Eyebrows rose at the insistence of paying, but Daniel took the card without argument. If the young man wanted to shove money at him, who was he to complain? Some people simply didn't feel comfortable receiving freebies - very few, but they existed. Clearly Cassian was one of these men.
Ringing up the order took approximately thirty seconds. The order was methodically punched into the computer as if Daniel knew the keys by heart (which wasn't terribly far from the truth), the card swiped and the receipt carefully torn from the register paper.
He offered the card back to the young man, this time with a paper companion in the form of his receipt.
"Thank you for your business, sir." He was offered a head nod and then, once the card was received, his hand moved out in offering for a shake. "And hopefully, we'll be able to perform more of it tomorrow?"
