Phone question time! Api perked up as the first one arrived- that voice... No, they didn't know it. Still, the question was an interesting one.
"Oh I dunno, I suppose... it'd be nice to have all of my friends together at once to dance!" They giggled a bit, "that's not really all that farfetched I guess but it's still something I'd like to do." They weren't really sure what the caller was trying to get at. Hopefully they hadn't just made a fool of themself on national television.

Her lines were memorized. Character sheet reviewed. Costume pressed to perfection. Hair on point. This was just another game, another FLARP campaign. Frossa was gone the moment she slipped on her sparkling outfit and sequined shoes- instead, stood Fross☆.
Quote: There was a hushed but long applause as the cameras swung in towards the two chairs. Razzle, with an expression of deep and genuine interest, clasped her hands together and began the introductions. "Welcome back to Superstar Authority, sweet things. I have with me tonight Fross☆. Hold onto your seats as we delve deep into their genuine, exciting, unique and vivid life with our probing and thought provoking interview. Fross☆, how have you found Superstar Authority so far? Is it living up to your expectations? What's your best memory so far?"
"Beaming pichi pichi beamu~!!!" Frossa bounced around in her seat, flailing her arms around in the growingly-iconic pose. She pointed, smiled the biggest damn grin she'd ever mustered in her life, and winked at Razzle. "Here to give you a smile!!!" At every chance she got, she turned to catch the spotlights on the sequined outfit she wore. More ruffles and layers in bright purples, pinks and yellows- all indubitably garish.
"Thank you so much for having me here tonight~! I'm sosososo SOOOO happy for the chance for my fans and I to get to know each other a little better!" She giggled, then leaned closer to Razzle, placing a hand on her knee. "Darling, and just before we start, I just need to say I adore your dress. You simply must give me the name of your designer after the show- my mentor Eridia would never forgive me if I passed up the opportunity. It's stunning. Totally encapsulates her mantra- fast, furious and luxurious."
"But back to the topic at hand. So far, I've absolutely adored this whole experience. It's so fun being surrounded by all sorts of talented and interesting trolls from all over the spectrum!" Frossa clasped her hands together by her rosied cheeks. "So much inspiration! So many interesting stories and aweworthy skills! I'm sure you've all heard of Lorata Gorgos by now, and how Alternia needs heroes- she's certainly going to have a lot of options to pick from, don't you think?" She laughed, turning to the audience as if to get them to join her.
"So it's certainly been living up to my expectations! Even more so, I'd say! I never imagined I'd be having so much FUN!" Frossa threw her arms out and bounced around in her seat, ever enthusiastic. "And let me tell you Razzle, I have high expectations in myself and others, so that's saying something. Last time I was this blown away was when I visited Phoenix Down in Civisect. They claim no meal is too big, no troll is too small- and boy, they have some great food and huge serving sizes! I might not look like it but I eat a lot," Frossa stuck her tongue out sheepishly, "so when I heard 'no meal is too big', I was like 'hah!'. But they sure humbled me." More expertly practiced laughter. "And real quick I want to give a shout out to one of my sponsors- Stemma Morgen! 'When thy go low, we bury them' Without her support I couldn't be here. Yay!"
"My best memory, hmmm...." Frossa tapped her chin and blew up her cheeks, looking up in thought. "Ooh! Well, I really loved meeting new friends at my booth in my beloved hometown of Four Fronds! Thanks so much for coming out, everyone! I had soooo much fun!" Frossa waved to the camera. "And eternal thanks to my neighbor Sundar Ghayak for helping to set everything up- you were right darling, a little glamour never hurt anyone, especially not how great everything looked."
"It was an amazing experience! My dear friend Cerise of Cerise's Bakery even prepared cupcakes with my face on them!!! They were unbelievably cute- her bakery really does have a sweet treat for every occasion. Oops- I really talk about food too much, don't I?" Frossa threw her head back and let out a little laugh. "Although filming my music video was a blast, too. It was a little wild, I'm sure you know if you've seen it! I did a part in Underworld, such a great place to party. Let's just say we did misbehave a little," another laugh, giant smile, and an enthusiastic kick of her toes.
Quote: "If I were to go to one of your closest friends, how would they describe you?"
"They'd say something nice, I hope!" Frossa let out a laugh and waved her comment off. "No no no, but, uhmm...! I think they'd say I like to have fun, and really want my friends to have fun, too! Actually, Eridia, Lorata and Cerise, some of my generous sponsors, could directly attest to that! A few Bloodfests ago I ran a fantasy FLARP booth with a dear friend of mine, and we all played a little game together. We had high tech game grubs and everything! It was super flashy. Cerise commented that FLARP was a sweet treat for every occasion, and I certainly agree." Frossa waved her arms around wildly, as if to punctuate her words. "Such a blast!!!! Lorata sure got a fill of Alternian heroes that day," she said with a jolly laugh. "Was it fast enough, furious enough, luxurious enough for you, Eridia? Write me!"
"I've always really liked to spread some smiles, y'know? Share the fun and good times! It's contagious!!! That's what beaming pichi pichi beamus are all about~!" In her usual over-the-top display, she posed with her catchphrase, spinning to show off her outfit to the cameras. She posed, then sat down. "My home town of Four Fronds isn't the biggest city, so a lot of trolls know each other and stay relatively amicable. Maybe that's where I get it from? I still adore the big cities, though! Sundar Ghayak from back home always says 'a little glamour never hurt anyone', and I want to share that glamour over Alternia! One of my favourite things to do is taking my friends out to other cities to eat great food- whoops, there I go again," Frossa giggled, "So maybe they'd say I'm generous? There's always so much more to experience! Like Phoenix Down in Civisect- I'll never stop raving about that place. 'No meal is too big, no troll is too small'- and no party is, either! Tell them I sent ya, I'm sure you'll get a free appetizer or something." Frossa winked. "I just like to share what I have. The other night I brought a group of friends over to Underworld in celebration of tonight! 'Let's misbehave'- and boy did we. There was an open build-your-own-cupcake bar!" She laughed, grinning so much her cheeks hurt.
Quote: "Let's talk big. What is your goal in life? How are you getting there?"
"Oh, that's easy! It's right in my catchphrase- beaming pichi pichi beamu!" Another arm arc, and a hop off her seat. Frossa did a small dance right then and there, sequins ablaze. "My goal is to spread smiles to trolls across Alternia who need a little of it in their life- with a big beaming beamu!!!" Frossa winked and struck a cute pose, smiling from horn to horn. "If you're a hardworking lowblood like Cerise, working tirelessly to bring sweet treats for every occasion to the trolls of New Hemisect. Or Calida from Pheonix Down- 'no meal is too big, no troll is too small'- bent over a hot stove all night. Maybe you just need some upbeat tunes to jam out to while you work, y'know? I want my songs to be what people hum along to! If you're out partying at a club somewhere like Underworld, dancing, doing a little bit of that misbehaving- I want it to be to the rhythm of Fross☆! Gosh, the other night I was out grabbing some things for tonight, actually, with Sundar Ghayak in our home of Four Fronds- a little glamour never hurt anyone, and neither does their fashion advice- and lo and behold, my new single was playing in the store and the cashier was sort of doing the dance to themselves behind the counter! I was blown away!!! I love that my songs could be a backdrop for so many wonderful lifestyles, and that they could help bring a shred of fun to them! I want to reach out to trolls from all walks of life and create stuff everyone can relate to! Who doesn't like having a little bit of fun? Like Lorata Gorgos says, Alternia needs heroes. I want to be a hero of smiles! I'm here for you~!!!" Frossa dipped into a curtsy right there in her seat. "Thank you again to my dear friend Eridia... when I was struggling with the lyrics for my new single, she told me this about the industry; 'it's fast, it's furious, it's luxurious.' I really took that advice to heart."
Quote: "Let's ask the big questions. What is your favorite thing to eat?"
Frossa giggled and kicked her feet, cheeks flushed and smile widening from the mere mention of food. "Down to the real important stuff, eh Razzle! I like your style... hmmm!" She tapped her chin, bouncing in place as per usual. "That's sooOooOOoooo hard. I LOVE TO EAT!" Frossa punched the air. "I guess I really, really love baked goods! They put a beaming pichi pichi beamu on my face!!! Y'know, cakes, pastries, cookies, that sorta thing. My home town of Four Fronds has some great patisseries, but nothing beats Cerise's Bakery. They have a sweet treat for every occasion, for every troll's taste! I dragged my neighbor Sundar all the way out to New Hemisect just to try her stuff. A little glamour never hurt anyone, and those are some glamorous cupcakes! They're gorgeous! Cerise was responsible for all the sweet stuff you see in the sets of my music video. She even catered for the Underworld bit, so we certainly misbehaved when it came to our diet that night!" Another laugh, a flip of her curls. Frossa crossed her legs, shifting intentionally to show off her outfit in the spotlight. "Oooh, and Phoenix Down is close contender, too." Frossa nodded sagely. "Another place we filmed at! I simply love supporting small businesses. So does Lorata Gorgos, 'Alternia needs heroes'. It's just the right thing for higher castes to do! But they have some great stuffed croissants there. No meal is too big, no troll is too small, they have something for everyone! I was just there with Eridia Tsifer, a wonderful troll, and we were treated to simply the best service and most wonderful food. Definitely fast, furious, and luxurious. Please, guys, do yourselves a favour and check it out! They're sure to give your stomach a smile."
