Cass's steps slowed when she noticed the sudden increase in her furry companion's steps and she stopped when he sought to block her path. Cat had balls, she had to give him that, and she took one last step, that put her a foot or two from him. Dropping down into a crouch, elbows resting on her knees as she leaned forward, she wrinkled her nose at him despite her grin.
"It's all about you, you, you huh?" Cass sounded like she was amused, at least.
One hand reached out, manicured finger tapping against the star on his forehead and moving slowly down the slope of his kitty nose before lifting and bopping that too. "Why don't you keep following me and find out?" Shifting her hand, she let nails gently scratch the underside of his jaw before she was standing up, sidestepping around him and continuing on her way.
Pussycat would either follow or he wouldn't but...
Didn't they say curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back?

She was a minx, that one.
He let out a preemptive purr as her hand moved towards him, but no scritches or pets ever came. Instead, she playfully began to drag her finger down his face, surprising him with a startling boop to the nose. His nose wrinkled and his head drew back, but her perfectly-shaped fingernails had already found under his neck, scratching him in just the right places to where his eyes closed and he allowed himself to relax.
As the fingers suddenly left, his eyes reopened. The girl had already stepped over him and was on her way off to... well, wherever she was going and it didn't seem that she cared either way if he was following after.
Hmph. Well.
He supposed he could follow her for a little bit longer... for curiosity's sake, of course.
"Hey toots, wait up!"
The ginger puss ambled after her, head still high, level of attraction even higher. Maybe this deal thing might turn out pretty spiffy for him, after all.
