Isabella Kiyoshi Squad 4 Soldier Isabella's ears shifted as she felt something shift in the air. She looked around and after a while, found that the lava lord had vanished. It wouldn't take long after he vanished that the infection would leave the female lycanthrope's body, the glow leaving her eyes as black flakes began to come from her hair, leaving it a snow white. She looked herself over as she turned off her shikai as she hid in the nearby forest for a bit. She was glad she kept her clothing when the infection ended, but that was shortlived as she noticed the arrancars nearby.
She would blink and look around as a city grew around her. She looked around as she kept an eye on where Claudia, the kid and Chisa were as she looked for a way to get back to Soul Society, not sure if she was able to make a senkaimon gate within the area. She blinked as her ears shifted down when she found Yuu's body though, and after kicking it lightly figured she was either dead or unconscious. Her attention would be drawn to a cero attack, and would use flash step to get out of the blast zone as it struck, commenting "oh s**t" under her breath as a large explosion went off. She thought a bit as she looked around, and would use her zanpakuto to open a senkaimon gate as she stabbed the air, a purple glow signalling it worked before a door opened. When it was wide enough, she would dash in and take a breath as it slammed shut, leaving her in the void as two hell butterflies floated to greet her. Her ears would shift as she saw the guides, and followed them at a light jog as she made her way home. [-exit-]
Claudia listened attentively as the third espada explained that the girl was one of her former fraccion, and she was trying to protect her belongings. It was understandable. Chisa remained on the defensive as Claudia continued to strike out. However once the dust settled, Claudia seemed to have calmed down. "It is understandable, fraccion can be a tricky thing to control. Perhaps it is best, more useful ones can be found." she would say with a slight curtsy. Claudia would know from watching her own former leader, Ronan, cutting down those who refused to be obedient. It pained her to remember his loss, but the wolf would soon have what was coming to him. It was then that she noticed that the little boy was surprisingly still alive, questioning her attendance at the playground. The child neither denied the claim, and had never heard of deductive reasoning. It was then that the child would throw a cero at the hidden shinigami. The little shinigami would soon escape the area. It was a regrettable loss, but it seemed nothing could be done. "You're still alive? I suppose even I make mistakes, but it is something that can be fixed." The little girl's demon arms were still in presence and awaiting their Empress's command. Golden eyes would glance back to the third espada. "Is this one yours too?" she would question a little playfully. The second espada did not forget that Chisa had only claimed the girl. "I only wanted retribution. You're free to go, unless you want to continue our quarrel." Her attention was back on the unfortunate survivor., with a wave of her hand another arm would attack the child. In the same fashion as before an arm would attempt to gut the child with its long claw like phalanges.

“I must admit, this is the first time I have met this boy,” Chisa said as she crossed her arms over her chest and watched the fight continue. “He seems…. Interesting. Perhaps we can…. Come to an arrangement? You killed one of my Fraccion…I do not know if she was even involved in this destruction or not. Let the boy live and the next time you see him, he’ll know not to mess with you or your property. He’ll be a hollow worth fighting by your side then against you.” Chisa didn’t expect much. The little tyrant did destroy the playground after all and even if Chisa did get involved again, she no longer held the strength or the speed. She noticed right away that her movements were sluggish and she felt like strength nearly gone. How the child was still even able to fight was a mystery to her. Then there was the Shinigami that was hidden. Chisa didn’t forget it was there and if her power wasn’t draining, she could have dealt with her. No worries. One day she will and when that day came…
“Needless to say, I do want this boy,” Chisa would go on to say. “He has potential. With some training, he would make a great ally.”

Golden eyes darted back to the third espada as she requested the boy. The eyes would linger with eye contact, and the little girl would glare daggers into the more mature woman. Nevertheless the little girl would continue to listen. Even if the little girl devoured the boy, it was not like assets would be wasted. There was no doubt that the boy was powerful, but he was indeed untrained. It also seemed that he was indeed immature and lacked reason. Claudia would wave her arm and the arm that was en route for the little boy would cease to exist. The city would slowly disappear. "If it is an arrangement you want, It is as arrangement you shall get." she would spit out. It was indeed clear that Claudia was not happy with the further interference, but there was something she wanted. "I want my play ground back to the way it was, not a single attraction out of place. It should be fixed just as creepy and abandoned as it was before." she would explain her terms. "If it is not the way I demand it upon my return, both of you will pay my price." It was not a threat, it was a promise that she would fulfill. "Oh and don't think it is beneath me to hunt the two of you down. So hurry along and fix it." With that she would leave the area, there was something else she wanted done anyway. If this arrangement was not made it would have left her to fix it herself.