Quote: "What part of Alternian life makes you the proudest?"
Frossa took a moment to look deep in thought, arms crossed over her lap. She chewed on her lip. "Hmm! Well, it's no secret that right now Alternia is in the middle of rebuilding after the terrible tragedy that befell most of the adults of our species." She held a hand over her chest, looking momentarily somber. "I think the fact that so many trolls are working towards building our future with such passion is simply- well, inspiring! Simply inspiring. Really warms the blood pusher. There's trolls like Lorata Gorgos, always on the hunt for Alternia's next heroes- we really need them now more than ever! Or Stemma Morgan, who takes care of society in more indirect ways. When they go low, she buries them. Literally! But it's not just the trolls doing big work like that, it's also the little guys who contribute with their talents, y'know? Sundar Ghayak from my home of Four Fronds- 'a little glamour never hurt anyone'. In fact, I think it can be very therapeutic! Beautifying the world for others. Eridia Tsifer knows all about that, too! The fast, the furious, the luxurious. Or, for example, take Cerise's Bakery or Pheonix Down- 'no meal is too big, no troll is too small'. We all need good food, right?! Am I right?!" Frossa waved at the audience, as if to get them to agree outloud with her. "It helps warm or foodbags, and our bloodpushers. A sweet treat for every occasion, even through the bad ones. Or like the guys at Underworld, always working hard to put a party on to help brighten your night. I want to be like that! I want to help put a smile on everyone's faces so they can do their jobs with a little more ENERGY!" Frossa hopped up out of her chair, did a few spins, and punched the air some more, ever enthusiastic. The smile she wore almost outgleamed the sequins on her outfit. "That's the beaming pichi pichi beamu way~!!!"
Quote: "If you were being honest, what would you say is your greatest weakness?"
"Oh goodness me, putting me on the spot here, Razzle!" Frossa let out a light laugh, readjusting herself on her seat. The sequins caught the spotlights like blinding sunlight. "I could go for another food answer- but, hmm. I guess I'll be more careful with my response- I have a weakness for luxury! Be it food, or clothes, or what have you. My dear friend Sundar Ghayak from back home at Four Fronds always says a little glamour never hurt anyone- but my bank account would disagree!" Frossa threw her head back and giggled before putting on an even wider grin. "I've been addicted to Underworld in Chittentown lately- y'know that place, 'lets misbehave'?" She hopped up, performing another little mini-dance. Trolls in the front row winced at the flashes bouncing off her outfit. "The allure of the nightlife!! So much luxury! I'm sure you'll be seeing me there more often in the future. Lorata Gorgos always says Alternia needs more heroes, and my kind of hero is someone who can spread infectious fun!"
"But honestly, when I say luxury, that includes food too. It simply has to. Cerise's Bakery has a sweet treat for every occasion- the most sublime stuff you can get in Alternia. I'm either there, or at Phoenix Down in Civisect, practically every weekend! They say no meal is too big, no troll is too small there- and this small troll with an appetite agrees! I love it there. Simply love it. I visit my dearest friend Eridia all the time- it's fast, it's furious, it's luxurious! My hometown and holds a special place in my bloodpusher, but the big cities are just so exciting." Frossa propped her chin on her palm, smiling never once wavering. "Stuff like that just really makes me wanna spread the beaming pichi pichi beamus across all of Alternia~!" She finally took her seat once more after delivering the last bit all while dancing.
Quote: "What's one thing you never want to see happen? Like, your biggest fear?"
"Oh, that's an easy one." Frossa's ever present smile melted momentarily. Her expression darkened into one of solemn somberness. Her singsong voice dropped. She delivered the next line with genuine seriousness. "Becoming lactose intolerant."
"I'm a troll who likes a sweet treat for every occasion, like from Cerise's Bakery or Phoenix Down- 'no meal is too big, no troll is too small'. Pretty much everything has udderbeast secretion in it! There's a little place in Four Fronds in my neighbourhood that Sundar introduced me to that has amazing frozen creamed udderbeast secretion. A little glamour never hurt anyone, but how much of it I eat might!!! I'd just die without it. Stemma Morgen: when they go low she buries them, and when she buries me, bury me with a couple tubs of that!" Frossa threw her head back and burst into a fit of giggles, clutching onto her stomach. "The famed Lorata always says Alternia needs heroes, but the real question is do you have any with powers to alter food intolerances?" Soothing down her glimmering skirts, she returned to her ever-grinning state. "But don't worry, I've got plenty of beaming pichi pichi beamus in me yet~!" Hopping up, Frossa enthusiastically performed her little arm-arc-kiss-point-wink move accompanied by a small dance.
Quote: Another camera hummed into life, and on the tv monitors around the stage, the judges panel slid into view beside the stage in a split screen shot.
Quote: "So, when are you most comfortable? Like, a time, a place, a state of mind, darling?"
"Goodness, you look simply ravishing tonight, Aandes! More designer's names to collect. But to the matter, hmm. I think the time or place is fairly irrelevant, although I do love my home town of Four Fronds. I think what makes me the most comfortable is being surrounded by good friends with good food, good music having good times!" Frossa wiggled in her chair in an excited dance. "Shooting those beaming pichi pichi beamus at one another~! Sharing some laughs. Lorata always says Alternia needs heroes, and I think that someone who can spread that sort of feeling is a sort of hero, don't you?"
"Why, just the other night I was at Underworld partying it up with some of the other lovely contestants and sponsors here tonight! Cerise from Cerise's Bakery accompanied me- such a sweetheart. SHE'S a sweet treat for every occasion. But anyway- it was AMAZING!!! I'm sure the paparazzi would love to know just how much misbehaving was done," she flashed a wide grin, "but you know what they say about that sort of nightlife- it's fast, it's furious, it's luxurious! I thrive in that sort of environment. You know what I mean, Eridia." She winked at the camera. "And like my neighbor Sundar always says, a little glamour never hurt anyone. I rather think it's quite healthy! I mean, look at me!!!" Frossa hopped up, flexing and spinning. She did a few cartwheels for good measure, then took a bow, ever grinning.
Quote: "Every good artist has a muse behind them. I’m curious, who is your biggest inspiration?"
"First off, that shade of lipstick is everything on you. But um, my biggest inspiration isn't so much a single troll, as it is an ideal." Frossa leaned forward in her seat, hands on knees. "The ideal of the beaming beamu! Bringing smiles to other's faces. The idea that I could brighten even one troll's life- that's my inspiration!!! I'm so excited to start this journey on behalf of everyone on Alternia who I can reach out to!" Frossa leaned back and threw her arms out, practically vibrating in her chair.
"I couldn't have been here tonight without my sponsors. Sundar Ghayak from my beloved home of Four Fronds- a little glamour never hurt anyone dear, look at me now! Or Eridia Tsifer,'it's fast, it's furious, it's luxurious'. Stemma Morgen, 'when they go low, we bury them'. Lorata Gorgos- Alternia needs more heroes, guys! Phoenix Down, 'no meal is too big, no troll is too small'. Underworld, my new favourite place- let's misbehave! And last but not least, my dearest Cerise. A sweet treat for every occasion~! Without their support, I couldn't realize my dream. They believed in me, and in turn, inspired me! It's infectious, just like... the beaming pichi pichi beamu!!!" Frossa hopped up off her chair, striking poses as always in an over-the-top display. Her smile was awfully contagious.
Quote: "Waddya want people to know you for?"
Frossa twisted her fingers into her cheeks and smiled wide. "Spreading smiles across Alternia, of course! I really admire trolls that can do that with their talents. I just hope I can keep up with only my music and my smile! There's trolls out there everyday brightening lives with what they do. Like Cerise from Cerise's bakery, making sweet treats for every occasion. Or Calida from Phoenix Down- 'no meal is too big, no troll is too small'. A good meal can put a smile on anyone's face! The employees at Underworld are always livening things up- 'let's misbehave'. See what I mean here? These guys do what they love, and people love them for it. That's what I want to be known for! Stemma Morgen, she deals with an important part of our society and is deeply respected. 'When they go low, we bury them'. Obviously, Lorata Gorgos has her Alternian heroes- but we always need more of them! There's trolls who make the world more beautiful, like Sundar Ghayak from the love of my life, Four Fronds. 'A little glamour never hurt anyone'- in fact, I think it makes Alternia a better place! Like Eridia Tsifer always says, 'It's fast, it's furious, it's luxurious'... sounds like the Alternia I know and love! I have so much respect for these trolls. So much. I just hope everytroll can see Fross☆ in that light, one day!"
Frossa hopped up, shoving her hands into pockets hidden deep within skirt ruffles. "So remember... beaming pichi pichi beamu~!!!" She threw her arms up, tossing glitter confetti all over herself, Razzle, and the stage. Frossa hopped up and swung her arms around in an arc, winked, and blew a kiss among the settling glitter.
Quote: Soft but enthusiastic applause rang out again, reinforced by Razzle clapping away. On the screen, the judges panel slipped back out of view as Razzle leaned in. "And now, we will take some questions from the audience before wrapping up. All phone lines are open!"

