There were expletives said through gritted teeth as he did his best to dodge the jabs. The only comforting thing for him was the familiar crackle coming from Zephira, and when he the onslaught was over and he saw his chance he sidestepped and slashed at the hunter's other side, this time sending a surge of lighting into the attack.
And then he pulled back to take a breather. The brunette could feel his clothes starting to stick to him already, which meant he was getting in a pretty decent workout.

“s**t… that hurt.” The lightning crackled from the other’s weapon when it dug into his side sending an unpleasant tingling along his side to his shoulder as if trying to escape its way out of his fingers. That was going to leave a mark if it didn’t leave some sort of singed shirt and hair. Sid didn’t let him take too long of a breather, ignoring the numbness in his fingertips he dodged forward, feinting left and striking the dagger at the hunter’s calf. HP: 17/40 DMG: 7 CHG: 1/3

He felt the blow to his calf, enough that it actually had him staggering for a moment, though that didn't keep him out of the fight. He quickly got his footing back and slashed downward, aiming for Sid's knee.
He was starting to get tired though, and it probably showed more than he would have liked.

It was a smart hit to the knee as Sid went down, it was almost like hitting the funny bone on your elbow when you didn’t want it to yet it was a jerk reaction. It took a moment for the tingling to fade away as he attempted to swing wildly at Rhys to keep him away. HP: 12/40 DMG: 0 CHG: 1/3

When Sid went down Rhys saw his chance to move in for a good hit if he could manage it. He dodged the wild swings and managed to sneak his blade up and across the other Hunter's arm this time, before stepping back and away from the flailing. Flailing could do some serious damage, he learned a while back, so it was always good to stay away from it if you could.
