Terry returned the kiss, wanting to get a taste of Melvin before putting an end to this. It would have made his weapon relieved had it not been for the tiny problem that Terry didn't want it to end.
"I'm sorry, and no it's not an open relationship. But..." he trailed off, resorting to corkscrew logic to come up with the offer he whispered into the shell of Melvin's ear. The smile he gave the blonde was equal parts seductive, hopeful, and shy.
In the back of Terry's mind, Agata writhed in anger and disapproval.

Melvin's eyes narrowed as he looked over at Terry.
"Are you ******** kidding me?" He sat up, leaning over to pick up Terry's actual clothes and throwing them at him. "Get changed, Terry." He said, moving to get off the bed.

Terry blinked, completely thrown for a loop at his reaction. He'd thought Melvin might have gone for the suggestion but apparently not? Dark brows knitted together as he caught his clothes, making no motion to put them on in spite of Agata's repeated insistence to get dressed playing on repeated in the back of his mind.
"But I thought-" he said helpless and confused.

"What? That I'd wait for you to get permission? That I'd want to share? That I'm some evil little temptation you need the okay first to make this somehow all good on your conscience? That I would wait around for the green light from someone else?" He rose up which was a bit of a challenge now.
"You clearly don't want it as much as I did." He moved to go to the bathroom.

In normal circumstances, Terry would view this reaction through the lens of someone who consumed ridiculous amounts of escapist wish-fulfillment media. He would extrapolate whatever information he could then refer to some online website for very likely tropes to explain the situation. But this was not normal circumstances. Not for Terry.
Also having most of his blood circulating not in his head made thinking clearly nigh impossible. "I, I'm sorry," Terry tried to reach for Melvin's arm, whether just to hold the other man or pull him back to bed it was uncertain. "This is all my fault, I'm sorry, please don't be mad at anyone but me."

His wrist was gripped and he stopped, shoulder blades twitching on his bare back before he willed himself to look at Terry, both hurt and frustrated.
"Don't worry. I am." He shot his hand free.
"Why did you think it would be fun to lead me on?" He felt betrayed, lead to believe he could be fine and make it, to have something and move on. To be like everyone else on the island free of so many conplications. He usually didn't mind being naked, but the effects of their interaction minutes ago only left him physically honest and upset from the open vulnerability and need.
"I needed this. Just once - just -" And he had to stop himself, biting his lip as his fost rose and then fell. He turned and started to move away again. "Just get dressed and go."