Quote: There was a hushed but long applause as the cameras swung in towards the two chairs. Razzle, with an expression of deep and genuine interest, clasped her hands together and began the introductions. "Welcome back to Superstar Authority, sweet things. I have with me tonight SHEshell's Discorp and Flygirl. Hold onto your seats as we delve deep into their genuine, exciting, unique and vivid life with our probing and thought provoking interview. SHEshell, how have you found Superstar Authority so far? Is it living up to your expectations? What's your best memory so far?" Scorpa and Flydra shared the chair, the tealblood sitting comfortably across the lap of the yellowblood. They had shifted so that both could be seen and talk to Razzle at the same time. If anyone was uncomfortable by this arrangement, the two girls didn't seem to care.
"We're doing fantastic, Razzle." Flydra shared a look with Scorpa and nodded. "The meet and greets in Civisect were a lot of fun and it's been wonderful to connect with trolls that share the same values as us." Those values of course being: glitz, glamor and guts. Flydra pulled out a envelope to give to Razzle.
"This is a thank you from SHEshell and our supporters for the great care you've given us. It's an exclusive postcard from the JROTC." Upon opening it, there honestly was a postcard complete with a photo of Lorata Gorgos's lusus Meduma on it, dolled up like a plate of spaghetti and meatballs.
"Superstar Authority has gone above anything I expected! It's been a blast!" Scorpa exclaimed. All the perks of being on television were amazing and she liked the food service tables that were occasionally around. Anytime there was a captive audience forced to pay attention to her and free food, she was there!
"It's been great meeting so many cool people! At the meet and greets we met a pair of identical twins! They were perfect mirrors of each other! Thinkpan blown!" The yellowblood recalled. Otherwise their events for the show had gone perfectly so there wasn't much to tell yet. They hadn't ever met a pair of twins before and thus it'd been a memorable moment for them!
Quote: "So tell me, what would you consider to be your greatest strength?" "Our greatest strength is our teamwork. We bring different qualities to the group that cover up each other's weaknesses." Flydra explained with a very analytical tone. "For example, Scorpa is strength and style while I'm calculating and cute." The two hammed it up for the camera with two contrasting poses to highlight their differences.
"We're also pretty dope at limbo." There was no further explanation of this random additional talent or why it would be applicable to the show.
Quote: "Let's talk big. What is your goal in life? How are you getting there?" "Our goal is to become leading members of the military! I'm going to become a super soldier and she's going to rise through the medical division!" Scorpa flexed to show off her muscles. She and Flydra seemed to fall into a pose together, trying to look dramatic and dynamic for the camera. They notably were careful not to swing their ridiculous amount of hair around and get tangled in each other.
"I've been training everyday and been in her supervision for how to get the maximum out of my body! Flygirl's been studying and conducting experiments too! You should see her lab, it's crazy!"
Quote: "In your spare time, what do you do as a hobby?" "For hobbies, we like to hit up the late night scene and party into the morning. There's a couple of clubs around Chittentown that've been popular lately. Our personal favorite is Underworld but really anywhere that hosts dance battles by Chiara Moteku is sure to be fun." Flydra flashed her plastic light-up spiked bracelets for a sponsor plug. It was a little weird to be promoting people besides the great and wonderful Lorata but business was business she supposed.
"It's pretty inspirational how far she's build that Death Dancers brand really. We look up to her in that while we promote the JROTC." The blueblood had been doing incredibly well in her business ventures. The sirens could only hope their own investments would pay off as well.
"Oh and we also like to swim in our spare time. A couple of us hang out at the beach a lot, spending time jumping in the waves. Shout out to our besties: Lora, Austri, hey girls!" Both girls did a cheeky wave at the camera despite knowing that the two other sirens were in the studio audience. It was totally a calculated move to seem more relate-able to the general public.
The adoring expressions on their faces as they talked about their friendships, however, was genuine.
Quote: "Let's ask the big questions. What is your favorite thing to eat?" "Meat! It's soooo good! I love the way it tastes, the way it feels, the way it smells..." Scorpa's face filled with satisfaction. She liked lots of different kinds of food really but there was something about the solidness of meat that couldn't be beat.
"The scent of an outdoor barbecue, ah! So enticing! I'd never really realized how an aroma can matter so much until Eridia taught us all about scents and perfumes! Check her stuff out sometime, it's really cool!" Scorpa flashed a thumbs up at the camera, knowing how obvious and painful the sponsor plug was. It didn't matter though, she had to hit her marks!
Quote: "Is there one memory that stands out in your mind as 'Oh my god, this totally sucks'?" Flydra paused at this question. She liked to think that she lived a pretty charming and positive life but this question sent her on a breathtakingly sad trip through her memories. The panicked countdown as the four of them fled the Space Tower. Finding Austri broken and buried in the rubble. An unbearable pain after metal scraps cut through her arm, clear through the bone even. Scorpa hanging on to every blueblood she saw with strong affection in her eyes.
But these were all far too personal to admit on live television. Far too vulnerable.
"I'd have to say my worst memory is blowing up experiments in my laboratory. I singed my eyebrows off once and looked like an alien." Flydra looked somewhat miffed and embarrassed at the recollection but she figured that was the point of the question. There were plenty more stories in a similar vein to that unfortunately. Bettering Alternia took a lot of trial and error at times.
Quote: "If I were to go to one of your worst enemies, how would they describe you?" "That I'm a real b***h!" Scorpa laughed, giving the camera a big grin before turning back to Razzle. It was true though, she could be really obnoxious when she wanted to be. It was actually a point of pride for her.
"Really though, they'd say we're dangerous, devious, and mischievous." The two girls blew a kiss to the camera in practiced unison.
Quote: Another camera hummed into life, and on the tv monitors around the stage, the judges panel slid into view beside the stage in a split screen shot.
Quote: "On a fun note, if you could travel to any planet for vacation, what would it be like?" "If we could go to any planet, we'd like to visit the mythical LostVegas should it really exist. I'm sure every troll has heard of the missing party paradise full of bright colors, wild fighting and never ending riches. My lusus says there's a city made completely out of diamonds and pearls on it. If we can find it someday, we'll conquer it in the name of Alternia!" It was a fairytale of sorts that Flydra had heard about in her youth. She had always wondered what kinds of planets were actually out there, waiting to be claimed. She tugged her mic to the side and whispered something to Scorpa, probably about the kinds of trouble they'd get into on such a planet, and the two shared a giggle before fixing their tech and answering the next question.
Quote: "Every good artist has a muse behind them. I’m curious, who is your biggest inspiration?" "Obviously we owe a lot of our aspirations to serving the queen. But following her, it's Lorata! She inspires us to be heroes, to do more than merely what is expected of us. If you find yourself feeling inspired too, come by the JROTC and learn more about what you can do to serve Alternia." Scorpa touched her chest in a passionate totally not practiced speech. The sentiment was true but she definitely had been reminded multiple times to plug their military training group. If she was a better actress a tear would've rolled down her cheek.
Quote: "Waddya want people to know you for?" "Alternia needs heroes." Flydra had heard the words so many times when hanging around Lorata. It was cute the way the seadweller's eyes lit up at the sight or mention of heroic trolls doing magnificent feats. Somehow, someday, those expressions would be aimed at her. And the rest of the sirens. Would they actually get recognition from the Queen herself someday? It was nervewracking to stand before her and talk with her. The two of them would remember this moment for the rest of their lives. It was one thing to admire and worship her from afar, another to actually interact with her.
"After all our training, we will become pillars of support for the Alternia military. Our dream is to rise through the ranks to serve our planet and our people." She placed a hand over her pump biscuit. Scorpa mirrored the action. The two of them were obsessively patriotic and this moment was the peak of that frenzy.
"Our passion will 'never die'."
"We're gonna make it to the top. 'Don't blink!' or you'll miss us speeding by!" Not that anyone could. The sirens made a commotion wherever they went. With all of the main questions answered, the two of them sat with satisfied smiles on their faces at getting through the interview portion without major incident. Phone questions were next but they doubted Alternia would throw anything at them they couldn't handle.
Quote: Soft but enthusiastic applause rang out again, reinforced by Razzle clapping away. On the screen, the judges pannel slipped back out of view as Razzle leaned in. "And now, we will take some questions from the audience before wrapping up. All phone lines are open!"

