That question about paws...that's why there was a human standing right here. It wasn't such an impossible idea that the general King might be willing to help with holding the card to swipe? At least one guardian cat, a little black one, was enthusiastic and decided to take matters into her own hands, or mouth as the case was, and the russian blue almost wanted to clap for the little thing - it was cute.
However her attention was quickly grabbed by the appearence of the one cat she almost hoped wouldn't turn up - Lyssa. Watching as she chewed her card to death before deciding to bash her head against the card, and thus the floor, Katya for a single solitary moment felt like banging her own head - so she could pass out and avoid all of this insanity.
Turning her green eyes to Bob she motioned to Lyssa. "That is Lyssa...I fear she may be a broken model, sort to speak. According to my General she has some bits of insight but it's hidden amongst the insanity." She stated with a rather dry tone of voice. Her green eyes moving back to Lyssa. The poor red furred cat might just beat what little sanity she had remaining out of her little head, though she almost might beat some sense into her head. Knowing how Lyssa was had kept Katya from hissing, swatting at, or even biting the red furred cat when Lyssa had entered and insisted on rubbing up against her. Had the other female guardian cat been covered in anything though all bets were off on Katya being nice, she had just gotten cleaned at the groomers!
She might have gone to check on Lyssa, and the little black kitty, but it seemed they were walking and following the General King. Standing up she took the time to stretched, letting out a purring sound as she did so, before moving to follow.
Taking in everything they came across the russian blue found herself more than pleased with how the interior looked - they had a place of their own. As much as she wanted to get her paws onto one of the computers, and see just what might be on it, she stood and listened to Axinite speak. As he talked about the portal for transportation she turned her eyes to the two responsible for it and nodded her head. "That's good work - it'll help us all a lot.' Even though she lived with a General, and Lieutenant, it would help her as well especially if she wasn't home and needed a quick escape.
She did however have one question. "I do wonder though...the youma don't like us. They cannot get in here I assume. Could we perhaps know what is keeping them from coming in here, as I'm rather aware of their dislike for guardian cats." And it wasn't like youma didn't wander the castle as well. She just wanted to know how it was safe here, since she was sure it was. No one would risk all the guardian cats so easily.Ghouliboo Thanks...guess you smart. And Lyssa...she's insane. Matisha Katya knows you are nuts...but damn that gotta hurt. chi honda Mention. Come to mother Katya and sit with her. AdoxographicContent Thank you for a transport portal.

Well color him impressed.
He knew about the portal - for obvious reasons, of course - but the rest came as just as much of a surprise to him as it did to the other cats. Maybe these humans weren't so bad with their technological skills, after all?
Managing to drag his card through the swipe long enough for it to recognize his presence, the mangy Mau dropped his plastic card on the floor and sauntered in after the General King and the Guardians who had entered before him.
Lyssa had been a curious one, Katya explaining to him the...erm, reasoning behind her peculiarities. An odd duck, but at least there was some explanation to her quirkiness - he'd have assumed inbreeding, but it was blessedly just plain 'ol insanity at its finest.
He quietly sat down, watching the General King explain the room and its purpose for the handful of Guardian Cats that had shown up to the meeting. Perhaps - just perhaps - he might find himself proving useful for the Negaverse's needs, with these clever sort of contraptions at his disposal.

“An excellent question,” Axinite replied, smiling to Katya. “While only you and the General Kings, or anyone above us, may enter this area, you may bring a guest with you. I can only hope they will be respectful, but if they aren’t, there is a defense mechanism preprogrammed into this entire area. There is a button over here,” he moved to a small red button that looked innocent enough when compared to all the other buttons on the console. “It will teleport anyone who doesn’t have clearance to access your Headquarters to the central foyer of the Castle. As long as you don’t open the door for anyone you don’t trust—youma included—you should be safe. No one can teleport into this room, so you will be in full control over who comes in, should you decide to bring guests.” He moved to the front of the room. “We’ve taken a lot of time to try and improve based on some of your requests. We’ve got work benches and tools—for all your needs. If we’re missing tools or you need new materials, please just fill out a form on one of the computers or come see me in my office. Any needs can also be submitted—I’m sure we’ve missed some things. Which brings me to the next topic—we haven’t really had a formal discussion on this, but I’d like to take a moment to let you know that we are extremely receptive to requests. I haven’t had a lot of time to work with many of you, but you control a very unique position in the Negaverse. I have a few more important things on my list to go over, but if any of you have thoughts or suggestions to make your life a little easier, the platform is yours. Alternatively, please feel free to come see me in my office if you would like to propose anything or hold a more private discussion.”

