"Pretend husband for a day sounds like such a long title," she laughed but was glad for it. They put the plan in motion at the first ride. But Liya ended up picking one that didn't have a height requirement. It was for a ride with tea cups.

Huh. Okay then. "You pick the next one."

Rayu enjoyed making the tea cups spin as fast as he could. But there was no height limits. Kind of defeated her goal.

But Rayu, he wanted to go ride on a mountain. And he picked the tallest looking one. Splash mountain. You went up and then splashed into a pool of water at the bottom.

there was a height limit. (but she was actually tall enough to ride)

On the one hand, the rides were fun in their own unique, somewhat silly way. On the other hand this was not going according to plan! Eventually, Liya just decided to forego all sense of pretense and told Rayu, "After we finish riding the next one that has a height thingy, we break it all the same!"

"Ok that works for me." He grinned.

He scouted for another ride with a height chart and then went up and leaned down on one of the height charts, crumpling it downwards. It was all bent up at the bottom by the time he was done.
