She was taken aback a little by the excitement of the other girl, but still ended up smirking lightly. She knew it was not the whole of Oba that was to blame... She leaned in to hear the hushed question, and she paused a moment before nodding. "Very much so," she murmured back. At those last words about parents, Aari both smiled and winced. "Being a parent does not always make a person good. ..My mother is one of the finest of Zena, while.. while my father is the opposite representation of Oba. ..I trust that your mother is as you say though, considering how you are so far."

"Ahhh... yeah, I suppose that is true." She knew that not all parents were good people but it was still a shame that this nice girl had to deal with a poor one. She seemed like the sort that Shura would like to hang out with more since she was nice and she felt she could trust her not to go crazy and try to steal Dovian away. Definitely not like some of the girls around Oba that thought all they had to do was lay claim and that her brother would automatically belong to them. Giving a smile she said, "Oh, yeah! My mother is quite wonderful. She is the best cook in the history of ever if you ask my father, it's how she won him over." She glanced over toward the big merchant, then back again, giving a little chuckle, "You're mother must be just as amazing I'm sure." Just the fact that the blue haired girl was still so nice meant that her mother must being something grand to balance out her father. That man, though Shura hadn't met him, was someone she didn't like. Anyone that gave her homeland a bad name wasn't someone she felt that she'd ever like. Shura perked up, giving a little giggle, as she realized something during the conversation, "Ah... you know what. I feel that since we are getting on so well I should probably introduce myself! My name is Shura!" Her parents didn't have to know that she was chattering on with someone without bothering with polite pleasantries she thought to herself.

As Shura went on about her mother, Aari couldn't help smiling warmly. It was wonderful to hear such praise for a mother. And then her own mother... "I feel quite certain that she is amazing," she replied softly. Hopefully, using the present tense was correct still... Brow rising at the introduction, her cheeks flushed hot. Such a basic courtesy that she so often forgot. "It is a pleasure, Shura. My name is Aari."

Shura gave a little giggle as her new friend blushed over realizing what the two of them had forgotten to do, "Yeah... heh, we are pretty amazing, the way that we were able to forget all about introductions during our chat." They'd been talking for a good amount of time before she had even thought about introductions. Not because she didn't want to share her name but because she was so caught up in their conversation. "Well, our parents aren't around so there is nobody to remind us that we are supposed to do introductions at the start of a conversation with a new person." She said in a hushed voice, giving a glance toward her father who was too busy with work to notice the slip up, then back again. To her father chatting with people was more important, it wasn't as though he as a merchant really looked for names unless he was making a business deal that would be long lasting after all... but still, Shura didn't want to appear as rude in front of the man since he was so important to her and in general.

At least the young lady did not seem to be offended by the slip-up. If anything, she seemed to have a delightful sense of humor. Aari grinned and nodded. "My mother did make sure that I learned proper etiquette. She would be appalled! I guess being with my father the past years has dulled those sensibilities in me." The mention of her father made her lose the humor in her face briefly, but soon she was smiling again. "It truly was a pleasure to meet you, Shura, but I am afraid that I need to be going. I need to check in with my friends, and I should go before that.. charming fellow returns." Reaching out, she patted the younger girl's arm. "Take care of yourself, and your brother. Many people need watching over in this world, and I am certain that you will do well in such a guiding role."

Shura gave a smile and said, "Well, I won't tell if you don't tell!" No reason to go tattling on each other when it was something that neither of them wanted their parents to learn about she thought to herself. At the mention of Aari needing to go Shura's face fell a little, "Is that so? That's too bad, I was having fun chatting with you." It had given her something to do while she was on such a seemingly short leash because of the Dretch. No matter, at least she'd been distracted for a while by her new friend. "You be careful too! If that guy comes back I will do my best to give him some false information to get him lost or something." She offered, wanting to help the other girl out where she could. As she was told that there were many people that needed watching over and that she would do well in such a guiding role Shura's pale cheeks started to burn a bit hot. "A-Ahh... thank you!" Huh, protect more people then just Dovian, huh? So long as such things didn't get in the way of her job keeping her twin safe she supposed that she could offer help to others as well. Especially nice people like Aari. Lifting a hand to give the girl a little wave she said, "Stay safe and have a good day."
