy. However he’d warmed up in recent months, convinced both that creation had saved them from a horrible horseman fate and that somehow it was in turn responsible for mask who had been no small part of hauling himself out of a very long depression.
He’d spent a long time telling people not to touch stupid s**t, but right now he felt like taking a risk was the option he had. And besides, other people werr valuable, what did it matter if he was hurt?
Reaching out uncertainly, he touched the vine.

Green.
The sensation overtook Rep for a long, long moment until his focus finally cleared and he saw in the distance a massive tree, far larger and older than the one on Deus. They seemed to be in a building of some sort, a greenhouse that had long spiraled out of control, tree roots and branches tangling and crisscrossing out of concrete.
"Thank god," Sam said, and he actually seemed quite relieved as he jogged up next to Rep. "I've been stuck here for hours. I mean, I think I have, time has gone absolutely loopy in here, you try being stuck in your own mind."

Rep took in the view with an eyebrow raised up high, not one to make /judgements/ but finding a lot of his suspicions about Sam reiterated time and time again. However much like mask, Rep didn’t give a s**t deep down where Sam had come from or what he was, he considered him a friend regardless.
“I think I was.” He said.”I mean I don’t know if I was or not. Everyone was asleep and Circe was there before it all.” He was glad to see Sam too.
“Nice tree.” He said playfully.

Sam made a face. "Damn. I really ******** up this time. I told them not to play around with the- wait who was there?"
But that was as far as he got as the tree that Rep had just commented as being rather nice suddenly extended, impossibly fast, hundreds of roots, twisting and stretching to form massive claw-like appendages. Sam didn't even manage to get another word in before five, six, seven of them grabbed onto him and then began to tear him apart like a ragdoll. But he didn't bleed, there was simply green, and then pieces of arms and limbs that slowly shriveled into vines and something - something clattering onto the ground where the body had been. It was a weapon totem, and an exact, identical replica of it belonged to-

Rep stared at the horrific scene in front of him, mouth slightly agape. It had taken him without warning and it was all he could do was reach out his hand to try and help too little too late.
"Shi-"
And then the world jolted back again.
"-it." he said.
"Get away from the tree!" he said this time, in case it had been a premonition, in case it could be avoided somehow.

Sam didn't even question it, he moved instantly, flinching. When nothing instantaneous happened, he gave Rep a quizzical look. "What-"
- And then the vine-hands from the tree came crashing down on the spot Sam had been, and he yelled - more a quick surprised shout than anything else - and barely managed to get out of the way of the second attack, vines, branches, extending all directions as they collided and missed their target.
"Get me out of here!" He finally shouted, and there was no playfulness in his words. This was the sound of someone in a state of absolute panic. "Get me out of here now, I get it, I remember - I remember."
And before Rep could ask what exactly Sam remembered, a pair of massive hands, delicate and thin, reached out from seemingly nowhere and plucked both Sam and Rep out this particular cage, like it was nothing but a diorama set in front of them.
The both landed awkwardly back in the room, and there were still three other sleeping figures. Sam was absolutely silent, albeit awake.

Rep was glad to be out of the murder tree room, and even more glad that Sam was okay this time around. He didn't get to find out what he remembered.
"Thanks." he said, for pulling them both out, even if out here you never knew if things were going to get worse.
"You awright Sam?" he asked.

Sam made a noise, like someone testing their voice in a long long time. "Yeah." He said, and his eyebrows were furrowed, eyes scanning the room back and forth as if he was still trying to piece something quite important together. "Yeah. I just- just check on the others. I'll be fine, I just need a moment."

“The others.” He said grimly, still concerned about Sam, especially when he was acting so strange. He glanced around, trying to make sure everyone was still out for the count and nothing major had changed.
The visual of the tree tearing Sam apart like nothing at all lingered concerningly in his thoughts.

Sam didn't say anything for a long while until at last, he finally ponderously moved over, to Mark. "Probably him next," he said, and made a bit of a face. "We should hurry it up, come over here - wait, actually, I can probably-"
- And then they were inside somewhere dark. It felt immediately like some sort of cave, and Sam, from nowhere, seemed to pull out a flashlight, flickering it around.
There was something breathing at the end of the cave, and it was massive, a huge black shape with no discernible edges. It wasn't until Sam clearly flickered his flashlight over the shape that from the darkness peeled not two eyes-
- but eight.
The entire cave began to shake as the massive spider clambered onto its legs, a huge creation at least twenty, thirty feet high. From it strange clusters of jet black - more, smaller spiders, hundreds, thousands, millions, scattering all directions.
And wrapped up in a giant cobweb next to the spider was Mark, who was simultaneously screaming and squirming around in the trap.
Sam just sighed. "I'll get the massive oversized spider, can you free him - I mean even for Mark this is kind of lam-"
- He quickly stampeded some spiders that were beginning to crawl towards him with one foot.

Rep gave Mark a concerned look, uncertain what they might find inside the other man's ..room? Inside his head anyway. At the very least, he assumed it would be silly and harmless. He was a bit off the mark.
"Oh s**t." Rep said in a massive understatement as they shone the light on the spider, stirring it from its rest. Of course it would be a fear instead, a fear that he was well aware Mark had but hadn't even thought of.
It made him nauseous remembering how the last massive spider had shifted back and forth from a -
Nope. He couldn't afford to fixate on it, there were Marks to rescue, and he took the order from Sam directly, making his way to the other man's side. "Dude!" he said. "******** calm down." Though he knew that he wouldn't really be able to in the same situation. "Or at least stop squirming while I get you out of here."
He tried cutting some of the cobwebs around Mark with the small but sharp artifact dagger around his neck in the hopes it was at the very least more efficient than just his hands.
"We /will/ get out of here."

The entire cave shook as the massive spider reared up and the cave shook, large chunks of rock ricocheting off the ground. Rep could feel something soft brush against his feet - spiders, the floor was them.
"No no no no," Mark groaned, even as the cobwebs snapped and he slid, dead weight, onto the ground. "Not me, not me. Save her."
"Uh, Rep?" Shouted Sam, a massive spider about ten feet away from him in clumsy pursuit. "We have a bit of a problem."
He pointed up, throwing his flashlight for a second-
- And on the ceiling were hundreds, thousands more cobwebs. Each one had an incarnation of Mark tied to them, and that was about as much as Rep could see before a massive spider leg came crashing down, nearly impaling him.

"Talk about a ******** understatement." Rep grunted as he narrowly missed a horrible spider-assisted death. He tried not to think of the floor, tried not to think about the spiders crawling over his feet and how upset Harrison would be if he had any idea about any of this.
He wasn't sure who the her was Mark was talking about but it felt like there were a lot of difficult mysteries going around that day, and he
"What kind of ******** up place is this?" he said, panicking as what had seemed like a clear goal became a whole ******** lot of them. "Can we fight it?"
