Itbwas a timid movement, a gentle sway. Something you'd do as you waited for your date to arrive.
He moved over to stand over Vash and moved his hips with his. "Who taught you again?"

"I dunno." He looked up at Melvin, and judging from the expression on Vash's face, he was maybe regretting this deal. Except that he was getting music out of it, and that was something worth celebrating. His eyes dropped to Melvin's hips and then closed. Regret over that, definitely. "You go places, you dance. You watch music videos. You make friends with people who know what they're doing..."

"A foot tapping wanderer. You sound like you enjoy dancing a lot to learn it in your free time. Must be hard on the island for you then. Not any clubs here." He said, making conversation as he followed Vash's sway.
"What do we do next then?"

"Never really did clubs much, just like, parties at peoples' houses --" Vash wasn't much of a teacher, but he could guide Melvin through the basics at least. And, the less creepy Melvin was, the more he'd actually relax a little. Instead of scowling and shaking his head, he'd actually step in to poke here and there, to guide Melvin's motions a bit better. Mostly, it was going to be footwork, because that was what Vasily liked. He doubted Melvin would be a big fan of pop and lock or capable of isolations, so he stuck with what was possible. Staying on the beat. Moving back and forth. "How's that feeling?" moonkitsune pushed it along a little. XD

"Uh....good? Trying to remember it." It felt strange trying to follow the footwork of someone else who had done it over and over to the point of being second nature to them. While Vash would show a step or point the toe of his shoe in a certain combination, he was often left stopping and asking for it to be shown just one or three more times. There were little adjustments. Moments where Vash had to gesture or even nudge him more in one direction or another. To not cross his feet in a certain way. To not over extend or lean too far back. To remember that while this was going on, his hips had to be doing something else.
"I think I got it?" He said, his voice going a bit more high pitched as the more unsure he was. "Not that you are a bad teacher."
and be blue Sure. Poke and prod as much as you want.

It was weird watching someone so closely follow his moves was a little uncomfortable, a little strange. It meant that Vash didn't look entirely sure about just how good of a teacher he really was. There was a difference between teaching someone some moves and teaching them to dance. "...I guess." His eyes flicked back up to Melvin's face, the frown lingering on his face. "I dunno what else to tell you. Just gotta do stuff. Maybe watch some youtube videos..."

He continues to stare at his feet as he slowly followed the steps in his head they had been going over. " Why would I do that when I have a teacher?"
"Rather learn this way then watch a video. I learn more."

"Yeah but this is like...one...thing." Vash scratched at the back of his hair, tousling it worth and pursing his lips as he tried to figure out just how to explain."You can't just do the same thing all the time. Or, I mean, I guess you can, if you're just trying to blend into a crowd and not look super awkward, but..." He paused, then, looking Melvin over. "No, nevermind, I guess that's perfect. Just always do exactly this, yeah?"

He stopped and then looked back at him. "Are you offering another lesson?" He asked. "For a price?"

He was tempted to flat out refuse, just on principle, just because it was weird. Instead, though, Vash took a moment to pause, to think, fidgeting where he stood, hands in his pockets. Melvin seemed connected. Together. "...I dunno. What you got?"

"If you need something else runiced, I can total it out into however many lessons you want to give. If not, then just cash then." He said with a smile. "Because I'm guessing you don't take runic batteries as payment." He joked.
"Unless.......you have another idea of something I can do for you." He offered, not sure if Vash needed help with anything.

"Can you get alcohol?" He tilted his head a little bit, eyes gone narrowed as he considered his options. To be fair, Vash didn't look old enough to buy his own alcohol. Not in the states at least. It wouldn't be the first time he'd asked an adult to take care of it. "Or, uh, you can't get me proper internet can you?"

"I can defiantly get your alcohol. Whatever you'd like." He didn't bother informing Vash he probably could go to the bar and order it himself since this all worked out for him. He'd reveal that one later.
"And no. If we had proper internet a lot of us wouldn't be as bored and prone to trouble. I'd be watching recent movies more often instead of having to go on leave to buy dvds or bumming TV series off of other hunters. Normal internet is a security risk here. Can't have anyone hash-tagging the ghost they killed or taking a selfie with a horsemen."

"Alcohol'd be cool, I guess, then." Vash had to think about it -- reaching out to grab his iPod, to turn it off, slowly wrapping headphones in around it. He chewed on the thought, trying to figure out what else he might need. "And sugar. Like. Ring dings?" It was thoughtful, musing. "And ice cream, but it'd just ******** melt, wouldn't it."

"If you want, text me a list like the alcohol you want, the sweets you want, and the ice cream you want." He pointed a thumb over his shoulder to another room. "I have a kitchen with a fridge. I can keep it cold for you without you having to worry about anyone stealing it from you. If you aren't okay with that, then put the pint into another container to hide what it is before you hide it somewhere in the communal kitchen fridges or someone is going to eat it even if your name is on it. It's a very sad lesson to learn."
"So we have a deal then?"
