"The wedding is going to be in three months!" More excited hollering and jumping which caused the towel on her head to fall off, revealing her damp, dark, wavy hair. She stopped and grinned devilishly, "I am the one who gets to pick your bridesmaid dress. Don't worry, it won't be too ugly. At least you won't be the only one wearing it. Paul's sister, Stephanie, is also going to be a bridesmaid."

Stacy sighed with relief. "Oh, thank God. You're gonna buy it for me. I thought I was gonna have to fork over half my paycheck in order to support my friend." She began laughing with great volume. "I'm not made of money like you, my friend!" Her laughter began to push a tear from her eye, which she wiped with a single finger. "So, you wanna go celebrate your engagement with me? How's about we get a bottle of champagne from the ol' freezer? Maybe then, we can go find a wedding dress for you. How's that sound?"

"Of course I'll buy it. Only the best for my bestie." She gave her friend a hug and sighed, "I can't drink champagne anymore." she smiled hugely, "Thats the other reason I called you out here, and the reason we have to rush the wedding." Samantha looked into her eyes to see if Stacy would guess with the hints she was giving her

Samantha stared silently at her. It seemed she wanted her to guess the second reason. "A-are you sick? Should I call a doctor?", Stacy asked with a slight panic in her voice, "Oh God! I hope they take good care of you!" Despite the wild guess, Samantha was still smiling. She couldn't be sick. She couldn't at all look the part. "You look too happy to be sick. What else DID you call me for?"

Samantha laughed, "You can be such a dunce! But I love you." Shaking her head, Sam got serious, "You are going to make a great auntie, you know that?" she smiled again, hoping this hint would seal the deal

"Auntie?" Stacy looked back and forth. "But you don't have any kids!" Immediately, she focused back to Samantha, a look of realization on her face. "Ohhhhhhhh..." "You're gonna have a baby with him, aren't you?"

Samantha chuckled as she got most of it. She had to fill in the blanks, "I'm am going to have a baby. I'm already pregnant." Sammy let that sink in.

Stacy unveiled a wide grin as she pointed her finger forward, and put her thumb up. "That's my Sam! Congrats on the baby! Do you wanna celebrate with some... Oh yeah. You can't drink champagne. Do you mind if I celebrate with a drink?"

Sammy giggled and nodded, "Sure. I keep a cold one in the mini fridge over there." she pointed to the wall where it was, "Should I even bother telling you where to find a glass?" She took out her phone and dialed the kitchen, "Can I get some more of that cherry jello with black pepper? Thanks." she hung up, "I'm already having weird cravings, if you can't tell." "We are going to have so much fun planning the wedding and buying baby stuff. Oh and I want to introduce you to Paul!"

Stacy returned to the room, a big bottle of champagne in one hand, and a glass in another. "What was that?", she asked as she poured herself a drink, "I didn't hear that last part." She began to rapidly drink from her glass. Once it was empty again, she began pouring some more.

"I want you to meet Paul. He is such a great guy, I know you are going to like him." Samantha went to her closet to pick out some clothes to wear, "You think I'll be able to fit in any of these after the baby is born? I hear women are never the same after having a kid."

As she asked this question, Stacy still had a mouthful of champagne. She attempted a quick swallow in order to answer Samantha. However, she began to hack violently after gulping. It seems that some may have gotten into her lungs by mistake. "Yeah. I'm sure you'll be fine." "All you need to stay fit is lots of physical and mental discipline." She began to pinch her own stomach after saying that. "Speaking of...", she said with a slight giggle, "I could probably use some discipline too. Thinking of joining a gym or something." Stacy wasn't "fat" per-say, but she wasn't her slenderest either. "You think if I lose some weight, it'll inspire you to do the same after your baby?"

Samantha came out of the closet with a few clothes on hangers when she heard coughing, "You okay? Don't drink so fast." "Yes, we can work out together. I can get a sitter so we can go to the gym. You are such a good friend Stacy. We have to get started on those wedding plans." "I should hire a planner right? I know I'm not the most organized person, and this calls for a professional. Its going to be huge." Samantha was ranting again, like she always did.

Stacy drank another glass of champagne before responding. "Yeah. A planner sounds great. Are they gonna pay for everything?" She almost belched, but closed her mouth at the last second, her cheeks puffing with gas. It created a burning sensation in her head, but at least she wasn't being to rude in her friend's place. "Because if it's big, it's gonna cost a lot."

"Both families are splitting the cost." Samantha backed up, "If you need to vomit, you can. The bathroom is right there. Just last night I puked." The door knocked. Sam jumped up and answered it. It was her black pepper jello, "Thanks Francis!" she came back over and started to pig out.
