She totally could. Riley slid up out of the water, and gave Haddy a tiny, mischievous smile. At least she was more awake now.

Haddy had to return that smile, eyes rolling, but it came with a soft kiss on the forehead, the Moon bending double to reach her.
"Done being difficult now?". She could wait.

"This is a trick question." She sighed out, sitting up a bit more. "When I am difficult, your reactions are pleasant. Therefore, logically I will never stop being difficult. But I will not actively hinder your attempts to clean me, either. Is that a suitable compromise?" She had a way with words, terrible and complicated as it was. All she'd really said, in her own way, was; never. Putting Riley in a bath had activated BratMD mode.

Haddy have an amused, knowing sort of him as Riley say up a little straighter. "I suppose it's acceptable." It was likely the best she was going to get anyways.
Leaning around, she offer Riley the soap and the washcloth. "You start scrubbing and I'll get your hair, okay?" From experience Haddy knew how wonderful it felt to be pampered. Riley worked to hard, so a little TLC would be just the thing.

She took the soap and washcloth, lathered it up, and immediately got to work. She did so in silence, even if she did twist her body to give Haddy better access to her hair. As she ran the washcloth down and under her arms, she slowed as her mind began to diverge and lose itself in thought, as it often did. This would lead to random, often uninvited questions bubbling up from her. Like the following. "Would you miss your body, if you no longer had one?"

Haddy paused with her fingertips pressed against Riley's scalp, blinking down at the other girl as she worked soap over her poor, neglected body. It was an odd question. Not the first she'd heard from the Life, but frequency did not make such questions easier to answer. "I think I would." She resumed her attentive washing of the other girl's hair, slowly, tone thoughtful. "I enjoy human contact. Hugging, kissing, curling up with a loved one on a couch to watch a movie. I forget to eat often, but when I do I enjoy it. I like tasting things." She hummed softly in self deprecating amusement. "I like hearing music." Like when Ren sang and played the guitar. "I like to see the sunset over the ocean, and the way the moon glows on the waves at night." Her shoulders moved in a small shrug. "Without a body, how could I enjoy any of that?"

"Mm." She muttered, ticking off all of the things on Haddy's list that she did not have, or enjoy, or really even care about. "You do take full advantage of your senses. It was silly of me to ask you this question. I know you well enough to have figured out the answer myself." Her washcloth rubbed down her body, slowing as her eyes fluttered with weariness. "I'm not thinking very clearly, obviously. If I was more awake, I wouldn't have asked."

Haddy didn't much like the direction this conversation appeared to be heading in. With a soft frown she'd pause in washing the taller woman's hair so she could lean in to drape her hands over dark shoulders, chin resting on the top of a soapy head. "Are you wondering if it's worth staying in your body?" It was very soft, as if she didn't want to ask, for fear of the answer.
