 Kayla Sue kept looking very hard through her binoculars. But she had been looking for a lot time into the underbrush and her head was starting to get fuzzy. Setting the binoculars down, Kayla Sue rubs her eyes a few time to get the fuzzy out and begins looking at the underbrush again. Kayla Sue was determined to see a familiar so she would stair all day if that's what it took. "Ok maybe not all day or I will have a major headache." Kayla Sue thinks to herself will rolling her eyes at her over exaggeration. "But I will see one familiar I can feel it in my bones." she continued to herself.

 " well it's not a phobia persay but I just wanted to explain any weird behavior." Leto stated. " and don't worry. It's easier to be out here in the deck than inside" he'd survive and he didn't want to ruin it for any one else. Vega seemed really nice and he could tell his admission worried the Kirin. he had just been so excited. Maybe he shouldn't have brought it up. " I'll be okay, I promise." Leto smiled and turned his attention towards the bank instead of focusing on the way the boat felt moving on the water. However he did keep his hand in vega's. It was just more stabilizing to him to hold on to some one else. When Vega exclaimed he turned towards where he had pointed. " ah nooo I didn't. Ah I missed it."

Kayla Sue was getting very sleepy as she looked out at the underbrush. "I am going to see a familiar. I am going to see a familiar." she chanted to herself. So far it seemed that no others had seen one yet. "Sneaky little familiars." Kayla Sue's muse voiced up in her head. this though made Kayla Sue smile and become even more determined to spot a familiar. "That's right will show them familiars we can spot them unlike any other Nm/dm." her muse was just as stubborn as she was. "Duh dummy I am you. " rolling her eyes Kayla Sue starts looking at the underbrush a little more awake then before.

 "You can be as weird as you like." He laughed, hoping to make Leto feel at ease. He really did want to make things easy for his friend. When Leto looked at the bank, Vega smirked. "Aw, you missed it." Though his smile suggested that maybe he hadn't seen anything, and was trying to distract Leto. "Maybe we'll see it again. Guess you're gonna have to focus really hard to make sure you don't miss anything else." He grinned.

 After standing on the deck for some time beside the elf, Nashira had gotten hot, and decided to head to the snack shack, though her companion had seemed to have the same thought. With her tea in hand, she returned to the deck to look for familiars. "The flavors of the tea are expertly meshed After drinking this I'm feeling refreshed. Dear me at this time I don't understand why I speak in rhyme."

 Aedus grinned and said "Me too, I want to be a familiar caretaker or vet when I grow up." Then he added "Yea I have a whole huge crew at my house back near the school, I miss them too, I care about them all very much, I have all sorts of familiars." Aedus nodded "Yea I left mine with a babysitter." Then Aedus went with Nashira to go get snacks since he was getting a little hungry. He ended up trying the watermelon lo chew. His eyes narrowed as he listened to Nashira anything. "It's the watermelons, you can't trust a watermelon, they are up to something, clearly world domination, making you rhythm so they can lull you into a state of confusion, it's the watermelon I tell you!!"

Aedus looked over at Nimah and said "This is Nashira and the watermelons have cursed them, this is Nimah." Aedus said introducing them to each other. "Was it the watermelons that detained you Niamh??" Aedus asked, his watermelon madness still showing strong due to the candy he had eaten at the snack bar. "Nimah you should get a snack at some point the watermelon is not to be trusted though." He narrowed his eyes glaring at his wrapper before looking back out on the water to see if any watermelons were trying to attack the familiars. Since watermelons couldn't be trusted.

Kayla Sue had been so tired last night that she didn't even look for her three attempt. Feeling much more rested and awake and ready for her next round of searching, Kayla Sue grabs a part of binoculars and begins the search of the underbrush again. "Ok I can do this I know I can." she says with more determination the yesterday. She starts by looking at the bottom of the underbrush and working in a zig zag pattern from left to right. This was a different strategy but Kayla Sue knew this had to be the way to find those sneaky familiars.

