So far, this senshi thing wasn't turning out to be as bad as Forte had feared. Sure, it meant potentially fighting in a dress that she was still half convinced was just going to fall off one of these days, but... these people wanted her around. Hell, they even seemed to like her. Which... was really strange, and kind of nice, even though she had to pinch herself on occasion to be sure she wasn't dreaming.
And while sometimes it was a little difficult to make time to meet everyone, she hadn't yet regretted dipping into her small savings plan to do so. Though that didn't mean she was prepared for someone dropping in on their get-together - someone with a lot of power - she was going to have to ask who the lady was later, since the senior senshi seemed to know, and 'Cosmos' sounded important - and a half-youma that was clearly making people twitchy, and not just in the general 'ew chaos agent' way, but - at least in Elpis' case - the 'I know you and I want to punch your face in' way.
Added up together, that meant... well, that there was a history there of some sort, and made her want to move a little in front of Subra to guard her ...and maybe a little behind the stronger senshi. She liked fighting; she wasn't stupid. But Lysithea wanted to help, which meant this was genuine. Scary situation or not.
"Alright," she said, glancing around - and particularly at Elpis, who didn't sound quite like herself. "I'm in if everybody else is." After all, this was an 'all or nothing' kind of thing. There wasn't even a point in trying if they weren't all willing to help.

Time with her Court was always something Subra was up for. They were her friends, her senshi-family. She hoped Massallia and Almary would want to meet them someday. And the romantic in her hoped they would be at the trio's wedding someday, because NO ONE was stopping her from marrying her boys if they made it that far! And then they had visitors. Very powerful visitors that had Subra wanting to hide behind someone. O-oh. Oh that....that was a Negaverse agent. And a half-youma one at that.
A half-youma that was apparently in need of help, if Cosmos' words and what Lysithea was talking about were right. "I...okay." She took a deep breath, and nudged Elpis' side with a small smile. "Everyone deserves a chance, right?" Even Big Bad Chaos Auras.
Except maybe the lady with the lion-rug youma. Maybe.
Return to Destiny City? Something inside of her surged at the idea, and she wasn't sure if it was longing, hope or despair. It made her hesitate... the thought of waiting any longer. Her courage was a nebulous thing, fed more from desperation and need than desire... But then the world around her was shifting, falling away, and she felt weirdly... comforted. As though embraced. It ironically made her uncomfortable, or maybe just part of her.
Then they were in a park she vaguely remembered, the darkness familiar and cool. But they weren't alone.
Cinnabar's red-black eyes swept the group gathered around them and for an instant, she thought she had been betrayed. Her lips pulled back from her elongated fangs as her shoulders hunched, but the white woman was between them, blocking easy access. And after a moment, she realized the faces around them were as startled to see them as she was.
Only one of them recognized, and then only vaguely, from some battle she had participated in. She had an urge to smirk at her and say something snarky, seeing the way the dark haired girl looked at her, but the urge died as soon as it rose.
Antagonizing these people would not help her situation. Cosmos would not have brought her here if they weren't needed, which meant she in turn needed them. Still, a low, rumbling growl greeted the assembled senshi and behind her, she heard the grinding of armor as Gehenna shifted in place, reminding her that... at least she wasn't alone.
Slowly the General straightened, lifting her horned head with as much pride as she could still bring to bear, even with black veins bleeding from her eyes and scales creeping to overtake her skin. It took effort to keep her face neutral, though the frown could not be erased.
She left the introductions to Cosmos. It had been hard enough asking her for help.

Cosmos nodded gratefully to the Court before her. “You are appreciated.”
She turned just slightly from Cinnabar and gestured to the woman. “This is Cinnabar. She wishes to be freed of the Negaverse.” It was obvious enough, but it was the only introduction she made. It wasn’t just that she didn’t particularly know all the names of the Senshi in the Court, but rather the fact that this was something best left after Cinnabar was saved.
The purification could be strenuous, and at the end of the day Cosmos knew the toll it could take on the mind. There was no point for introductions that could be forgotten in only a moment, anyway.
The Court knew how to do this; they did not need further guidance. It was for Cinnabar that she explained, “They will help fix your starseed. Their power, and mine, will restore you. You will be healed,” she promised, “As long as you accept what we offer. As long as you want this. Take a breath and relax. This will take only a moment.”
Her voice was soft and soothing; she stayed near to Cinnabar and began to glow as power swelled around her.
Cosmos was ready for this. She was building her energy, focusing on Cinnabar.
Focusing on healing her.