It was time for Astra to be interviewed and the seadweller was particularly nervous. Claud had told her to be honest and that if she spoke too much she’d lose. Mainly he didn’t want to hear her talk about science tonight, but what if they asked her? It wasn’t her fault right? She was guided on stage, at this point her hair dresser had rattled to the staff members that she absolutely needed someone to settle her on her seat or else they’d be culled. As if she ever did a thing such as that. Quote: There was a hushed but long applause as the cameras swung in towards the two chairs. Razzle, with an expression of deep and genuine interest, clasped her hands together and began the introductions. "Welcome back to Superstar Authority, sweet things. I have with me tonight Astra. Hold onto your seats as we delve deep into their genuine, exciting, unique and vivid life with our probing and thought provoking interview. Astra, how have you found Superstar Authority so far? Is it living up to your expectations? What's your best memory so far?" Polair perked up before replying. “Glad to be here with you. I’m just shimmering like Stemma’s crystals right now. This has been quite the experience!” Polair shifted to a comfortable position and smiled. “I’ve definitely been impressed with the hard work the others have pulled up to make this night happen. The will, the passion… It’s something I can’t really describe!” She chucked. “Superstar Authority has been a pleasant event. Having trolls out there that see themselves in you or simply share the same interest as you is really nice to, you know, acknowledge. I personally liked discussing about telescope specifications during the meet and greet-- great minds do think alike.” Another chuckle escaped her lips as she flipped her hair slightly to the side. She could imagine hearing her lusus growling at home. But hey, she really couldn’t help it. Quote: "So tell me, what would you consider to be your greatest strength?" “My greatest strength?” She said. “I consider my knowledge one of my greatest strengths Razzle.” Polair said as a matter of fact. “And I’m not saying I just know a lot of things. Any fool can know Razzle, the point is to understand the information you’ve acquired. It’s one of the most recent multiple intelligences. Everyone’s smart at something but not everyone can interpret and teach.” Polair went beyond memorization and that was a merit to be recognized. She wasn’t a fool that was only guided in life by information, but she interpreted it, she questioned it. “I have always been known as a smart child during my youth, from leaning simple equations to trying to solving linear equations. Of course little by little I’ve been trying my hand at more complex ones-- as you should never be satisfied with simplicity. I have been tutoring young kids at my city’s schoolfeeding institution, as they have become aware of my knowledge, and since then I have been offering personalized classes as well. I cannot teach anybody just anything Razzle, but I can only make them think. And that’s more valuable. Critical thinking for our greater good.” Quote: "If I were to go to one of your closest friends, how would they describe you?" “Wow um,” She couldn’t help but chuckle! Thinking of her friends just made her happy and sometimes sad… She didn’t like lying to them but it was for a good reason. Right now, Astra tried to remember the good times with all her friends. “I’d say smart, motivational… Passionate... I-I really get talkative when they mention some of my goals to them or simply try to show them what I know.” “I am also reliable. Being reliable does not mean saying yes to everyone. On the contrary, reliable I use discretion making promises to others. In case I simply can’t deliver my promise, I try to proactively communicate with them. No surprises should overwhelm me or my friends.” She promised herself that. “I believe I’m considered truthful.” Oh gog she regretted using that word. “Realistic, sincere and accurate. Science is an open book and so am I. Be full of truth-tell the full truth. Deceiving others is not simply a matter of lying, cheating, and stealing. It can be in a look or a gesture. We can tell a lie by omission or when we pass along gossip. Anything that leads people to believe something that isn't true is dishonest. Definitely I am considered as a source of reliable information.” Quote: "In your spare time, what do you do as a hobby?" “Ooh!” The seadweller exclaimed putting her hands together on her knee. “In my free time, I read.” She said with the biggest smile. “I just enjoy reading physics, astronomy, cosmology or math books as those hold the key to understanding the natural enigmas of Alternia. I also road books on biology and oceanography. And recently I have been trying out to map out things.” Thinking about the things she loved always brought a smile to her cold and expressionless face. “I love sky watching, storm watching and stargazing as well! I love Alternia's fauna as well as its flora. I love plants to the point I collect specimens and make things such as tea and many other derivatives out of them whenever I can. In fact, I have a greenery of my own inside my underwater hive!” She laughed. “Really, a…” She paused thinking of Buffel for a moment. “A friend, visited once. He can assess to that.” If he was still around. This wasn’t time to mull over things. “In there I tend my plants and any creatures that might try settling inside. I also adore gems. Like Sundar Ghayak said, “A little glamour never hurt anyone!” Which is why I simply love Stemma’s lovely crystal jewelry! I collect them, not only because they are appealing, but to test their properties. Like testing their hardness to make carvings on them. Why carve something like that you might ask?” She crossed her legs for a moment as she shifted her weight on the chair. “Like I said before, I like mapping zones out. So… I make my gems into maps. Maps of the skies, the cities, the ocean… Soon enough the cosmos when I get the chance. Once I hang them together, I’ll have myself my own way to navigate through Alternia like my lusus.” “Just like him, I’ll become a great navigator.” Quote: "Let's ask the big questions. What is your favorite thing to eat?" She blushed a bit as Razzle asked her this. “W-well… As natural as I tend to eat I really enjoy cookies.” Something about them really made her happy. “As a kid, I always ate the animal and plant shaped ones, I liked classifying them into families and such…” Quote: "If you were being honest, what would you say is your greatest weakness?" “M-my weakness?” Never in hell would she talk about her eyes in TV. Never. “I may be a bit stubborn, strict, routine based and, well, cold. Science doesn’t have time to feel so… yeah.” Quote: "What's one thing you never want to see happen? Like, your biggest fear?" “Oh… Well… Being ignorant, thinking i may know something when I don’t, you know?” She lowered her tone a bit. “Facts do not cease to exist because they are simply ignored. I wouldn’t like to be labeled as such. The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge. “Living is Easy with Eyes Closed and I swore I would never live a life like that.” Quote: Another camera hummed into life, and on the tv monitors around the stage, the judges panel slid into view beside the stage in a split screen shot. Quote: "On a fun note, if you could travel to any planet for vacation, what would it be like?" “Hello Aandes, I’d Love to answer your question! Finding inspiration in space and all, how could I not!” She giggled. “Hmmm! I’d love to travel to an aquatic base planet for vacation! Of course of that the air there must be breathable for water to exist and all. But, voiding any scientific logic here, it would be filled with underwater plants and creatures to observe! A real scientific treasure!” Quote: "I want to hear you define your dreams, dear. What does success mean to you?" “Hello Miss Cygnet that question is a deep one… Holy-moley.” She said, trying to act casual and not nervous at all. She took a deep breath as she thought. “Um, well, my dreams consist on exploring Alternia. May it be the sea, unexplored lands… Space… I want to witness the great unknowns, embrace them… The Cosmos extends, for all practical purposes, forever. I used to dream about escaping my ordinary life, but my life was never ordinary. I had simply failed to notice how extraordinary it was. Once I did… I wanted more of it. Simple things that we encounter day by day, wouldn’t it be nice to know the logic of it? The logic behind a simple interaction, behind a flower… It’s not like that has made my dreams of going out there and explore, no. It has made me wonder just how different it is from the things I find “ordinary”.” She paused to breathe for a moment. “Adventure is allowing the unexpected to happen to you. Exploration is experiencing what you have not experienced before. How can there be any adventure, any exploration, if you let somebody else arrange everything before-hand?” “For me, success is the courage to continue. It means stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm and will. To be sure when you step, you step with care and great tact. Because well, life's a great balancing act.”Ugh, rhyming was so, so… not her thing. “I can't give you a sure-fire equation for success, but I can always try. If A is a success in life, then A equals x plus y plus z. Work is x; y is play; and z is keeping your mouth shut. Therefore, in order to succeed, stay quiet as actions speak louder than words.” Quote: "How d'you pick your friends?" “Miss Mariam this question has, by far, been the most tricky one!” She laughed. “Doesn’t mean I won’t answer you truthfully.” “I have a thing for those who simply wonder. Who question simple things like, traveling from point A to point B in a different way-- a way I consider unimaginable. I love to be with troll who think, who want to know more, who want to be the best they can be-- who respect others just like they respect themselves and always defy life. Not letting the bad times bring them down.” Quote: Soft but enthusiastic applause rang out again, reinforced by Razzle clapping away. On the screen, the judges pannel slipped back out of view as Razzle leaned in. "And now, we will take some questions from the audience before wrapping up. All phone lines are open!"

