I'd heard that Oro was a country expression in some areas of Japan... sort of a dialectic phrase.

Yeah, it's a possibility. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me. For some reason, I thought it was a made-up word... or am I mistaking that with 'Rurouni'?

Yeah I think you are cuz if you read the little inside covers,(I think its in #2) it'll say that theres no kanja word for "Rurouni".

Ah, I remember seeing that before. I remember thinking it was really random. Then again, I love random stuff. I can't remember how many times he says it in the manga. I think it was either 39 or 93. XD

BasraTrafalgar It simply means whatever 'huh', 'wow' or/and 'what..?' That is my view, from what I've read and seen the timing of 'oro' being said. I do believe it is correct. That it is (or, at least we think it is). ^_^x

My little sisters weird because every time she reads ruro-ken she thinks oro is actually pronounced "oreo", omg....shes a dork. xd LOL
