Danika's gaze opened as her antenna moved at the sudden vibrations in the ground near her, "Did it have to be something specific?" The young mystic frowned thoughtfully as she rose from the ground to greet her Sister. Quietly she walked closer so that she could look at the warrior, "Honestly I wanted to know more, but was afraid that lingering would only cause trouble for you." Danika's cheeks flushed as she glanced away sheepishly, "I truly am intrigued by the earthling countries and to hear stories always catches my interest." She also was interested in hearing about the sisters on Yael, but to ask such a thing would only stir trouble among the Sisters who had been present. For her mentor or for any of the Elders to hear her now would only cause trouble and that was the last thing Danika wished to do.
"I don't get many chances to leave Aisha and never get to step away from Chibale." Danika confessed as she walked a few steps away from Mnyiri to brush a hand across the bark of one of the great trees, "So I was curious to hear more about the outside world from someone who seems to have traveled a lot." She glanced shyly over towards Mnyiri, "Would that be too much to ask?" Danika paused before approaching Mnyiri once more, "And I would like to get to know you as well of course! It's rare that I can meet such an openly open Sister." She couldn't help teasing as she offered a bright smile. It was hard to be herself with all the Elders watching, but to be alone with another like Mnyiri? It allowed Danika to become more lively and far less formal and restrained in her motions and speech.

Mnyiri shrugged her shoulders, "Not much to say, really." She really wasn't sure what to say. How did one introduce themselves to someone who spoke to a goddess? "Wait...really? You're actually interested in earthling cultures and don't just...I dunno, bowl them over?" She winced as soon as she said it, "Sorry, it's just that...others in your position haven't exactly been nice to earthlings or my kind, for that matter, so you'll have to understand if I'm a little on edge."
She folded her hands behind her head, leaning on the tips of her toes to stand up, falling back on the balls of her feet at times, "Well...if you're serious about learning about life outside of Chibale...you should come by my friend, Osika's house. I don't have a place of my own, since I move around so much, but she's letting me stay there and I keep all of my research there. There's TONS about...well, about everything. All of my notes, drawings, and experiences are cataloged there."

Danika's gaze widened as she quickly shook her hands in the air, "No, no no. I wouldn't...oh no." She let out a sigh before crossing her arms across her stomach, "That's exactly why I can't talk in public about my curiosity." She crinkled her nose, "Even those that talk of peace don't even seem to care that much about 'lesser' beings, but I've always been somewhat intrigued by how they live and what they do. They surely must amount to something to have stood up against what they have so far." She forced a small laugh, "Silly, right? I don't blame you at all for being on edge." On edge...she had never heard that saying much before. Not like anyone really spoke casually with her save for perhaps Taka, but the huntress was pretty rough towards everyone and blunt about her feelings. Danika's gaze lowered towards the ground, "But I truly have no ill intentions, I promise. I would never hurt anyone who bears no ill will towards me." And she wouldn't ever hurt a Sister. Full blooded or not the other Alk was still here with dreads and serving under Aisha's grace so how could Danika shame her or view her as anything horrible? "I would love to." Danika's expression lightened for a split second before she let out a sigh again, "But I doubt that I can disappear for long due to recent events." Her antenna even lowered against her skull in defeat, "Perhaps one day should Aisha grace me with the chance for a bit of freedom." She joked though her expression stayed somber, "At least now I know there's some dangerous materials to be thoroughly researched...a whole treasure it seems." The young mystic glanced towards Mnyiri with a small smile, "Sincerely though I must thank you for earlier. I did enjoy listening to your stories, even though the amount of time I can linger is short it was very enlightening to meet you." She nodded her head, "Mnyiri, right? Should the day come that I can sneak away again for a bit I shall try to find this Osika so I can see all this information you have gathered."

Oh, now this was interesting, she'd flustered the mystic! The act itself brought a splitting grin to Mnyiri's face, and she seemed to take no small amount of pride from it. "That's what I've been saying for years, but no one listens! I've been called a 'sympathizer," She used finger air quotes, "because I've got shifter blood, but it's not like I was raised with them!"
She scrunched her nose up in frustration before trying to let it all go. It wouldn't help anyone to get her feathers ruffled, and besides, she wasn't here to do that. She could go off on a tangent later, after she'd either come to know this girl better or when she was alone.
"Surely they could let you go for a few hours to visit sister Osika and her daughters? She's an established huntress, with sweet little girls who could benefit from seeing a strong, considerate mystic such as yourself since they were too young to attend the gathering. Even if you came once it would be better than to go years without knowing."
Ultimately it was out of her hands, but it seemed a waste for Danika not to see them. After all, if she was that willing to learn, then why couldn't she? "I enjoyed telling them. It's hard, seeing the little ones so scared, and it helped, if only for a while." She smiled, "Yep, it's Mnyiri. I'll be in Chibale for a while thanks to...this Dretch business, so feel free to come find me when you want me. Just watch out though; Osika might flip out if you show up. She's a lot more...traditional? Respectful? than I am. Formal, that's the word. She's good people but formal."

Danika smiled warmly at the other Alk's reactions, "Honestly it seems there's little difference between you and any other blade I know." She commented shyly, "And it seems you've conquered quite a few feats despite those white dreads." Which she secretly thought were lovely, but the mystic was too shy to say such a thing. She was just thankful that Aisha had allowed her to meet such an interesting character today. It truly was an experience she would never forget. The young mystic pursed her lips thoughtfully, "I suppose if an event called for a blessing from Aisha then perhaps I could go to visit. I simply have to endure an escort on the way since everyone wishes to make certain I am safe." Even now she was supposed to be heading towards where her instructors waited. Very rarely was she allowed to wander alone anymore, not since the Dretch had appeared. "Understood." Danika laughed quietly, "I'm more accustomed to those reactions though this...this has been refreshing." She smiled towards Mnyiri, "Thank you again, Mnyiri." She glanced upwards with a slow sigh, "I hate that my time is so short, but we will meet again." Danika reached out to touch the other Alk's arm lightly, "I promise." With that she would leave and just hope that Aisha would grace her with another visit from the interesting hybrid. Perhaps then she would ask Mnyiri, once she had gotten to know her more, about serving as eyes for her in the world. That was if the Alk wished to travel more as Danika would enjoy more stories. A small smile flickered across her features at the thought before she slipped away into the forest once more towards where her mentors waited for her.