Musabori Kuu Shifuto
Reitsu 50 | Speed 10 | Strength 10 | Defense 8 | Stamina 6 | Intelligence 6 | Spiritual Power 10 Musabori lounges on the top of the rusty brightly colored jungle gym in the abandoned, supposedly haunted playground. The noonday sun sits high and bright in the sky. The fact that this whole neighborhood is abandoned and condemned makes it a great place for someone to hide out in. He looks out at the plumes of smoke rising from various parts of the city and smiles. Soon, he will be hopefully be able to cause destruction like that. He relaxes against the rusted bars, pulling a fresh orange out of one of his jacket pockets and starts to slowly eat it.

Kuro"Black Angel"Tenshi --:: Blank ::--
The Black Angel descended on the haunted playground from a void in the sky. The strange spirit entity feeling like something, yet nothing all at the same time as she appeared. Her silver hair swayed in the wind slightly until she landed at the top of a rickety, and rusted slide. Upon touching the metal, memories flooded through her, causing her to wince in pain behind the blindfold. It happened like this sometimes, the memories flooding her senses and showing her horrific visions of the past, present, and future. It was a wonder she had become so well constructed in comparison to the white bodied, pink-headed formless ghosts that inhabited the Valley she hailed from.
Upon looking down the degraded metal chute, she felt the happy memories of children playing in this place at one time. Families enjoying each other's company. Parents teaching life lessons that would mold their young from an early age into adults they would become in time. Yet, the reality set in that now this place was desolate, dead, and cold. No new memories were forged here in happiness. Those days seemed to have been long passed, as evidenced by the graffiti and disrepair around her. "Down we go...", she said quietly as the black robed woman looked up at the sun in the sky.
It was uncharacteristically bright for such a dark individual, but upon hearing the crunch and sound of eating, she instinctively reached for her blade. The sound of eating made her think in response to a possible predator. Hollow? No...The spirit energy felt off for one of the monsters her memories had witnessed. It was certainly a mortal, a living being. It was then she took notice of Musabori on the other side of the playground. Her veiled eyes looked over in his direction before she tilted her head curiously. Living beings were constantly making memories. Full of insight and knowledge and an ever-expanding sense of being. It was this that drew Kuro to people like this individual. In the reality of the situation, she was a parasite, living off the experiences of others while trying to find her own existence. A futile search for all eternity as she subsisted as a broken picture of what was supposed to be a perfect afterlife.
Kuro put her blade away. She wasn't even sure the strange man could even see her, given she was a spirit being. It was best not to alert him to her presence as she stared off toward the burning city. She had no idea what was causing the destruction, but whatever it was, felt like it was powerful. Too powerful for her to brave venturing in to see just what awaited her possibly. Then the feeling of pain and sorrow swept over her as a memory of a burning village came over her. The smell of the smoke, the taste of the ash in the air, the feeling of blood running down her face, and the anguish of loss. A single tear fell down her cheek from behind the blind-fold. It was not her own, just some other memory's tears.
"Zhè zuò chéngshì zài rénlèi zuì'è de zhòng yā xià ránshāo. Zhànzhēng, pòhuài hé móushā shì tāmen láodòng de chéngguǒ.", she said simply. Chinese being her preferred language, sometimes it was hard to understand her, though her English was only enough that had been given to her in memories. A rough translation might lead one to know she meant something close to 'The city is burning under the weight of human sin. War, destruction, and murder are the fruits of their labor.'. It almost seemed like a poem, or something that might have come from one. In truth, the memories of a seventeenth century Chinese poet were in those that she had adapted and taken from another Blank. They were close enough to the memories of Lea Lee, herself, that stealing them away was easy.
Now... the man over across from her; what memories did they have that she could use to become more whole? Her attention had now shifted back to Musabori, and she stared eerily at him as if deciding whether or not to strike out against him. Every fiber of her instinct told her to strike, take his memories, and assimilate them into herself. However, he had a strange arm, and his spirit energy left her unsure of if he were an Aware or Unaware mortal. There were dangers of being too hasty, and fortunately, she had enough sense about her to behave with some sentience and less like a primeval creature like her lesser evolved kin.