Lysithea was honestly proud that none of her group had reacted…too badly. They hadn’t instigated a fight yet, so that was at least a little progress. Holding her hand out, she took Adria’s and glanced once more at her group, before turning her attention back to Cinnibar. “Don’t be afraid. We’ve done this before, and you’ll have all of us here when you’re better. We would love to help you out, if you need or want our help.”
Honestly, she wished there was more time to get to know this general, at least enough time to know her name, or do something to calm her fears…to know why she wanted to get out of the Negaverse…she didn’t seem like Evan had been, she wasn’t…fully a youma…so that…
She hoped that the result would be the same…but if Cosmos had brought her to them…obviously she thought it would work.
Concentrating, the senshi began to focus on the wand, focus on the power of her friends, of the other senshi that were there with her. When the wand began to glow again, she knew she was doing the right thing…but it felt different. There wasn’t that deep…emotional need that had driven her when it had been Evan…though this time…it was easier because she did sort of know what she was doing.
“We can help her, but I need you guys…so…let’s do this. Like Cosmos said, if she wants to be helped…this will work.”

Adria glanced at Lysithea as she spoke and drew in another calming breath. It wasn’t that he was intimidated or reluctant, not by any means—just that his mind had a habit of wandering. He knew what to expect when they did this; it wasn’t anything particularly straining, and it certainly wasn’t anything a good meal and rest couldn’t take care of. No, his concern stemmed from the monstrous pieces that grew out of the General before him. The knowledge that there were things that went bump in the night, the understanding that there were things out there that weren’t quite human and could hurt you—badly.
But then, he’d also been within an inch of his life the last time he’d really interacted with any General, and being before Cinnabar left him guarded and wary, even if he had Lysithea and the rest of the Court there. He felt guilty for thinking it might be some sort of trap and for constantly skimming the area for energy signatures. Cosmos was here; she was a wise old soul—at least, from what he could gather; certainly she wouldn’t fall for some ambush or trickery.
But Adria still feared it, and felt guilty for not just trusting the General or giving her the benefit of the doubt. He’d want to leave, if he was as affected by Chaos as she was. Other Generals had defected—even the one who had put him in the hospital.
He should have been more trusting, he should have been more eager to help instead of so paranoid that something bad was going to happen.
He forced a faint smile and nodded to Lysithea; the quicker they got on with this, the quicker they’d know her true intent.
Adria kept his eyes open, perhaps just slightly distracted still by fear, but began to focus his energy on the wand—on the Court. On Cinnabar.

Elpis was helping, mostly, for Lysithea. Bless that senshi but she was Too Good for this world. Too POure. While Elpis was unsettled and that was unsettling likely Subra (Was Forte also getting defensive?... Oops?) the senshi wasn't going to let personal opinion (that being 'GO AWAY LET ME BE) get in the way of her job - but if Adria looked asnxious.. Well, they'd see what was going to happen soon enough and if necissary, if Cosmos didn't fight, Elpis was well prepared to protect the others if needed - but she hoped it wasn't, and she focused on what to do.
Healing Evan had been task number one as a Court, after cleaning up their space -- and so Elpis had a better grasp of how to do things now. This time -- this time she was able to focus on her court and the wand and simply the task at hand, taking Adria's hand and shutting her eyes to focus (plus, dramatics were fun), and held a hand out to Forte and Subra -- a ghesture of 'Let's just do this and then we're getting chocolate or something' way... Because Elpis was going to need both a good meal, and a bit of help sorting out how to feel after this. For now though, work.

