December 2017 Academy: Creative Writing Senior 1. Student describes their favorite or dream outfit in as much detail as possible. 100 words or more. 2. Post a small RP response in thread with the student's reaction to the assignment. There is no word count needed for this. 3. ??? Profit!
Username: Orangeish Sherbert Student Name: Cider Dream Outfit: If I had all of the money in the world, enough to live comfortably for the rest of my life and provide for those that I care about the most, I wouldn’t have to worry about such things as price tags when it comes to clothing. I would be able to indulge in the finest silks and softest fabrics which would drive my senses to a point where they would be unable to return from. If I could have the perfect outfit, it would be the most comfortable article of clothing that has ever been discovered…soft and breathable and comfortable. As well as stylish, perhaps a skirt with some fancy boots. My top, of course would be a vivid green to better accentuate my eyes and whoever saw me in this outfit would surly know that I was the happiest hybrid to ever exist.
Response: Cider paused, glancing at the writing assignment with a look of utter confusion and bewilderment. Her dream outfit? She had never been really interested in fashion…she just wore what was comfortable…but…well. At least this might be a good way to figure out how to really make full use of flowery adjectives…either that or this assignment would be the one to stump her forever.
Even though the subject matter wasn’t what she had really been hoping for…she truly did her best…even if the outfit that she invented was not something that she would ever actually wear.
Ever.

March 2018 Academy: Creative Writing Junior 1. Student describes themself like they would in a book. (150 words) 2. Post a small RP response in thread with the student's reaction to the assignment. (100 words) 4. Must be at least 350 words total 5. ??? Profit!
Username: Delicate Rose Bud Student Name: Charlemagne Bio: As they approached the archery range they spotted a golden figure, bow raised in a majestic, powerful pose. The dashing young man was Charlemagne, also known as Charlie. He was one of the most admirable, handsome Bakenekos they had ever encountered; his coat was a long mix of white and gold that glimmered just right in the sunlight. His eyes were a luminescent shade of pale green, his smile pearly white and perfectly straight. His hair always managed to look effortless and flawless at the same time, not a hair out of place. He had an athlete's build, with strong shoulders and a slim, tapered waist. He was more lean than brawny, all smooth and elegant power. His arms were toned from countless hours on the archery range wielding bows and arrows like it was second nature. He had a very laid back nature, almost always sporting some sort of lazy smile. It is not hard to befriend Charlie, but when one does, they will discover that he is an incredibly hardworking fellow that takes pride in his accomplishments, as he knows he is solely responsible for his success. When Charlie sets his mind to something, he will work relentlessly until he is satisfied with his progress. This applies to both his academic and athletic endeavors. Athletics are Charlie's particular past time of sorts. His father was a professional archer, so he aspires to follow in his footsteps. He has also picked up an interest in fencing, which will play to his good hand-eye coordination and balance skills.
word count: 258
Response: Charlie was more than happy to complete the assigned creative writing prompt for this week. He thought he knew himself pretty well, and anticipated that he could knock out the assignment in a snap. The easiest part was describing his appearance, which made sense to him. It was a bit more challenging trying to see himself from a different, separate point of view to accurately portray his morals and ideals. He added in his love and passion for sports at the end, as he considered it to be an integral part of who he is as a person. He turned in his biography, pleased with the finished product.