The previous night, the city didn't feel any different from usual. It was the same as always, full of annoying people going about their lives. Ryuko found herself short of money yet again and resorted to finding some from someone else. She often targeted drunk salarymen as they were easy to subdue and rob without much fuss. It was a good way to stay out of trouble and remain anonymous. Once she had the police on her case, that would be the end of these carefree days. After an inebriated fool was chosen, they would be shadowed in the dark of night, free to stumble about until there were little to no other people around. Then, when the moment presented itself, the predator struck! A simple blow to the back of the head was enough to fell a grown man, at least for this assailant. Dainty hands would frisk the poor drunkard until they found a wallet to rifle through. She only took enough for it not to seem like a robbery; the less suspicion, the better. Perhaps not the smartest knife in the drawer, but this tactic has kept Ryuko out of trouble thus far. Keeping food in her stomach and having a decent place to rest her head was more than worth it for her.
Thus, the following morning, when she left the shabby motel, she was at a loss of how to spend her time for the day. The feeling of wandering about aimlessly, day in and day out- what she’d kill to have something disturb this peace! Her selfish wish came true… Ryuko was only grateful she was not in the vicinity of the explosion that wiped out a decent portion of the city. As a result, things became more hectic, but she didn’t like that any more than the norm. The pushing in the crowds and panicked murmurings that buzzed in her ear, it was all too much! If that wasn’t enough to sour her mood, the Hollows decided to attack the city in numbers. Were they adequate to this degree- to take advantage of the chaos from the explosion? Perhaps the girl had underestimated the beasts. But those monsters only wound up making the annoying situation all the more irritating. She had half a mind to kill them, although Ryuko resorted to seeking a place away from all the trouble. This is what brought the young lady to the abandoned playground.
Her locks of gold fluttered in the light breeze; her perturbed expression clear on her face. Given her current state of emotion, she would fail to notice the presence of others at first. Ryuko was just pissed about being shoved to the ground by the running masses and dropping her meat skewer. “Stupid! Just so....stupid!” a growl passed her lips as her bright ruby eyes locked on to a nearby rocking horse. It was in bad shape, like the rest of the park, covering in grime and the wear of time. Sucking her teeth, the bronze skinned woman gave the device a swift kick that it could not withstand. The rusted springs would give way to the force, causing it to snap and go skipping along the ground. Ryuko crossed her arms and shook her head from side to side, somewhat calming down after destroying something. Then the other inhabitants of the area would come into view: a hooded man of a tall and wide build and a woman with lustrous short silver hair who wore a blindfold. Both dressed in black, like herself, and stood a good distance away from each other. What was going on here? Who were they and why did the woman have a sword on her? Good question that would go unanswered until she spoke up. “Hey. Where are y’all from?” Ryuko asked, speaking to neither of them specifically. Aside from their appearances here at this abandoned place, something about them was familiar. Was this...Hollow reiatsu?
Reitsu 50 | Speed 10 | Strength 10 | Defense 8 | Stamina 6 | Intelligence 6 | Spiritual Power 10 Musabori looks down as the newcomers both speak. A strange woman in a strange outfit, blindfold, and openly carrying a sword. That is definitely not a normal person, but doesn’t look like one of those left behind souls. The chain is missing and those always looked, well different. Anguished and in pain. This one looked emotionless. And over there is a bronze skinned woman with pale hair who had just kicked and broke one of the rusted rocking horses. She looked like she had just come from the rest of the city given the level of distress, though he wonders what has her so angry. In response to these two newcomers, he uses his feet and left elbow to push off of the jungle gym, giving a jump and landing in front of it, his right arm – the blade – being held out to the side as he lands. Glancing at the blindfolded one briefly, he turns to the one who asked the question. He gestures around them with his right arm at the condemned and abandoned neighborhood. “From here. And nice kick. Been thinking of wrecking that, but you beat me to it.” He looks her over, curious now. “So what are the two of you doing here? Strange place to visit, with it being haunted, condemned, and just unsafe in general.” He takes a bite of his orange when he finishes speaking.

"I am dead...", Kuro responded with plainly as she looked over to the two. "I came from a land beyond the stars. A place where the dead are cleansed in preparation for Heaven.", she added. It was the only way she knew how to refer to the Valley of Screams. Kuro seemed otherwise quiet in the few moments as the Blank seemed to pause in her explanation, as if to verify the facts were indeed real.
In reality, the Valley of Screams was an anomaly in the Soul Cycle. A place that existed, but at the same time, did not, or would not rather if it were not for some interference that caused some of the cleansed souls to get lost along the way to the Soul Society during soul burial. Kuro was one of these very souls that never made it to her heaven, instead, trapped in the purgatory of never knowing who or what you were. Not really at least.
