Lawrence resisted the desire to cringe at the other two men, disliking everything about this situation but by now well aware that neither of them would ever really get along. Rodney was a gentle and friendly person but he was anything but a pushover. Lawrence had hoped putting him next to Melvin he would soften up into that gentleness and win the other man over, dreaming that they could have some perfect life.
All he’d learned was that Rodney was gentle and friendly but with principles like iron, wholly capable of freezing someone out who he didn’t like or trust. He expressed his irritation and dissatisfaction with the situation every single day in every single thing he did, carefully avoiding Melvin and avoiding interaction, wholly of the opinion that Melvin wanted nothing but the worst for all of them. He wasn’t surprised Rodney was relieved, but it still bothered him to see all of it.
“It is very complicated on all sides.” He volunteered with a concerned frown.

"No, it's simple," Rodney sighed, "He was wronged, by you, and by me, and even giving an eye for an eye, there's no resolution. I won't ask anymore."
Melvin didn't have any obligation to be civil with him, even as civil as he'd pretended to be. Rodney wouldn't have an obligation to interact at all with Melvin, except for the housemate situation, which was being somewhat resolved.

"Well then, I'll be scouting for a lot soon and start working on building. In the meantime, I'll stay here. My dorm is still destroyed from the horsemen attacks. If you have any questuons or concerns you can talk to me." This point was mainky directed at Lawr. He doubted Rodnwy wanted so much as a word with him and Melvin was clear he had few for him. He coukd be civil, but Rodney showing any concern for his wellbeing was downright insulting.
"Lawr, do you still havw the cobtacts on your phone from when we build the house? I'll be needing those."

Lawrence nodded. "I still have the contacts yes, I'll get them for you, anything you need while moving I can help with I will. Unable to offer money of course given my ongoing situation." A situation that was going to be going on for a very long time.
"I'm sure it won't take long once you find somewhere you fancy to get it liveable. Big loud and red has been helping to get some houses repaired too for the organisation hasn't he?"
