In my early child hood I was raised till 9 yrs old by grand parents, They were there for me since that early age of 2 yrs old, How I loved them, such a loving grand Maman, Her name was Madeleine, in her earlier days she was a Math Teacher, And I can remember sighting my time tables by heart on a black board at home! Had to do my home work before heading outside to hang with the friends=) Grand papa had a softer side for me! In the winter time he'd make me a home made ice rink outback! So much fun! pretended I was in the Ice Capades lol! In the Summer time, we'd put my little tent out in the yard! I'd have tea parties with my doll friends *smiles* My grand Maman, was on her knees fixing her garden, will never forget the fresh cucumbers and carrots, and strawberries! I remember one time, she had gotten scared , a raccoon was in her garden, she ran inside the house lol Those next door neighbors! Kept some stray animals in cages! Found that awful! What I remember the most were the stories, Mom told me of my grand parents! One was, when I was just a babe, she could not stop me from crying, she told me, and was frustrated, cause she felt I had been spoiled, for my grand Maman, rocked me to sleep in her rocking chair heart
