Subira had been a busy body as a child but she'd also been very well behaved. Not to mention she'd had Matlal to look after her. Ariya didn't think that the twins would be all that bad. "Heh, well I guess I might loose a few pounds chasing them around." Not that she minded one bit. As Ujana said that the cool side would be all her she snorted back. "I'm sure they'll take after you the most anyways. Look at the green coloring on those buds." She moved back to er lover's side and wrapped her arms around her so that she could stand behind Ujana and pull her close. Resting her chin on the leafling's head she smiled contently. "I don't care who they take after most, they'll be beautiful." Best damned good looking kids anywhere, just like Subira and Eurig.

"Hmm. I dunno, that looks like the color of markings to me." It was something to speculate as she leaned into Ariya's hold, snuggling up against the big alk. It would be nice if they both had them; she enjoyed crystals, but it was the one aspect, beyond their actual size, that Ujana envied the most. Who wouldn't want natural tattoos on their skin? Especially if they were the same as Ariya's. Although, a combo of crystal and marking wouldn't be so bad either....
She was going to be thinking about this for a while, she just knew it.
"You'll come every day and check on them, right?" She raised her hands to place her arms over Ariya's, looking on at their little buds. "I want to, but I know I can't; not everyday, anyway. But you can, and I don't care how long you stay, either, stay here the whole time if you want to, I just want one of us to be there when they're ready."

Marking color huh? Ariya guess it could be. Still she motioned with one hand to the other buds that were around theirs. "Full Alkidike blooms don't show that color and they come out with markings. So I am sure ours will take after you the most." Then she started to wonder if the twins would have markings or not. What color would their eyes be? Would they be like Ariya's? As Ujana started to talk about coming to see the blooms everyday she paused long enough to think. She didn't want to leave Ujana alone and waiting nervously but her lover made a good point. Having one of them there when the girls were ready was a good idea. "If you don't have a problem with it then I'll stay here with them until they bloom." It would also make her feel a little more at ease being able to watch over them.

[10/10]
Ariya had a point. None of the other blooms looked like theirs, and they were all sure to have the markings. Then again, the other blooms had pure mothers so Aisha was the only one who truly knew how 'different' the babies were, and she wasn't ready to share that secret just yet.
All she knew for sure is that they would be loved. Their family was odd, certainly not typical, but it was functional. There was a bond there; trust and stability. Outrageous as she may be at times, Ujana viewed herself as a good mother and saw Ariya as one too. So maybe her kids weren't like the rest; all the better to stand out and show the world how amazing they were.
"It won't be easy, but I think I'll sleep easier knowing that they aren't alone. I mean, I know they're here-" She motioned vaguely to elder Yara, who had meandered her way around to speak with some other alk, "-but they aren't family. And if anything happens you'll be right here with them." Ujana held Ariya a little tighter, but she was firm in her resolve. "It'll be worth it, when we can all go home together."

She nodded her head. Knowing that they would be looked after personally would make things a little easier. "And I'm sure the twins will love to see one of their parents when they bloom." It didn't make it any easier to be away from Ujana and the kids but the time away would be worth it to bring her little girls home. (Yes, she still didn't think boys were a possibility.) After another long moment of watching their buds and hugging onto her lover she moved a little. "You want to stay here a little longer? Watch them together as the sun sets? I can walk back to the boat with you when you have to leave." Honestly Ariya was likely going to hold onto Ujana until the Elder made her leave. This moment was too perfect to simply let go.

It was a bittersweet moment. As excited as she was to become a parent again, knowing that she would have to leave them so soon after finding out was hard. Of course she knew she could come back, just...not as frequently as she wanted. It was something whining and fussing wouldn't change, though, so Ujana was going to make the best of it.
Ariya would stay on Chibale, Ujana would make the trips and it would just work out...somehow. She just had to be patient. "Yeah, that sounds good." She had so many letters to write, things to buy and have built, but it all just seemed so far away now. Ujana still wanted to scream; she wanted to cry, too, which was odd, since she hadn't done that so freely since she'd been pregnant. It was a jumbled up mix of emotions that left her at a loss for words. Eventually she would be asked to go for a while, but until then she was content to stay just where she was, waiting for the newest members of her family to make their appearance.
