Sadly the condition her friend's feet were in went unnoticed as the cracks that were beginning to appear in the barrier took her full attention. Rayu had managed to get it started but she had dealt the final blow.

Rayu waltzed on in and found himself a a hunter sitting by a fire in the base. The moment they got in the hunter jumped up and attacked them. Rayu moved to defend his friend, and make himself a distraction. HP: 40/40 Attack roll: 2d8 -6 Defense roll: 1d6 2Damage done: 6 Boss HP: 70/70

One would think with the ruckus they were making with trying to destroy the barrier that protected them, the Hunter would have maybe not been so casually sitting by the fire like something was amiss. Or maybe they were, just biting their time.
Whatever the case, Elaia hummed annoyed for the second Rayu went to defend her not very pleased his instinct was to do just that. He managed to take the brunt of the attack against her at least,

Perhaps the hunter was just too cold to bother trudging though the snow. Who really knew? "Squish them. Squish them." Rayu grinned. He pulled out his bow and started shooting Arrows everywhere but there the hunter was standing. He was totally helping. Rayu seemed to be doing a little better with his attacks but she couldn't say much for herself. Sparing a glance at him made her lose a little focus on channeling her Fear into a much stronger attack.

Rayu decided that maybe it would be easier to defend while the other attacked because getting hit by this hunter was more than a little distracting. except he was not dong that great of a job, because he was trying to give her room to attack. Elaia decided to try it again, now that Rayu was in visual line of sight. And poorly attempting to defend her.
Concentrating, ice began to form on her hand which she gently brushed against the side of her scimitar to coat the surface. Though it probably really didn't do much in this climate, against a Hunter like this who had been braving the cold, it at least made her weapon look cooler (heh) and she always felt like it did a little something.Quote: Elaia - Death Guardian (s2)
