"Hmm, dunno many people really," Joy admitted, "There are a coupla people from the Island I know but, like, I can't be sure that they're here and even if they are, have you seen these names?" she brought up the phone book and rapidly scrolled through the people on her contact list. She may have scrolled through the names far too fast for Clyde to be able to read but she was stressed and didn't think of that. Hell, she didn't even have her own name, so how would she even know who the others were?
And of all the places to feel that aching longing for home and friends and family, it had never hit Joy so hard as it did that moment. She slumped against Clyde, a wing covering her face as she tried desperately to keep it together.

Clyde glanced through the names. "No can't say I have yet."
His friend was stressed, and leaning on him. He just wrapped an arm around her letting her lean on him. "Hey it's alright Joy. You got me whatever happens." Not that he knew hot to help. But he'd try.
Al had been struggling with his existence for quite some time before his phone suddenly buzzed. As a horseman, he liked to meet with people in person so honestly hardly noticed it until now. Now, he was staring at it as if it might sting him.
He slid it out and cautiously checked it...
... he was relieved by what he found, though honestly, they probably should have been slightly less obvious.
Text from Cor
It's great to be AL ive. I don't like thinking about DEATH too much.
He hoped he was just the right amount of obvious without being too obvious and perhaps the message got across intact without threatening his existence in the interim.
....
But then he thought about it and the more he thought about it, the more anxious he got. What if they knew some horsemen were hunters? What if some of the horsemen were actual horsemen and they were seeking out the hunters among them? Hunting them one by one. What if this had been a trap and he'd just walked right into it?? He stuck the edge of his thumb nail in his mouth, clacking it gently against his teeth nervously. It was surprisingly sharp and he stopped when he's realized he was poking his tongue on the filed point.
He started to write another message and it took several attempts at deleting and re-writing it before he finally felt confident enough to hit send.
Text from Cor
Unless, you know, you aren't into like HORSING around - or are you?
He impatiently watched his phone after that.

Terry wasn't entirely sure what the first set of capitalization was for but he got what the second capitalization meant. He spent so much time thinking about the first set that he received another message before it dawned on him that AL was the other hunter's name. Maybe it was their initial?
Did he know any A.L. hunters? Once he got out of this dream simulator thing, he should probably go check the archives.

Message from Terr I don't believe I am. I am certain that I would be terryble at horseplay.
While the misspelling made Terry's eye twitch, he hoped AL would be able to pick up on it.
