While he was admittedly a little surprised to hear there were similarities in what they did believe, Tac strangely found himself a little relieved as well. "Well, not that we have that cleared up.." Sighing slowly, he let his posture relax a little. "So, tell me, do you like this sanctum more or less than the one in Pajore, or is it the same?" Time to move on to a less trying subject!

Zekiel smiled and looked out into the hall of his new home. “Well, it is not the Sanctum,” he said. “There is only one, as there will only ever be. And the Sanctum was my home all my life, but…” He drew a breath, “…this is my temple, and will be in its entirety when the priestesses before me consider my training complete. It makes this city my people…and I think it is a new and wondrous burden, filled with reward and challenge. I love that I am nearer to the sea here, and that I might visit with Marleya with more frequency to see to her health…”
He considered a moment.
“And, I think that I do like the purpose that comes with what I can do to help each day, and feel myself become a part of the lives of all those here who come for whatever purpose they do. At the Sanctum, I was a student even when I performed tasks for the people of Pajore. Their leaders there are the High Priest and Priestess and council of priests and priestesses of more rank and experience than I. Though this is a smaller city, I have more responsibility within a narrower area…it is a good balance for me. Has your practice expanded since I last visited?”

Tac watched Ze talk, observing the tone and posture of the other man. Ze did seem quite content here. "I am glad to hear you are settling in well. They are lucky to have you."
Taking a moment to think, he eventually nodded. "Yes, I would say so. I am always trying to expand my knowledge, and being able to apply it allows me to see more cases. I still have much to learn, I know."

Zekiel smiled. “There is always much to learn.” For the moment, however, he glanced about them again, this time though, with more intent on the surroundings than distant thoughts. “You’ve come all this way. Will you stay the evening and night to rest before traveling again? I can arrange for room for you.”

At first, Tac opened his mouth to turn down the offer. However, he had to admit that the idea of heading home this late was less than appealing, and he was quite hungry. "If it is no trouble.. I appreciate the hospitality." It wasn't as thought he had anything to hurry home to, and he could be driven right to the clinic in the morning. Hopefully, being in a strange place would not prevent him from sleeping.
