Well there is no rush now, we can plan this for when we need to do it for real.
They say that houses will be reset before the final release, so any attempt now will be a dry run. But neother I nor Jiyu can place a house. Mine was placed during testing, and they didnt reset before the pre-release, so i'm stuck.
But of enough of os want to try to take over an area or 2 it would be nise to try once the time comes.

Auctually, in the post about guilds 2.0 they did mention something about Guild Houses, so we might be able to do that still.

I also heard about towns 6 months ago as "coming soon". So I wouldn't hold my breath anticipating any features real soon. I was just going to see if we wanted to do this. I was thinking this would be a good excrcise for us as a guild. It would be nice to get 48 of us all together at once and do something as a guild. We have more than enough members to takeover at least one zip. We just need to pull together. This would also be a good way to see if we would like a guild town if and when those are released. But mostly I want to see if we can manage to come together and coordinate something as a guild. I know many of the members have other plans, but I hope at least 1/3 of the members would be interested in trying this.

Ok, they just announced that we ewill be able to reserve areas if we wanna be next to friends.
I want a zipcode with 37 in it. 37!?!?!?!
Maybe 000037?
We will have to see what happens when the reservation system rolls around.
Being able to reserve definately makes the move a little easier. IF we can agree on a perset zip, and all get a reservation in in time.
LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
We only need 48 members to fill a zip, we should be able to do this.

We make a mule account, and donate money for the house through there. What do y'all say? Every once in a while, the admin goes through and accepts the donations?

I expect there will be some limitations to keep one person from reserving large areas at once. Since that could cause problems when people begin to place houses. We will just have to see what they say when they begin to let us reserve. Once we know more about the process, we can put together a plan. Until then i want to gather as many people as i can here in the guild so that we can do this as fast as possible. The longer it takes to fill the area, the more risk we have of spots being claimed by non-members.

Since the reservation was somewhat explained in the announcement, i made a sticky for us to finally get to organizing this. I don't know how many people are willing to do this, do if you are interested, go to the sticky, and say so. We need to know how many people when we are making plans.

What I meant was we make a Mule account, and people donate objects and gold to that Mule... Then the guild owners have control over that mule's house. They don't do anything to the mule avatar, just the house.

So I would rather wait for that since it would proably be better suited for what we would want.
