It was just a one night fling anyways. It wasn't even anything he was ashamed of so he couldn't tell if it was working or not. "A truth ring hum? Sounds useful for investigations."They had been sucked into a dream world and then dropped to fight a giant centipede and were now marooned on an island by a giant squid. Clyde was up to believing anything at the moment. "I'm Clyde Pierce. Moon trainee." he didn't have any fancy title but he suspected Roswell wasn't used to being outdoors much. "So... I'm batman. and I'm fighting this giant monster, by myself mind you, and it's really cool and I have a bunch of cool gadgets..." he let out an awkward laugh. "So nothing too unusual right?" Now he was starting to wonder if it was working.

Lysander wasn't expecting the ring to work, he'd been to plenty of camps and plenty of self help programs and a lot of them had had this concept, a conch, a stick or something that was meant to give people the self confidence to speak about things. They didn't compel people to tell the truth.
When Roswell went on to say some truly scandalous things his eyebrows went up and he audibly gasped. "Ros." he said scoldingly. "Not appropriate." But at the very least he softened at the other answer. It had felt like everyone had blamed him for what happened, as if all the world had felt that it was inevitable that his wife would leave him for ever.
But he couldn't shake off the other things he'd said. "And I've told you horses aren't scary."

Roswell absolutely could not believe Clyde's ultimate fantasy was being a superhero.
"Living the dream," he said flatly, wishing the island had been fitted with a minibar.

America's question also got a forced answer, although at this point Roswell's face was bright red.
"Nothing!" He said, "as I'm sure everyone here can surmise, the pittance we are supposed to be receiving from this organisation has been suspended, most likely because they are scam artists, and since Lysander doesn't have access to his accounts I have received absolutely no money since we arrived. My previous annual salary was approximately 150,000$ with gifts and bonuses and so on, although of course my hours included 24/7 availability."
He finished definitively, not looking at Lysander, "Horses are terrifying."

Mik positively beamed at America, it was a question that was easy to answer and sprung forth without even needing to think about it. "All of them!" he said. "I like all of them because they are all a part of your mood, a part of you, they are a word that says how you feel, how you want to be seen or how you are. They are something you chose so all of them are cute because you are. I don't need to choose because every time you put one on it's newly the best one you've ever worn."
And he nodded, not at odds with what he'd said.

"Have you already confessed to Lysander before these thoughts and if not, why haven't you?" It might have been bad to have a guy who loved questioning play this game. Lysander AMA"What are some things you do hate about horses?" He said. Clyde AMA"Who are the people you want to bang on Deus Ex if you could screw anyone without any negative outcomes?" He asked. It was a classic truth and dare question. Noah AMA "What's the name of your favorite porno?" Melvin asked, knowing what titles he let Noah borrow.