Well, since everyone was willing, Forte was too. It was as simple as that - and really, who could complain about a new potential ally? Maybe not a friend; who knew what this person would be like after it all was done, but.... one less chaos agent out there. One less really powerful chaos agent, at that.
She nodded, accepting Elps' hand and reaching out with her other. If they were going to do this... best to do it quickly. There really wasn't any point in drawing it out when there was work to be done afterward, too. Work... and maybe coffee. Or hot chocolate, that sounded damn good right about now. But all that aside, it was time to focus.
It was growing easier to do that, she realized in a distant sort of way: to focus on what mattered in the moment, rather than her thoughts. Like a fight, but... not. Purer, somehow. Soothing. Maybe it was from helping people...?
It was only a distant thought, however, and one soon pushed aside and forgotten as her focus narrowed fully to the three things that mattered right now.
Wishes to be freed of the Negaverse... She supposed it was true enough, though the idea gave her a twinge.
Freed of responsibility. Freed of her accomplishments, her relationships, everything she had built and earned... But alive. Breathing, thinking, human...
Red-black eyes shifted to the woman in white and Cin's mouth tightened, mixing determination with trepidation for a confusing slurry of feelings.
"Relax..." She rasped with a huff of gallows humor. "Easy to say when you aren't the one being physically ripped apart..."
They surrounded her and the general stood stiffly, her hands flexing claws she'd worn for years now. The tail that felt as much a part of her as an arm or leg flicked and she'd long forgotten the weight of her horns. The glow made her stiffen and her breath come faster, but she straightened herself up, pulling to her full height and something inside of her suddenly settled.
There is no going back now. This is my path. Whatever comes, comes. I will survive. I will recover. I am stronger than the loss.
The energy felt like a towering wall, closing in, and she turned abruptly to cast a glance at the one person not glowing, the one she wanted most to hold onto through this. Ghen's face looked tight with the same anxiety that ate at her and she branded it into her mind, holding to it with a strangle grip. Her memories would pay the price, but this... him... she wanted to remember.
Kam...
The light descended, wrapped around her, sank inwards reaching for something... and she gasped as she felt it take her. Warmth blossomed, surging outwards, running down the lines of veins to burn at her fingertips. Cinnabar resisted the instinctive fear of it, even as it came with a comfort she was unused to, but it wasn't until the mental grip she held began to loosen that panic flared, just for a moment. Threads began to unravel, trailing off into the void and as Cinnabar threw back her head, she felt the last delicate pieces come apart, swallowed by the light.
Kam!
-------
Everything she was, everything she had been, burned away. Ariel, the rich man's daughter, Ariel the dealer's girlfriend, the bounty hunter. Cinnabar the officer, the general, the devotee.
Everything she was, the light took, and in it's place a flame flickered to life, small but burning brightly. Pure, clean, new and unfettered.
When the light faded abruptly, the woman left staggered, gasping in something not quite pain as she pressed golden gauntlets to her dark hair, streaked in red. Her dark brows furrowed as she looked up with clear red eyes, clean of black, and her armor shone, a lion snarling on her chest.
There were questions in her eyes as she dropped her hands, clenched to fists, and she swept the area with confusion, searching the faces around her.
"Who are you?" She snapped.

Cosmos watched the transformation with knowing eyes; her expression did not change during the process, and yet at the end there was a light that seemed to glow a little brighter in her eyes, even if she seemed a bit more tired.
She gave the woman before her a moment to collect herself before she answered, “Friends. Who will help however they can while you adjust to things.”
Cinnabar may not be standing before them anymore, but Cosmos knew no other name by which to address her. This woman, this Knight, would find her name and come into it, just as she would come into herself in the process.
“Are you all right?”
It wasn’t uncommon for the effort of a purification to be exhausting for all parties, but Cosmos asked anyway. She had never made a mistake, but purifying the youma out of someone was something that was new, even to her.

It was like when they helped Evan. Their strength, all together as one, helping someone who had been tainted by the war in one of the worst sorts of ways. Who needed their help. Because no one was too far gone to help if they wanted it. And by the way everything seemed to...seemed to shift when they all concentrated and put their hearts into focusing together on their wand...
Suddenly there was a rather large Order aura and no longer a Chaos one. And the woman before them couldn't be anything but a Knight. She gave the woman a smile edged in the tiredness that came from putting in so much energy.
"I'm Chibi Sailor Subra! As the pale lady said, we're friends. Well, we can be, if you'd like us to be!"
