Claire rubbed her temples when Aindy asked about the rules and called the Ministry arseholes. That brought a small smirk to her face. Then he sat down beside her and asked if other things in the magical fantasy were real too. Boy, was she about to blow his mind. "Well, yes, basically. The Ministry of Magic, real creative name, I know, has a law banning magical people from discussing magic with Muggles. That's what we call non-magical folk. Basically, in my case and the case of your cousins, immediate family can know about the magical world since they're unwittingly introduced to it. But they're sworn to secrecy, which is why they didn't tell you." She sighed and wiped some tears from her eyes. Her shaking seemed to be stopping finally. "To answer your second question...s... Yeah, basically. Dragons, vampires, werewolves, mermaids. Most of those creatures from fantasies are real. One of my favorite teachers at school is a werewolf." She pat Aindy's arm, then picked up her wand. With a wave, she called to her the Defense Against the Dark Arts textbook from her hidden shelf. Setting it in her lap, she flipped through the pages, showing him some of the magical beasts they studied in school.