Her silver hair seemed to sway with a breeze as she jumped from the top of the slide, down to inspect Ryuko curiously. Kuro had already analyzed Musabori, but the energy from the newcomer seemed more intense. Maybe this one would have more memories to share with Kuro? That was the thought process going on in the Blank's mind, a never-ending desire to be whole and complete. It was without these memories that left her feeling a void. Kuro then let out a startled gasp as she seemed to have remembered that most people perform introductions. "I am nobody, but the others in the void called me 'The Black Angel', before hungrily chasing me for my memories...what made me more complete than them. So, I guess you can call me Kuro.", the silver haired enigma explained as if it were just fact.
When the man stepped forth, or leapt forth, Ryuko was taken aback for a moment when she saw his bladed appendage. What the hell was that? What the hell was he? Though, now it was clear that Hollow energy she felt was coming solely from him. Was he a Hollow or...was he like her? Well she certainly didn't have anything that strange or unusual protruding from her body nor would she want it. Yet, despite his intimidating appearance that would frighten most people, Ryuko hadn't flinched. Perhaps it was due to the fact she had already sized him up and didn't feel she should worry. But the young lady was also not easily shaken anymore, past experience making her brave and bold in the face of danger. Back to her question, the man explained that he lived here in this...abandoned, haunted and dangerous neighborhood. "Seems like the perfect place to get away from people, so here I am" she replied with a shrug. This stranger was definitely...different, but nothing too extraordinary from anything encountered before. The Hollow came in many forms and sized- gnarly beasts that constantly tried to steal a bite.
But somehow...Miss Blindfold was somehow even weirder than the guy with a giant knife for an arm. Ryuko had not a clue what she was talking about, aside from the part about being dead. It wouldn't be the first time she met a spirit, but this one was...bizarre. Not quite a shinigami, she was distinct in that regard. That and she didn't try to immediately kill her, so there was that working for Miss Blindfold too. Though she got closer, it didn't seem like she meant any harm...it was just a little uncomfortable being stared at like that. This particular treatment was nothing out of the ordinary for Ryuko, but she still did not care for it. Before something could be said, the short haired woman suddenly piped up. It was quite the introduction, though rather than making a big deal about it, the blonde opted to just go with it. "Then you can call me Ryuko. Huh. So monsters try to eat you too? Sucks doesn't it?" the girl smirked, making light of the horrific concept they were subjected to.
Reitsu 50 | Speed 10 | Strength 10 | Defense 8 | Stamina 6 | Intelligence 6 | Spiritual Power 10 “Monsters? You mean those creatures that occasionally show up? Never been a problem for me, they tend to be easy to take out, and if I can’t, it is easy to lose them in these streets.” He says as he faces Ryuko. He laughs, but it isn’t a friendly laugh. He takes another large bite of the orange. He then turns to the blindfolded lady. “The Black Angel? Kind of pretentious don’t you think? Although you do wear a lot of black, you don’t look like much of an angel. Missing some wings and a halo.” He says it in a mocking tone, but he keeps a serious eye on the sword she carries.

Kuro"Black Angel"Tenshi --:: Blank ::--
Kuro tilted her head at the two as she interacted with them. It was confusing to her how two strangers could seem so familiar with one another. Was there something they had in common with each other that Kuro did not share with them? Maybe it was the fact that the pair both felt like Hollow, even though they were clearly mortals and capable of giving her many precious memories with which to fill her own void. It was a strange anomaly, but nothing as strange as she was. It was a simple fact that as far as strange went, the two would have probably looked silly talking to Kuro had any unaware beings passed by, for she would be invisible. This all due to the fact that she was, as a matter of truth, dead. "Angels have appendages that I lack? Maybe I had them, but I forgot?", she asked curiously. Musa had pointed something out to Kuro that might have just made a memory unintentionally. She was a Blank, and at this stage of her development, very impressionable.
It took every ounce of power to resist reaching out and placing a hand to her new acquaintance's foreheads, taking their memories and leaving them unaware of who or what they were, just as she had been at one point. Kuro was, by nature, driven to become whole again. Still, something kept her from attacking. It was a sentience or self-awareness she had not had before her transformation from her ghost-like form of the lesser Blank into this more pronounced soul. Then Ryuko asked her about monsters and those who were trying to eat her. "If you speak of Hollow, they are a threat, but a threat to me are like me...Those with no memories of who they were and are just stuck in the land beyond the stars, awaiting purification, and hopefully to move on to Heaven.", she explained pointedly to the blonde girl.