Quote: There was a hushed but long applause as the cameras swung in towards the two chairs. Razzle, with an expression of deep and genuine interest, clasped her hands together and began the introductions. "Welcome back to Superstar Authority, sweet things. I have with me tonight Eostre. Hold onto your seats as we delve deep into their genuine, exciting, unique and vivid life with our probing and thought provoking interview. Eostre, how have you found Superstar Authority so far? Is it living up to your expectations? What's your best memory so far?" "Oh, Razzle. Thank you for having me back so soon." Eostre smiled, ready to give a bunch of stupid rehearsed answers to stupid rehearsed questions, to improve her image and make herself look as good as possible to everyone watching. An ultimate act. Hearing Odette pick her as her stand-out contestant so far had boosted her already over-swelled confidence, and she was ready to commit. "You know, I really have found the Superstar Authority to be like home to me. I'm comfortable with the glamour and glitz, and it certainly hasn't left me wanting for anything!" She gave a soft laugh. Cameras everywhere... it was a little annoying. "It is beyond my expectations. You've been a wonderful hostess.""Now, my best memory so far?" She put a finger to her chin, thoughtful. A deliberate pause, but not too much. "It is so hard to choose with all the wonderful things so far, if that isn't too cliche to say. I loved the meet and greets of course, but I'm dedicated to getting my message out there and not everyone has the time and energy to come all the way to my hometown, Four Fronds, to see me personally, sadly. However, meeting with my fellow competitors and one of my precious Four Fronds sponsors, Chaeng, that was lovely. I got measure and fit for a bespoke hanfu at her hive, and it came out just lovely, really. She's all about a good story, a good body and a good life, and I hope to embody those ideals for her."Quote: "So tell me, what would you consider to be your greatest strength?" Eostre smiled, batting her eyelashes a little. "Now strengths, that is one of my favorite things to talk about! My greatest strength is my ability to adapt to anything. As an actress, a fighter, and a member of the Alternian military, being able to do whatever is needed of you is important. Life's tough, but I'm tougher darling! And being able to be tougher than life requires a bit more than brute strength," she said, giving a polite laugh, covering her mouth slightly. "Tincan Mechanics, as the gear-anteed best around, would probably know sometimes you need to be able to finesse something a little better than that. Or perhaps Almuma Ththil, as a theatre aficionado, would understand the importance of adaptability, since all the world's a stage, and all trolls merely players." Quote: "Let's talk big. What is your goal in life? How are you getting there?" Eostre sighed happily and leaned forward in her chair. "An excellent question! I have lofty goals, and though I believe I am well on my way to meeting those goals, I want more. I desire military advancement, honors and more responsibility. That's the stuff heroes are made of, and I think Lorata Gorgos would agree. Alternia needs heroes, and I sincerely believe our military is the best way to achieve that." She glanced at the judges' panel and smiled slightly. Quote: "In your spare time, what do you do as a hobby?" "Well, when I'm not training I love parties and the social scene. Honestly, if I'm not in my office, the next best place to look for me is at the biggest social gathering." Eostre folded her hands. Fighting was more accurate, but she needed to emphasize the elegance. "Modadi Balloa, who says you all should 'come to party city', certainly gives me incentive to visit New Hemisect more."She leaned back again, tucking her hair aside. "There's just so much to love about the life of socialites, the glamour and elegance and all. Sundar Ghayak, of my own lovely Four Fronds, says a little glamour never hurt anyone, and I agree. I love to see everyone at their best."Quote: "What part of Alternian life makes you the proudest?" "Trolls are a species worth being proud of, Razzle, and that's what makes me proud. We're powerful, tenacious and not afraid to do what must be done to secure what we deserve. And I like to think myself a bit of a prototypical highblood, with all the power and tenacity that lends me," Eostre said plainly. "So many other highbloods are doing their part to sponsor superstars, and so I have to have a special thanks to a few of them - Stemma Morgen, 'When they go low, we bury them!' and Eridia Tsifer, 'It's fast, it's furious, it's luxurious!' Both are lovely qualities of highblooded, passionate trolls."Quote: "If you were being honest, what would you say is your greatest weakness?" Eostre sighed dramatically and put a hand on her chest. "What lady wants to reveal her deepest, darkest secrets? I suppose if I'm being honest though..." Eostre looked up and smiled. "I'm a huge perfectionist, and I can find it hard to want to put out anything that isn't my very best. Taking things slow to ensure they're done properly, well, it can be time consuming! There aren't enough hours in the night, sadly..." Quote: "What's one thing you never want to see happen? Like, your biggest fear?" This again. She needed to make sure it sounded real without being too real. Another layer. Something that still made her look good. Eostre put a hand on her cheek. "Well, I'd have to say my biggest fear is failure. I hope that's not too cliche to say, but surely you understand that it's a terrible feeling. When you work the ranks too, failure can mean more than just not winning. It can mean the death of trolls who are important to you. Disappointing those who respected you. Losing everything." She leaned back, sighing again before breaking into a picture-perfect smile. "Everyone is afraid of those things, and life's tough, of course, but I'm tougher, darling!"Quote: Another camera hummed into life, and on the tv monitors around the stage, the judges panel slid into view beside the stage in a split screen shot. Quote: "So, when are you most comfortable? Like, a time, a place, a state of mind, darling?" "A lovely question, Aandes," Eostre replied, studying him in return. The whole panel was people who knew her, and likely knew the truth. As long as it wasn't a gross lie it was doubtful they would comment on it. "I have to say the place I find myself most comfortable is out and about in the social scene. Mingling with others, perhaps at a party. I'm sure you know the feeling, darling!" Eostre laughed. Truthfully, a fight would be more comfortable, but this was a better answer for a wider audience. Quote: "Think back to a time when you made a terrible mistake. If you were given the chance to change that past, what would you do?" Odette. She'd pointed her out as her frontrunner for the event, so far. Eostre found that encouraging. Eos looked at her thoughtfully, head angled and a slightly pitiful look in her eyes. "Mistakes are hard to deal with, Odette. Knowing your history and all, it must be hard for you to ask, darling. It's a wonderful question though, and hard to answer as well. I appreciate the challenge." Take a breath. Say what's been rehearsed. "I have no regrets about my mistakes, but if I could return to my last mistake I'd want only the wisdom to make a better choice. To keep more trolls safe and stop a criminal before they could do as much damage as they did..." She kept this vague as well. If she could stop herself from getting shot at the gala Regina threw that certainly would have been nice. But she wasn't about to advertise that she was capable of even making a mistake. Because she wasn't. Quote: "How d'you pick your friends?" No need to suck up here. Go straight to the point. Eostre nodded. "I believe the most important thing about your friends is that you can really mesh well, Your Majesty. All other differences can be dealt with but if you simply cannot get along, there's no use. If I get along with someone, I find it easy enough to be friends with them." She smiled, a gloved finger tapping at her mouth gently That was vague enough it wouldn't be suspicious about the fact Eostre had no true friends. She got along with pretty much anyone, and would use anyone as a "friend" if it benefited her to do so. "My sponsors have all been lovely people, and I've gotten along with all of them! I hope they can consider me a friend. Modadi Balloa, Tincan Mechanics, Sundar Ghayak, Almuma Ththil, Chaeng Zumeng, Stemma Morgen, Eridia Tsifer, and Lorata Gorgos, you're all welcome to contact me at any time, should you have need of me!" Eostre gave one last shout out to her sponsors before ending with her name and catchphrase one last time. "I'm Eostre! Life's tough, but I'm tougher, darling!"Quote: Soft but enthusiastic applause rang out again, reinforced by Razzle clapping away. On the screen, the judges panel slipped back out of view as Razzle leaned in. "And now, we will take some questions from the audience before wrapping up. All phone lines are open!"

Micillia I have a question!Question: What is the biggest punkin you've ever grown? Rp question: "I remember you had a whole bunch of punkins and squash at your booth! What's the biggest one you've ever grown?!" An eager and curious voice sounded from the line. Philip was safe now behind a phone so she couldn't throw water balloons but just as delighted to see her on the screen as he'd been in person. KitsuneAura I have a question!Question: May I have this (next) dance? Rp question: "That dance party was a ton of fun! Will you invite me to the next one? May I... have the next dance?" A familiar voice laughed Sypon I have a question!Question: When are you gonna have an action figure? Rp question: "You're so cool! When are we gonna get a SHIELD action figure?!" Philip asked or almost demanded. He'd never paid much attention to the Coliseum fights before but with all his grand posturing and kid friendly persona, Ganyma had hooked the detective as a fan! stringency I have a question!Question: What's your favorite place to eat in NHC? Rp question: "It's super easy to get lost in NHC, isn't it? But thanks for representin' us! What's your favorite local dive?" Philip remembered the other orangeblood from the meet and greets and was happy to see him full of passion and fire once more. After this was over, he'd try to get in touch and see if they could grab a bite to eat sometime at wherever Frendo suggested! leon_a_darkangel I have a question!Question: Are you and Honey Rose dating? Rp question: "You and Honey Rose look super close! Are you two official yet? Give her a smooch!" Philip's voice teased, but not maliciously. He was genuinely starting to be interested in quad stuff though. He'd realized he had some developing feelings and thoughts of his own and was definitely watching they way they looked at each other affectionately. He wondered if he could get to do that soon too. Hobo Pixi I have a question!Question: How did you two meet? Rp question: "Wait, don't close the line yet! I wanna hear from Honey Rose too! How'd you and Tintroll meet?" Philip slipped an extra question for the Latte Lovers in before he was disconnected. melona-pan I have a question!Question: When's your next open FLARP game? Rp question: "You ran a FLARP booth? That's so cool! Are you going to run another one again sometime?" The voice sounded impressed and wanting to know more. He'd never tried FLARPing before but thought it could be fun. He'd love to try it out with some of his friends! Maybe Fross☆ could help point him in the right direction to get started! ImaginationsParadise I have a question!Question: What's the longest you've gone on talking before someone stopped you? Rp question: "I'm super talkative too! What's the longest you've gone off before someone cut you off?" Philip laughed, finding it a relate-able moment from Astra. He didn't recognize her but thought it was cool that was she more intellectually driven, it seemed. While he liked the flash and dazzle of the other contestants, Philip also respected the calmer ones and thought they were interesting too!

“Oh, that’s a great idea!” Ganyma perked up. He couldn’t imagine a little figure of himself – but now that it was mentioned, he lit up with genuine excitement. “We could do a little gear-anteed the best Tincan Mechanics motorbike prop with a helmet! Or my wrestling gear, or maybe a special Death Dancers version. That would be amazing – I mean…. Maybe we are! But I can’t say. The ALG will definitely give an announcement, so stop by the Four Fronds Coliseum in my hometown soon to check it out!” He pointed a finger gun at Philip in the gesture of a wink. Then he mimed pulling a little string on an action figure, and said, “I’m here for you!”

