Good. Hargitt smiled a bit at that, amused by the description of the boys sister. She certainly sounded like she could hold out for herself, and if she was with her mother than at least she wouldn't be alone. The free roaming father concerned him, though; instantly his mind surmised that it must be where the water part of his ancestry came from and that the man was-
Hargitt mentally shook himself. It wasn't far to judge the boy's family by the mistakes of his own.
For a moment he never noticed the stange creature. When he did it was because the kid was laughing, and he blinked, then furrowed his brow before looking down. Instantly immediately reacting he made a half turn, digging into his pack for a small, wooden bowl and the flaggon of water.
Hargitt bent at the knee, poured out a generous amount into the bowl, and sat it on the ground infront of the strange creature. "I don't like sweets, but maybe you would like some water."

Flana backed up and cocked her head curiously. As the water poured out, she gave a soft little trill and dropped her head to lap at the drink.
Koril watched Hargitt curiously, wondering about the suddenly long look on the man's face. Then the man snapped out of it and Koril's smile brightened. "You're very kind, Hargitt, sir!" he chirped. "Is there anything I can do for you? You helped me over there and gave me and Flana water; there's gotta be something I can do in return!"

You're very kind, Hargitt, sir! To have been called kind and sir in the same sentence was an odd experience for Hargitt. Neither word have ever been used to describe him before, and both made him soften just a touch around the teenager. He preyed to the Gods that his parents never let him travel alone because the world would consume his sweet heart.
"Be a good brother; that's all I ask." The world was a cruel and unjust place where parents often looked out for themselves over their own offspring. So long as siblings stood for one another they would at least have some semblance of family.

Koril's expression rose with surprise. With Kyril around and new babies on the way, Koril stuck out his chest and nodded. "I try to be! All the time!" Was Hargitt someone's brother then? Maybe a big brother like he was about to be!
Yes, he was enjoying Sauti now. Very much. Hearing his name, he looked over at his father waving to him, the big man holding a large bag over his shoulder. Grinning, he ran up to Hargitt and grabbed the man's hand again for another shake. "I hope I see you again someday! Tell your fiance I said hi! And be happy together! Papa and mama got laughed at for being together, but they love each other lots! It can work even if others don't think it should!" He just wanted to wish Hargitt all the best of everything, and probably would have if Flana hadn't nosed at his leg. Right. Time to go.

Hargitt canted his head to see the water (a water, just as suspected) waiting for his son. He frowned, but tried not to let it show. Just because he had been off on his own during the day didn't necessarily mean anything nefarious, and he wasn't about to cause more problems for the boy by making things awkward.
He was jolted out of his musings by the boy pumping his hand, breaching his personal space in a way that Hargitt wasn't entirely opposed to. He decided he liked the kid; naive as he may be, even if he wasn't too keen on all the hand shakes.
"Thank you." His smile frown turned to a small smile, light enough to match his tone. Watching the boy go off he could only hope that the kid lived a full and happy life before reality slammed into him.
