Rhys got the message about a meeting to talk about fixing the damned depressing weather and all the ******** rain, so he headed over right away and took the first free seat he could find, which was on the floor somewhere by the couch. There wasn't a whole lot he could offer by way of information so he got comfortable, sat quietly, and just listened and waited for the meeting to properly start (because apparently it hadn't yet, so at least he hadn't missed anything).

Seren eyed the message about the meeting. She was so new here, she had no idea what was going on with most of this, and she wondered if she'd be of ANY use at all. She considered it for a long moment, then finally she shrugged. Worst case scenerio is she'd learn new stuff. Best case, she might actually be of use.

She walked quietly in, and eyed the people in the room. She spotted Joy and Rhys, and pondered, then moved in to find a seat as close to both of them as she could, so she felt less alone in the crowd of people she didn't know, or at least didn't know very well.

Joy spotted familiar faces and had the reasoning behind the meeting been a lighter one, she would have waved for them to sit closer. But she tried to match the mood and instead headed to sit down somewhere in between the two and gave them both thumbs up.

Terry surreptitiously tried to stick close to Kim, knowing what she'd done. While he shared Melvin's sentiment that there weren't any hunters petty enough to want to harm the Sun, he wanted to show that he was being a good boyfriend. Even if he was pretty sure Kim could kick more a** than he could. His face remained blank, even as his hand reached out to hold Kim's and give her a squeeze.

Zeke shifted in his chair so he could see Ever leaning against the wall. "If I had to guess, I'd say it was puppet, rather than what we're used to. Given life, given a simple order, and let loose to follow it." It was all speculation, of course, but it seemed like a reasonable assumption. Of course Melvin was free to add his own two-cents on the matter as well, but he seemed a little distracted by the arrival of Kim.

Who seemed to be behaving as if she were marching towards the gallows. It had him rolling his eyes before he caught sight of Cee and returned the wink with a grin.





For as much of a party girl as the Mist could be, it seemed as though Soleil also knew how to buckle down and get serious. Expression attentive as she soaked in the exchange going on regarding golems.

Until the arrival of of a rather dower Sun who had walked right up to Melvin to announce her presence, and...seek protection?

It had the tall girl staring at the Intermediate trainee with a look of bald distaste, but she didn't say anything. Instead simply shook her head and crossed her arms across her chest as her eyes skimmed over the crowed, hunting for familiar faces. She spotted the tall Life hunter with the white hair that had helped her and her sister in the Sahara, and if she managed to catch his eye she offered a small nod.

"Aww.." Cee crooned lightly at Oliver before throwing her arms around him and hugging him against his will most likely.

"I missed ya-" She smacked a smooch to his cheek before she let go. Thankfully she used high quality cosmetics so there would be no evidence left on his face.

Seren shifted her position so that she could be close enough to Joy and Rhys to talk to them, sitting on the floor. She really didn't understand much of what was going on, because most of it had happened before she arrived. She looked at them and quietly asked "What is the Tree of Creation, and why is it so hard to go there?" She looked up at them both, her eyes confused.

"I'd actually like opinions on that." He said to Jordan and then turning to the rest.

"We can either work together to fight off golems to get to the island and find the artifact. From there, we could swim down to Atlantis to return it."

"OR we can swim straight to Atlantis empty-handed and try to appeal to the logic of the A.I. system to stop the attack and give us access to the island to look for it and return it. Make a deal while we are down there possibly if that is needed."

He wasn't sure which one was best. A plea to stop the attack long enough to look on the island thoroughly, which would be a shorter route, or one where they swam to the island, tried to look during an attack and return with something to Atlantis.

"One has us with something to show them, but is longer and could wear us down. The other is a straight shot to Atlantis but with nothing to show for them and pleading to them to halt their attack to give them what they might want - IF this even is Atlantis."

He shrugged. "I can't say. I haven't had enough time researching Sophie to know if she is advanced enough to understand mercy or empathy. Thus far, she has been very straightforward. I just hope she allows us access to the city, but we won't know till we go. If that sounds good to everyone, we can take that plan of action to go straight to Atlantis."