Micillia Sascha glanced up at the ceiling, as though he could see the caller through the speakers. His face twisted abruptly, and like striking a match, he burst out into laughter. He reeled himself in as soon as he was able. "Oh man, sorry about that! Good question, good question. Thanks for calling in!" Sascha repositioned himself and let out a quiet puff of air. "As far as 'particular' feelings go, Cerpin in 'particular' is fun to hang out with. We've got a lot in common, and I'm always down to shop for sick duds--especially if it's on someone else's beetles. Lorata and Chiara I've both known since we were kids, though I've only recently gotten talkin' with Lorata in earnest. Feels like I've been missing out! Chiara's got that classic blueblood swagger that's only gotten more ambitious and theatrical since entering showbiz. Keeping up with her is a trip. Calida is my most recent contact, but no less important! She's got drive, but also a good head on her shoulders. Wish I had half the business sense she does at her age."Sascha flashed double finger-guns at the camera. "Quadrant-ways, I'm available in all four directions. Stay tuned, though!"blackbird cake Sascha jumped to attention in his seat as the next voice cut through. The initial shock never quite wore off of Sascha's face as he caught up with the content of the question. He opened and shut his mouth, eyes roving the stage as he visibly recalled the memory. He clapped his hand together and stomped both feet, nearly launching himself in the process. "NO WAY!" Sascha cackled hysterically, "Damn right that was me! If you want a rematch, hit me up! You can find me in Chittentown. Not much snow, though. We might have to improvise." Sascha winked. His smirk was mostly teeth.

Tzofia had forgotten people would be allowed to call in, too relieved to have made it through the judge's questions intact to think ahead to what she'd been told would come last. So she gasped when another voice cut in, and then lifted her hands to her mouth to cover another when it sunk in what he was saying. "Philip?" She couldn't stop herself from looking around, although she knew logically that he was just calling in.
"Yes!" Realizing she'd muffled her own voice, she dropped her hands to her lap again. "I mean- Next time you're in Civisect, I'd love to."

Quote: There was a hushed but long applause as the cameras swung in towards the two chairs. Razzle, with an expression of deep and genuine interest, clasped her hands together and began the introductions. "Welcome back to Superstar Authority, sweet things. I have with me tonight Sparkling Snow. Hold onto your seats as we delve deep into their genuine, exciting, unique and vivid life with our probing and thought provoking interview. Mera, how have you found Superstar Authority so far? Is it living up to your expectations? What's your best memory so far?" Talking to people, thank god. Posing and selling herself was one thing, something she could do, but it wasn’t the same as getting to enter a dialogue with another troll. She could gauge better. Maybe stir some emotion in real time. Also this was something she could absolutely study for ahead of time. No curveballs here. Mera felt relaxed in the atmosphere surrounding them. “It’s good to be here, Razzle. I have had a great time with Superstar Authority! It’s everything I hoped for and more. The sponsors especially have been wonderful. I have gotten great use out of Lorata’s glasses. Alternia needs heroes, and her merchandise feels like it sometimes. Eridia’s fragrances, too, have been lovely. It’s fast, it’s furious, it’s luxurious! This competition has certainly been all of that, and I feel empowered with the perfume. And Calida, last but not least. An absolute dear. With her bakery, you know, no meal is too big, no troll is too small. And this event, as big as it is, feels like it can help anyone rise to the top! And where would we be without those helping us along the way?” She had to tap a finger to her chin about the memory. “I may need a moment. There have been so many. I would say any moment along the way with Mr. Freeze,” she laughed softly. “But that would be too easy! And too many to pick from. I love what we’ve been doing, and our sponsors have been hands down the best, and our fans have been great as well! The opportunity to work with them has been one of my favorite things. It’s humbling to have them come up to us to sign things, to talk to them, even to help them with some personal things! The connection is an amazing thing to establish.”
Quote: Mr. Freeze, how have you found Superstar Authority so far? Is it living up to your expectations? What's your best memory so far?" Hemera had gotten him calm, talked him off the ledge of anxiety that kept prickling along his skin. Afryse was not a people person, but he was trying. Gog was he trying. This whole session was much easier than the booths. Most of the questions were prewritten, and if an audience member had one, it wasn’t necessary to ask. He worried the edge of his draped fishnet outfit, listening intently to Hemera’s answer. Something, the fondest memory, caught him off guard. This was not planned, and for a moment Afryse was unsure of how to take it. Was it true? A lie? But before it could process, the limelight was turned onto him. A warm smile crossed his lips as he nodded to Razzle, “Thank you, Miss Razzle. Superstar Authority, it has been good to me, to us really. It’s challenging, but that makes it fun. We’re fashionable trolls who seek the new, who push our creativity and art out there for others to experience. These new sights and sounds are shaping us into marvelous trolls, and I can only thank our lovely queen for giving everyone this opportunity.” Expectations. Afryse hummed, his finger tapping his chin for a moment before he nodded, “Yes. I anticipated that being a Superstar wasn’t all talk and walk. There had to be substance to you, the performer, and I believe Mera and my participation has shown just how dedicated we are to our fans and audience.” Favorite memory, Afryse shifted in his seat and smiled for real this time, the wrinkles near his eyes bunching up, “I have a little secret to admit to you, Razzle. A little scandalous secret. You see, my favorite memory would be surprising Mera during our opening. She had absolutely no idea that I was going to make ice flowers bloom all over her. But, seeing her happiness and delight will be something I cherish for all my sweeps.”
Quote: "So tell me, what would you consider to be your greatest strength?"
Mera had to do her best not to blush at Afryse’s last comment. They were in it, now. She had to pull herself together. ”Perseverance,” she stated immediately. “Or else how would I have designed these outfits?” Mera smiled. “I’m a hard worker. You have to be, to survive the mountains and trek to Chittentown as often as I do. A worthy trek, I might add. I know a lot of people claim they work hard, and of course a lot of people have to be, but I take it to the next level. I refuse to give up, ever. Not on my friends, not on my goals. I have made everything for myself based on what I’ve put into it.” Hemera finished with a nod.
Quote: "Do you have a favorite memory? What is it?"
“Favorite memory, well… Darn, I just gave you my most recent one,” Afryse padded it with a faint chuckle. Favorite memory… “The day I first met Mera. I was reading a book in the Chittentown library and we just hit it off over art. That moment, that raw connection as children, has always felt like a defining moment in my life. It’s so silly and simple, but to me it is the difference between a life without Mera and a life with.”
Quote: "If I were to go to one of your closest friends, how would they describe you?"
Now she had to really try not to blush at what Afryse was doing. She might die on the spot. Instead, she kept her poise and only broke it a little to turn her flustered feelings to something more casual. ”That’s a good question. Mr. Freeze? What would you say about me? No, I jest. I wouldn’t put you on the spot like that. I’m sure I already know what he and others have to say. I’m to the point, factual, but accommodating. So I’m who those turn to for advice. I always have a spongeclot open and want to help, because my friends are the most important to me. I’m sympathetic, trustworthy, and do my best to have not just advice but good advice. That’s very important. I’m the reliable friend who just wants the best for you. Also, they would probably say I make great hot cocoa.”
Quote: "Let's talk big. What is your goal in life? How are you getting there?"
”My goal in life is simple - I wish to be the most recognized artist on Alternia, a veritable Troll van Gogh of the ages. And how to get there, well… I have already started by being here on Superstar Authority, have I not? More trolls have been exposed to my abilities, creativity, and dedication to my goals. I believe that this will be a moment that shapes my life and pushes me further to my goal than anything I have done before.”
Quote: "In your spare time, what do you do as a hobby?"
”Believe it or not, I enjoy hunting down materials and scrap in the desert.” Afryse chuckled, instantly regretting he picked that as a topic, but decided to stay on it, “Not the most fashionable hobby, is it? Ah, but you’re wrong! The world is filled with things that can be used again and again, to be repurposed. What better art is there than art that takes from something that was and makes it something that is? None, I say. Hunting down scrap and materials helps push my creative thirst.” After a pause, Afryse gave a sly smile and added, “Or for a little less conventional answer, I would say that bothering Mera is another wonderful hobby.”
Quote: "Why did you join Superstar Authority?"
She smiled, partially at the question and partially at how unrelenting Afryse was. ”Oh, what a good question. I admit to be an avid fan of competition shows. You hope for the best for those involved, you know? Especially those who come from nothing and want to be something. I always felt like there was something more I could do. I have talent and work ethic on my side. So I thought I could do this, but more than that, I thought I could do this best with a certain someone at my side. Similar drive, passion, and a longing to do something amazing. A cold touch hides great passion and all.” She looked over at Afryse, pointedly, then back. “More than that, this certain someone has seen me at my best and worst. I wouldn’t want to be here without him. I burn brightest with him at my side. We both expect to go far, and we definitely will if we do it together.”
Quote: "Say you could change the world, in any way. What would you do?"
Heat still sang in his veins from Hemera’s previous answer. Burn the brightest beside him? He held Hemera’s gaze, searching for a lie there and realized that his persona had slipped. The mask had slid down just enough that the world saw his true self then - the worried and awed teen who never could stay one step ahead of Hemera. Taking a deep breath, he steadied himself and turned to look back at Razzle. “One thing I could change? That’s a lot of power for someone like me, don’t you think?” His small, sly smile peeked out, “I believe, just like Lorata Gorgos, that Alternia Needs Heroes. If I was given the power to change the world, then I would wish to give everyone the courage to pursue their dreams with dedication. To take and say the things that they are unsure of, to make whole the tentative relationships they are scared to break.” At that, Afryse glanced at Hemera, his smile changing into something warmer, something larger, something fonder. “Yes, that is how I would change the world.”
Quote: "Let's ask the big questions. What is your favorite thing to eat?"
And in that moment, Mera realized she didn’t study enough. People ask that on television? Her instinct was to be absolutely truthful, but again, she was representing someone. She brightened up. “A good cupcake, of course! Especially from Phoenix Down.” How in the world would she work that catchphrase in again? “In case you may have forgotten, no meal is too big, no troll is too small!” Covered those bases. Smooth save.
