Her shield snapped out and yet it did nothing, the blade twisted, and it swung hard though the shield didn't crack the wall Sammy slammed into did. She let out a startled cry for a moment as the impact stunned her leaving her dazed even as the shadow swiftly turned to the stranger who had joined her. For a moment she was quiet, her sword and shield barely in her hands before suddenly vanishing and all the bluster the ghoul could manage was simply gone as she remained crumpled in the wall. "I will find you again"She shivered hard dwelling on those words, instead she spoke, "You alive?" she asked simply. The sickle hit, and hit hard, and he yelped, hurting badly but alive. He crumpled against the wall for a long moment, but when the unknown zombie spoke, he looked up and blinked, quietly, and then nodded. "Mostly. I ache in places I never knew I could ache before, but I'm alive... And I think I can heal myself, if needed, soon. Are... you ok? Do you need any healing?" He only had his cards, but he was willing to share, if some one else needed them. They'd do better working together. He paused, looked down at himself and grimaced, then added "Also I could really use a shower and some clean clothes, but I doubt I'll find anything worth trusting here." He then blinked, realized he hadn't given his name, and said "I'm Anepou, Anepou Sah..."

She waved a hand of bone dismissing his offer easily, "You need it more, you look.... young." She blinked a bit focusing her hollow eyes. The purple flames focusing a bit harder to lock onto his face. She slowly hauled herself up from the wall running her fingers through her two toned. She couldn't help but chuckle as he lamented a bath and clean clothes, her own black jacket looking rather tattered at the moment. She turned her head towards him, "Samantha Lee, most people call me Sammy." She turned offering her right hand to shake; made of far more flesh then her chard left bone one. "Thank you, for trying to help."

He blinked, and wondered if he should be offended about looking young, then shrugged it off in his head. "I suppose I am, I haven't exactly been at school long." He sighed, and closed his eyes for a moment, before opening them back up. "Does this kind of... Insanity... happen that often?" He took her hand, however, with no qualms, and shook it. He was already dirty, so there was no point in asking if she'd washed it recently. Germs were something he HAD to cope with here. Which isn't to say he would expect germs from zombies, at least not more then he does from anyone. "Of course... I couldn't leave you to face... whatever the hell that was... alone." He shuddered. "These shadows are awful."

Compared to her, he was somewhat younger, and clearly in his first year of classes. "I've been around the school a while. A long while at this point." She started to glance around the room clear of shadows now frowning a bit. "More then you're going to like." She admitted as they shook hands. Hands shook she started to wander the lobby of the head quarters a bit more. "Some fragment of a hunter." She flexed her hand a bit, "I'm not sure who that last one was. And that worries me." Her purple burning eyes flickered at him, "I'd suggest not lingering here. If another shows up I can only hold it off so long. And I need to find something, a way out." She frowned the voices echoing on the edge of her mind again. You killed themShe didn't want his blood on her hands right now, not with words like that still lingering inside her still.

"I... well that's..." He didn't know how to phrase it, then finally he said "Good to know, in the sense of 'Knowledge is good to have', if not good to have be a thing..." He looked unnerved, but he closed his eyes, and nodded. "I'll face what comes." At her suggestion, he winced, and nodded. "Good luck... I haven't had any myself..." He pulled himself away from the wall, and exited, stage right. Or at least through a door to the right, his eyes scanning the path in front of him.

Sammy shrugged, “Better to be aware and somewhat prepared than caught off guard when it does happen,” she said offering it as it was the only advice she could really give at this point. There was, however, a small smile when he admitted to facing it when the time comes. That was an attitude she could support. The slight flex of his shoulders, the way he winced as he walked away left her feeling somewhat guilty. Even so she moved to where the figure had vanished, a small crown of flowers lingering on the ground. She brushed her fingers over it feeling something shift as they vanished. She wasn’t sure what it was, but it felt like, a second chance? She couldn’t describe it. Moving forward she climbed the stairs of the lobby heading upwards following signs indicating the Death Division was above on the 2nd floor. She was moving down a hall when the light bounced of something tucked part way into a corner under a misplaced desk. Behind the mirror is none other than the Amityville Academy as it actually should have been. It confirms that you are trapped within this dream, as you look closer to the mirror. Examining it reveals it is just a mirror, and shattering it well-
- After a while it rebuilds itself. You are stuck here.
The mirror shifts. You can see that the school turn into a massive cage, larger than you've ever seen. How did you get here? What is this cage? You can't see anything but the cage on the other side.
Lifting up the mirror she was greeted with a familiar site, it was home. She pressed her fingers against it, but nothing happened, she flipped it over running her hands around the smooth edges. Nothing. She frowned as the longer she watched the more the image shifted a cage wrapping around the school around her life. The question of how she got to where she was suddenly welling up inside her again. She growled slamming the mirror on the desk only to have it break into three solid chunks. Even then she could see fragments of the school, the cage, all lingering in the parts as they slowly slid back together, the crack melting back into solid reflection. With a scowl she collected the mirror tucking it into her jacket before moving to continue exploring the seemingly abandoned hunter complex. Trying carefully to ignore the fact that Abandoned wasn’t the right term with shadows lingering around capable of killing her.