The truth of everything was that Kuro was nobody, or well, rather was becoming a Nobody. A creature with no heart or soul, and full of false memories. A creation of tragedy and unfortunate circumstance, but perhaps of use to those who wielded the darkness. Surely, as impressionable as she was in this base form, she might actually adapt to regard Musabori and Ryuko as her first 'friends'. Though, friends to Kuro at this point was quite the foreign concept. Even an evolved Blank still had the drive for memories, and when these two stopped giving her new memories, then her instinct would take over and she would attempt to take theirs for her own... unless of course she finished her transformation before then.
Ryuko was not shy to admit the creatures gave her problems at times, especially in numbers. Like the Hollow invading the city now- she could sense they were not that weak and could potentially kill her if she was careless. Why were they so interested in her, she had not a clue. Maybe it had to do with her energy being like theirs. Mr.Knife-arm started laughing, about what eluded her so she didn’t pay it much attention. However, she didn't expect him to take Kuro's epithet so literally. Then again, maybe he was onto something… Shinigami were angels of death and she wasn't that far off in appearance. The black clothing and sword, as well as being a spirit would make her a dead ringer for one. Even the blindfolded woman didn't seem entirely sure if that was the case, except she also seemed to take it in the literal sense. Her explanation on this made it seem less than likely. It sounded like people like her were trying to consume her or something. "...Are you sure you're not a shinigami with amnesia or something?" Ryuko quizzed. This stuff about a "land beyond the stars" sounded a teensy bit like crazy talk. She, personally, could not make heads or tails of it- if she wasn’t a Hollow or a shinigami, what was she?
“Well I guess it doesn’t matter... I only came out here until the heat died down or whenever those Hollow stop their rampage” she huffed. Scanning the park, there wasn’t much to do here, let alone a proper place to sit. Even the benches had suffered from the elements of nature and did not look too comfortable for seating. Ryuko would find the swing set and walk over to it, checking to see how structurally sound it was. One was already broken, but at least the other seemed safe enough to sit on. There was no way to know for sure, so she sat down anyway; a slight creaking noise as did. Fortunately, it held together, but she still kept a firm grip on the chains and refrained from moving too much. She wondered how to spend her time, after all, she couldn’t spend all day here, right?
Reitsu 50 | Speed 10 | Strength 10 | Defense 8 | Stamina 6 | Intelligence 6 | Spiritual Power 10 He chuckles at Kuro’s question. “I was saying that it was arrogant of you to call yourself an angel, not that you are one. I don’t know what you are, and what you are is none of my business. Angel, ghost, demon, monster, doesn’t matter much to me. Or if you are a Shinigami or Hollow, whatever those are, that she mentioned.” He says the last part while gesturing towards Ryuko with his right arm. He seems to take the things Kuro says in stride, less as if he believes them and more as if it doesn’t matter whether they are or not. “What is going on in the rest of the town? I can see the smoke and such from here, but beyond that I don’t know anything. You mentioned an increase in the attacks of those monsters?” He asks as he turns to Ryuko. His eyes light up at the prospect of talking about destruction and death, and his left hand closes and opens in eagerness.

Kuro looked up to the sky. She was not blind, so much as the blind-fold was part of her eyes. Mostly, because she had not remembered what her own eyes looked like, or what she thought they might. The clouds she thought were such, were indeed smoke from the city burning in the distance. The feeling of spirits wandering aimlessly from their bodies and the Hollow being attracted to them caused her skin to tingle. This was not normal, and Earth was certainly in trouble, similar to the spirit energy she had felt back home in the Valley of Screams. "I sense pain and suffering all around us. People struggling to hold on to life, and death embracing many. Can you two not feel the powerful spirit energy coming from the epicenter?", Kuro asked bluntly as she pointed to the direction of Central Karakura Town. "Memories are being made there. Horrible ones. Probably best to just stay away and not get involved.", she suggested. It seemed like there might be some insight, and wisdom behind the way the silver haired Blank spoke. It was evident by her calm tone that there was no fear in her voice, but instead, pragmatism.
Kuro did not really have much of love for the concepts of good or evil, at least how they were defined by a general consensus. She was more concerned with survival and personal growth. Though, that might seem selfish, it was part of being something beyond Human. Actually, as a Blank, she was probably just the condensed and purest form of the Human primeval instinct of survival and a desire for meaning. It was like always reaching out with a hand to the light, but always out of reach, leading to the eternal struggle to find meaning for this existence. "Are you two heroes in this world? Will we hang back and remain safe, or do you feel a calling to run into the flames? I care not your choice. You two seem interesting enough, I've decided to follow you for a while.", she said plainly after a moment of thought. Kuro's body language indicated she was purely neutral at this point, but her tone betrayed her obvious curiosity and interest in Musa and Ryuko.