Quote: "What part of Alternian life makes you the proudest?"
”I’m proud of our ability to come together for a common cause, when need be. The ability to listen to each other is important. There are varying opinions on life on Alternia. Some feel more comfort in the caste system more than others, for instance. A hot button topic, I know, which I won’t go into. But, I have noticed, most importantly, when we all see something that absolutely cannot be tolerated, like major threat to a lot of us if not all of us, it doesn’t matter where your opinions on such matters lie. It’s like they disappear in a puff of smoke. Everyone joins together for that moment. And I think that’s beautiful.” ”Mera, you are quite eager to answer. I agree with her. In times of need, we become strong. What is the saying? The whole is more than the sum of its parts? That, in essence, is Alternia.”
Quote: "If you were being honest, what would you say is your greatest weakness?"
“In the past, it would bother me if I wasn’t perfect at something immediately. It would turn me off of doing it entirely. Of course it’s never fun to catch on to a skill that others might handle well immediately. It still can make me cringe, but I’ve learned to tough through it and work until I make myself better. There’s nowhere to go but up, after all. And with perfume like Eridia’s, I definitely feel like I can do better just with the extra self-confidence it gives me. It’s fast, it’s furious, it’s luxurious! A little luxury added to anything helps, I believe.”
Quote: "Is there one memory that stands out in your mind as 'Oh my god, this totally sucks'?"
Afryse stilled, his hand clenching at his outfit. There was always a chance that something would come up, that this would be pulled on them. He teetered between truth and bluffing, and decided to ride the line, “Yes. I was part of the mission to stop the rebels in the caves. That battle was… Enormous. So many were hurt and I faced horrible burns and nightmares that plagued me for sweeps. But the worst part would have to be a moment where… I lost Mera. I felt so alone and tiny and scared - I was just a kid! But I found her, and I remember thinking ‘this is something I cannot lose’. Silly now, isn’t it?”
Quote: "If I were to go to one of your worst enemies, how would they describe you?"
She sat up, looking totally serious now. “Unrelenting. I work hard, I play hard. Rarely does anyone get under my skin. It’s not worth my time. But if someone digs enough, I won’t tolerate it. And anyone who gets that far is probably someone who wants to hurt others. I will not stand for them harming anyone I care about or harassing me. I believe in justice and peace. Anyone who disrupts that, especially gleefully, deserves what’s coming to them."
Quote: "What's one thing you never want to see happen? Like, your biggest fear?"
”I believe,” Afryse started slowly, the words dragging out, “That my previous answer held some of this answer. I really ought to stop spilling my pumpbiscuit all over the floor, so let me say this: to fail someone, or something, would be my biggest fear. I am a dedicated troll and the very notion of failing someone I hold dear is bone chilling.” To cut the seriousness of the comment, Afryse placed his hands on either arm and shivered. Ice crystal formed and cracked over his skin as he did. Mera quietly put a hand Afryse’s, the one placed on the arm closest to her.
Quote: Another camera hummed into life, and on the tv monitors around the stage, the judges panel slid into view beside the stage in a split screen shot.
Quote: "So, when are you most comfortable? Like, a time, a place, a state of mind, darling?"
”Believe it or not, I’m a bit of a homebody. I am most comfortable working on fashion and art at home in my studio. There I can really tap into my creative juices and make the best pieces. Usually right before dawn, when most are sleeping and I’m becoming tired, I will have inspiration. Home, late at night, that is when I am most comfortable. Of course, I am even more comfortable when a certain someone is around.”
Quote: "On a fun note, if you could travel to any planet for vacation, what would it be like?" ”Chittentown often feels like a vacation in and of itself, honestly. The library, the education center...there is so much to it that I adore and feels so relaxing. Especially after braving the desert to get there. It feels so good to know that trolls can make a living anywhere if they put their mind to it. But if I could go anywhere, especially out in space? Hm. Definitely somewhere with beautiful landscapes and also temperatures where Mr. Freeze could work on his art freely. I like getting to see him work and not have to worry about keeping ice cold. If it was a planet where the land was cold and snowy but near the beaches it was warm, I would love it. The best of both worlds. I love Bloodfest and the beach life. I also love snow. Hence our team theme. But having both to exist in for a while with no muss or fuss...that would be perfect.”
Quote: "Every good artist has a muse behind them. I’m curious, who is your biggest inspiration?"
”This used to be Troll Michelangelo. His artwork would inspire me and made me wish to make my own. As a child, I would copy his works to learn the basics. It really helped shape my skills. “As I have grown, I have found that real life inspiration is much better than studying the art of others. Now, I find that my inspiration comes from someone who is not so good at baking, but wonderful at sewing. Someone who has been a diligent ally and friend. That inspires me more than any great artist could.”
Quote: "I want to hear you define your dreams, dear. What does success mean to you?" ”Success, to me, means satisfaction for everyone involved. Of course I would like to be happy with my work, but it means more when the clientele is also quite satisfied. More than satisfied. I want to know that I did what was asked of me, but in a way that proves that I’m worth turning to versus anyone else in the field.”
Quote: "How d'you pick your friends?" ”I feel like often my friends pick me out of the herd,” she said with a smile. “So many extroverts have come into my life and decided to ‘adopt’ me, as it were. Of course, that’s not every case. But no matter what, the glue that keeps us all together is passion for something. All of my friends are passionate people. I don’t think I go out of my way to look for it, but it keeps cropping up. And if it was a contest, Mr. Freeze would be the winner out of everyone I know. He’s very serious about what he cares about. As am I.” She thought about it for a moment. “I am often also drawn to people I feel like I can be there for, who might need some kind of help I can provide. Being there for others is important for me, so I am drawn to those that might need that.”
Quote: "Waddya want people to know you for?"
”Oh goodness, that’s easy. I want to be known for wonderful art and a dedicated, fashionable person. I want young trolls to know my name as a marvelous artist who has changed the world with his skills.”
Quote: Soft but enthusiastic applause rang out again, reinforced by Razzle clapping away. On the screen, the judges pannel slipped back out of view as Razzle leaned in. "And now, we will take some questions from the audience before wrapping up. All phone lines are open!"

"Oh my, yes! I've actually run several Bloodfest FLARP booths along with my friends over the sweeps." Frossa cupped a hand to her cheek and let out a wistful, bittersweet sigh. "If you've ever heard of the National FLARP League- well, I'm one of the three founders!" Frossa stuck out her tongue and winked sheepishly. "I'd really like to run another one sometime. Spread some fun and smiles! But I'm not going to lie though, it's a lot of work and takes a lot of passion. Unfortunately, the NFL's numbers just aren't what they used to be. So if you're a fan of FLARP, and you want to get involved- send a message to the NFL, addressed to Fross☆! Let's play together!" Frossa waved at the camera. "Thank you SOSosososo much for calling in!"