Kayla Sue kept look at the underbrush with all her sight. Eye wide as they could open, binoculars pushed tight to her eye sockets; which she knew was leaving perfect cycle indentations around her eyes but she didn't mind. "At less not right now." her giggling subconscious laughs at her. But still Kayla Sue didn't care she really wanted to see all the different types of familiars she could see because they are all different and give great inspiration for her clothing line. Shaking her head, she gets back to work looking for those crafty familiars that are way good at hide and seek. (edit in id like to say that if there was one more 6 in that roll I would be a little scared for the day lol sweatdrop )

 Jacintha was a huge fan of familiars, owning a bunch of Gryftoos back at the academy and now a coatl that she had found in the ruins as well. Now here she was, familiar spotting here in this new place that she was only now beginning to explore more and more. What would she be able to see? Would there be knew familiars she hadn't come across before? Who knows?! It was hard for her to contain her excitement and remain quiet, letting her search begin. With binoculars in hand, she began to make her way with the group and hoping to see a familiar. Items brought in Bag: music player, earbuds, book on Swirling Sands, fidget sphere, dried fruit snacks, notebook, writing utensils, camera, magically powered fan, warm and cold weather change of clothes

Kayla Sue looked through her binoculars for the last time today. It was getting late and she knew she need to go to bed soon. Reluctant to give up she press the binoculars even tier to her face. She was sure it would take days for the impressions to fade away. "Well you knew you weren't going to find anything today." she subconscious rolls her eyes yet again. But Kayla Sue wasn't ready to give up yet. She hears the call for last couple of minutes before its time to put the binoculars back and head to bed. "Ok just a few more minutes. Come on familiars just poke your head out. " she voice in a whisper.

 Thomas seemed to naturally drift to the sun deck. He wasn't one to complain about the cold, but he couldn't deny his natural draw to the warmth. Maybe it was because he was a naga, maybe it was because he grew up somewhere so hot, or maybe it was because he was used to the heat of a kitchen. Either way, he slithered towards one of the balconies, leaning on the rail casually as he watched the scene drift slowly by. He naturally had good eyesight, so he waved away the offer for binoculars. He felt... uncomfortable with eye-wear.iMoony just so y'all know where tom is ! musicaloner7 but no pressure for rp <3

"A familiar care taker? To care for them all you'd need at least an acre. The plan I have is for those who's paths have gone askew, I think I'd rather train for search and rescue." She smiled, then blinked in surprise when Aedus blamed watermelons. "So you believe the watermelon is quite a devious felon? You know I am starting to think there was something funny about my drink." When the fey came and joined them, she nodded to her. "Hello, Nashira is my name. I do not share the opinion of watermelon blame. But you it is a pleasure to meet and I ask you forgive this rhyming greet."

" oh I try to be. You'll find me the weirdest litchi/fallen hybrid if you keep up my acquaintance, I promise." Leto tried teasing. It was still a bit clammy but he was slowly easing up again. Leto knew what Vega was doing, it was a trick his older brother often did. Still Leto agreed with the sentiment on it and kept his hand not holding Vega's clutched to the railing as he looked out on the bank. Nothing so far but Leto wasn't really expecting to see anything, it was more you were supposed to enjoy the scenery and the company, or at least that was his opinion. " I guess that I just will.although familiars tend to run into me then me spotting them." Speaking of the company, Leto had to keep a chuckle listening to some of the other passangers. They sure did seem to be spouting some interesting things.

"The weirdest, hm? I guess I'll have to hang around you more to make sure you aren't a liar." He lowered the binoculars and looked at Leto with a grin. "I thought... we were already going to spend time together. I still want to learn that... signing thing you were doing with Kanda. I mean, if you want to spend time with me after this, and are willing to help me learn." He slowly lifted the binoculars. "Here, you might have better luck looking through these." He offered to let Leto look. They were still around his neck, and he figured that since Leto was gripping the railing so tightly with one hand, and holding his with the other, he would just hold them for his friend.
