Manu truly felt distressed that Bazzite had to leave so soon, but at least the youma was gentle and told him what was happening. He knew that he was going to slip back into that feral mode, and he wanted to keep the page safe. To Manu, Bazzite felt even more human than when he first met him, and there was no doubt in his mind that somehow, that part of him could be what came first one day…

For now, there was nothing at all he could do. He could only watch the youma bolt away into the trees, the sounds of his movements slowly fading into the background then completely out of range. While he knew that Bazzite was likely to go off and hurt someone,he did nothing to stop it… And for a moment he thought that that inaction made him a horrible person… But he was weak right now, weak enough that any protest he tried to give at this time would land him devoured by the new friend he had made… Atleast he thought they were friends…

Maybe while he continued his patrol this evening, he could find someone with the information he so desperately wanted. To know how to bring a youma back into being a human… Because he KNEW something could reverse this.. Somehow. Maybe not on his own but…. He wasn’t about to give up.