And interview. Again. Tsarzi hadn’t even started yet but she already knew she preferred the one she had with that tealblood after signing up to this. All this pomp really wasn’t her style. It was excessive and obnoxious and Tsarzi knew that this would be nowhere near as short as her first one. The exposure that came with her participation was getting more trying. Tsarzi was honest by nature, so the smoke and mirrors that came with being on show was growing wearisome. Hopefully it’d be done soon. Once it was, Tsarzi could better assess and process the information she’d gathered. Soon enough though, she was being ushered out on stage for the official Superstar interview. Quote: There was a hushed but long applause as the cameras swung in towards the two chairs. Razzle, with an expression of deep and genuine interest, clasped her hands together and began the introductions. "Welcome back to Superstar Authority, sweet things. I have with me tonight αWulf. Hold onto your seats as we delve deep into their genuine, exciting, unique and vivid life with our probing and thought provoking interview. αWulf, how have you found Superstar Authority so far? Is it living up to your expectations? What's your best memory so far?" Well, if the host was going to jump right into questions, than Tsarzi could jump right into answers. “I’ve found this whole ordeal to be...enlightening,” Tsarzi settled on, her tone clipped but words thoughtful. She shifted, cracked her neck, then leaned forward a little, her demeanor remaining cool and disaffected as she shared her thoughts. “Participating has given me some unique insight into the entertainment industry and the challenges entertainers face and manage on a daily basis. As a learning experience, this endeavor has been invaluable and I have no doubt the experience will serve me well in the future.” “I tried not to come in with too many preconceived notions,” Tsarzi said, shrugging lightly. “Definitely different than my usual agenda, but, to quote Sundar Ghayak, ‘a little glamour never hurt anyone,’ and this event is certainly that. Of course, the words ‘It’s fast, it’s furious, it’s luxurious,’ from Eridia Tsifer and ‘ All the world's a stage, and all trolls merely players,’ a la Almuma Ththil also sum up this event very well I’ve found. ” “I’d say the moments that stand out the most so far are the up close interactions I’ve had with spectators of the event. One proactive troll interviewed me right when I signed up in Civisect and I had a run in with an acquaintance at my meet and greet booth. It was rather interesting to see the enthusiasm and dedication viewers hold for this event.” Quote: "If I were to go to one of your closest friends, how would they describe you?" ”You’d have to find one first,” Tsarzi deadpanned, an eyebrow quirking above her aviator lenses. “I don’t need close friends. I’m αWulf. Other trolls just water down the experience.” After delivering that line, Tsarzi leaned back, relaxing into the chair. Quote: "Let's talk big. What is your goal in life? How are you getting there?" ”Goal hmm? I’m already the best there ever was. What’s more to do but maintain the status quo?” The blueblood tilted her head towards Razzle, almost challengingly, as though inviting the hostess to dispute her claim. Quote: "Let's ask the big questions. What is your favorite thing to eat?" ”Meats and cheeses. Fruit makes for a nice dessert and supplementary sweetness for the palette. I prefer natural foods, the less processed the better,” Tsarzi answered honestly. “In case you didn’t notice, I may have be the winner of the Bloodfest Soda Pong contest, but my stomach didn’t particularly agree with the artificial drinks.” Quote: "What part of Alternian life makes you the proudest?" ”The challenges and the differences. Every troll has incredible unique experience and perspective on life that comes about from their upbringing, location, and personal choices, to name a few factors,” She rattled off, pausing thoughtfully. “Lorata Gorgos says Alternia needs heroes. With such an eclectic array of trolls walking Alternia, I think it’s rather fair to say any one of them could be a hero. I think anyone can make something of themselves.” Quote: "If I were to go to one of your worst enemies, how would they describe you?" If anyone had been expecting the turn to probing for Tsarzi’s negative aspects to unsettle her, they were sorely mistaken as the blueblood remained as poised as ever. ”That I’m cold, perhaps cruel. Rude. Uncaring. If someone takes issue though, I’d say that’s a personal problem. After all, that’s all part of my charm.” Quote: "What's one thing you never want to see happen? Like, your biggest fear?" ”That I fail myself. I’m a winner because I’ve chosen to be. I judge my worth under my own expectations, because at the end of the day, I’m the only person I can’t live without.” If her words seemed particularly cold, Tsarzi seemed unbothered and confident still, in that relaxed way she had held throughout the interview. Quote: Another camera hummed into life, and on the tv monitors around the stage, the judges panel slid into view beside the stage in a split screen shot. Quote: "So, when are you most comfortable? Like, a time, a place, a state of mind, darling?" ”Meditating on the cliffs of Busthind or the beaches of Civisect. Letting go of worldly worries so that I can refocus and center myself. There’s a moment of clarity that comes with it and in those moments, I am the most myself,” the blueblood answered, her tone just as droll as it had been as she addressed Razzle. It would seem that talking to such well known figures didn’t bother her in the slightest as she asserted her opinions and views with the same assurance she did with the tealblood hostess. Quote: "I want to hear you define your dreams, dear. What does success mean to you?" ”Success to to do my best. It is to give my all and everything to anything I set my mind to. Success is to stand by and follow through with my choices.” Her mostly apathetic tone took on a slight edge, a certain kind of emphasis that gave the words command. Perhaps she was being more honest about her values than her persona usually was, even if her persona consisted of just exaggerating some personality features, it was still a persona. Still, she wanted at least a few more genuine answers amongst the dialogue she put out to be heard. Quote: "Waddya want people to know you for?" Tsarzi turned towards the royal judge, seemingly eying her, though her shades obstructed her face, preventing anyone from really knowing where she looked. “I’d want to be known for whatever was most striking about me,” Tsarzi answered, almost carelessly, shrugging slightly. A diplomatic and open answer, but suitable enough Tsarzi thought, and definitely something that portrayed the blase and cool-headed aspects that she’d drummed up for this event. True to form, she'd remained poised in demeanor and assertive in her opinions throughout her answers as she showed off her knowledge and perspective while managing to get right to the point with as little excessive chatter as possible. Maybe not exactly what they were looking for, but Tsarzi was satisfied. Quote: Soft but enthusiastic applause rang out again, reinforced by Razzle clapping away. On the screen, the judges pannel slipped back out of view as Razzle leaned in. "And now, we will take some questions from the audience before wrapping up. All phone lines are open!"

Astra gave the caller a charming laugh as she processed his question. She really talked a lot, no wonder Claud lost his mind whenever she said some of her favorite theories or simply expressed her opinion on simple things. "That's a good question. Glad to hear there's someone else out there in the talkative spectrum!" She giggled. "The longest time I've spoken before being interrupted? Hm." She started to think about it it for a moment before coming to a conclusion. Clearly she always spoke the most when in an argument or debate, but she REALLY spoke her mind out when explaining an original creation. "I'd say, the longest I've talked non-stop was when I participated in a Science Fair sweeps ago. Used approximately.... four hundred and thirteen words. If I were to calculate the time however... Let's see..." She mumbled. "One hundred and thirty words are normally uttered in a minute, for me at least. Therefore, One minute equals one hundred and thirty words while X is equal to four hundred and thirteen words..." At this point Astra was tracing numbers in the air. "So one times four hundred and thirteen is four hundred and thirteen, divided by one hundred and thirty its equal to 3.17692308 minutes I believe. If you have a calculator in hand, or anyone really, please feel free to check if my calculations are, in fact, right."

Azrael would have lied if he said he wasn't exhausted, he was really having a hard time keeping his persona in check. But with his signature furred jacket and heeled boots, the blueblood sat with confidence and slapped on a smile Quote: There was a hushed but long applause as the cameras swung in towards the two chairs. Razzle, with an expression of deep and genuine interest, clasped her hands together and began the introductions. "Welcome back to Superstar Authority, sweet things. I have with me tonight Dr.Eamy. Hold onto your seats as we delve deep into their genuine, exciting, unique and vivid life with our probing and thought provoking interview. Dr.Eamy, how have you found Superstar Authority so far? Is it living up to your expectations? What's your best memory so far?" Azrael opened and closed his hands as he thought about the questions. “ I think, it’s definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone, I didn’t really have any expectations when I started, It was just something I wanted to try,” Azrael crossed one leg over the other as he spoke and wore the biggest smile. “ Oh, meeting all my fans of course has been the best memory so far, but I did end up taking a very sweet green blood out to lunch the other night, that was really nice, I didn’t think I’d meet so many wonderful trolls!” He let out a dreamy sigh as he said this. " As my acquaintances at the nightly grind so wonderfully said, it's a It's a brew-tiful world!" Quote: "So tell me, what would you consider to be your greatest strength?” “ If I had to choose one from my wonderful self, it would probably be my daring, if it wasn’t for that, I would never have done this in the first place or tried to create a place for my fans,” He wasn’t sure if that was something that would win people over, but whatever. He was really exhausted and just wanted the interview to be over. Hopefully that didn’t bleed into his smile. " But, I think Chiara of battle dancers could tell you a bit about that," Quote: "Why did you join Superstar Authority?" “ For the experience of it and to try and give alternians something that will make their nights slightly better,” he raised his hand a bit and waved it. “ You see, a lot of trolls spend so much time worrying and working that I want to give them a reason to be able to stop and relax, a little bandage from the troubles of life, if you will,” a light laugh at his own joke before he continued. " But, I was also drawn to the glamour of it all, there have been so many fine and fantastic things that went into it, like these sunglasses from Lorata Gargos," Quote: "Is there one memory that stands out in your mind as 'Oh my god, this totally sucks’?" “ Hmmm….. if we’re still talking about Superstar Authority, I would probably have to say when I had attempted to get to know a couple of my fellow competitors,” Azrael let out a laugh. “ Particularly shield, not a bad troll, don’t get me wrong, but shield better at my schtick than I was and I almost broke my think pan trying to come up with responses, I felt a little ridiculous, but it wasn’t altogether bad, I’d love to have dinner sometime,” Boy he actually hoped that shield wasn't listening or going to talk to him after. " I wonder if my dear Stemma might be willing to help me with some accessories," Quote: Another camera hummed into life, and on the tv monitors around the stage, the judges panel slid into view beside the stage in a split screen shot. Quote: "Let's say you were betrayed - betrayed by someone close to you. How would you react in that situation. Mmm?” Azrael’s face became grave, “ I don’t believe in pettiness or revenge,“ the blue blood said with a smile. “ If someone betrayed me, I know I have the moral highground, I did nothing to lose face but they did and they will have to live with that, I will let them live with their actions but I will, without a doubt, remind them of it if I can, betrayal is never something that should be ignored completely,”
Quote: "Think back to a time when you made a terrible mistake. If you were given the chance to change that past, what would you do?” “ I...that’s a really tough thing to think about,” yes he would. Saving Eridia, meeting Eridia, that was all a mistake he would love to undo. “ Though, when I think of it, It was definitely an experience that shaped who I am tonight, if I stopped from making that mistake, I would not be the charming and suave doctor you all know and love,” he winked and then let out a light hearted laugh. Quote: "Ok, so, what's something you had to drop? Like, it wasn't gonna work out for you at all?” “ Hmm… Honestly there isn’t much I’ve dropped the ball on… but,” He looked around as if he was looking for people listening in and then leaned forward. “ I used to make jewelry,” He waved a hand and laughed. “ It’s absolutely true, when I was younger, I had these custom pieces done and then I put them together into very nice accessories, I still have them and intend to give them to a couple trolls that really fascinate me,” he shrugged. “ But I gave that hobby up to pursue medicine,” A melancholy silence came over Azrael for a moment before he smiled. " But that's why I am so fond of my sponsors at the glass shack, following their artistic dreams" Quote: Soft but enthusiastic applause rang out again, reinforced by Razzle clapping away. On the screen, the judges pannel slipped back out of view as Razzle leaned in. "And now, we will take some questions from the audience before wrapping up. All phone lines are open!"
