"Well then, let's see how this works out for me then..." She grinned a little at him, making an OOF sound at his hit, and seemed to focus on her blade, blue eyes a little wide behind her glasses. The runes on the sword began to glow brighter with their charge and there was a long moment, then the glow effused the sword. "You will feel the effect next attack, my dear..." "I'm so ready." he said, and was, even as he tried to sneak in a little hit before she did anything. It was exciting, everything was thrilling. Magic, weapons and all sorts of wonderful, facinating things.
And this time, as much to his own surprise as anyone's he actually hit.

Seren eyed the glow, and began a swing towards Fred, but when his hit... It hit hard, and she swore, knocked off balance by the hit. "Impressive!"