Tiberius's chest puffed out proudly at the recognition. It had been a lot of work to get the portals working properly - singed fur (which smelled awful by the way), frazzled whiskers, sore toe beans. A lot of swearing. And one damaged desk. In the end, the results spoke for themselves: the Mauvian Nega HQ would have a 'cat door' to allow them to go back and forth without having to hitch rides on random officers. Of course, they only had the one portal up and running, but Tibs was certain that Axinite would see more installed in various places. The thought made him lick his chops and shift his feet as he padded around the new Mau digs, his key-card having been swiped and poofed to his own subspace hidey-hole. With a little hop, the mackerel tabby hopped onto a small raised chair and lifted a paw. "I can confirm the veracity of this statement." Okay, he was done using the big words, "He's pretty good about getting stuff handled." Tibs looked up at Axinite thoughtfully, "Might wanna put a scratching post in your office. That desk of yours is tempting to claws." Axinite may - or may not have - known that he'd be getting a long list of requests from Tiberius shortly (along with anything the others thought of). He was a greedy cat, wanting tools and parts and crystals to play with. The age of the Mau is upon the Negaverse! Oh, the wonders we'll make with Dandy's pocketbook and our brains...

A scratching post?
Not bad, Tibby, not bad.
Bob himself would have probably asked for a snack section, but he also didn't want to push his luck with the Boss Man and their requests. If anything, he figured he could probably con a kid or two to supply him with tuna or chicken wings in exchange for some assistance with their technical support.
Then again, he could always just break their stuff so that they had a reason to approach him with a bribe request....
Smiling to himself, Bob listened patiently to their commander as he explained how the process went for requests and how the teleportation device worked. Once they found some more secure locations, surely more spots would open up - the Maine Coon was simply happy that there was at least one way to get to Negaspace without piggybacking, now.
His tail swooshed against the cold stone flooring as he listened to the General-King continue on with his list of important things that he'd clearly felt the Maus needed to be privy to.
Hey... if he wanted to give them stuff, who was Bob to complain about it?

Axinite smiled politely at the suggestion. “We’ll see,” he assured, but after a moment of allowing the Mauvians to soak in that information, he insisted, “There’s no rush to come up with anything now. As I said, my office is always open. I would like to discuss something we’ve been working on, though. “Last year, I mentioned a project—to replace the communication crystal and implement higher functioning tablets? I’m proud to say that they have completed all testing and are ready to be distributed. We will be releasing them early next week but, as our resident technological geniuses, you will all be getting one now.” Quote: Negaverse Tablets Negaverse Tablets are being implemented to replace the outdated Communication Crystals! These tablets have two forms; when not in use it will appear to be a thin silver rod approximately eight inches long. A purple crystal is embedded in one end. The pen has a button on the side that will allow an agent to speak into the pen like a microphone to record a message that can then be sent out as a distress message; this button also sends out the message with a GPS location. The pen can be pulled apart into two halves, connected by a metal strip that will allow the halves to be pulled up to a foot apart. Once the two halves have been pulled apart, a holographic touch screen will appear. The tablets are charged by the tiny purple crystal; visits to the Negaverse can recharge the tablet in as little as three hours. The crystals will hold a charge of sixty hours of active use; if an agent cannot access Negaspace or needs a quick charge, gathered energy can be siphoned into the crystal to extend its life. The tablet screen allows access to several applications, however access to them is dependent on a facial recognition scan. If the tablet detects the face of anyone other than a member of the Negaverse, it will immediately shut down. Current Applications include: The Negaverse Database: This application links to the database outside of the Dark Kingdom however does not allow information to be uploaded like the computers in Negaspace. Information can be accessed from here but cannot be edited.
Messaging: A messaging system on the tablet allows the agent to record a message and send to anyone else in the Negaverse or type a message to be delivered to their account.
Camera: A camera that allows pictures or video to be taken; flash is optional. While it can capture sound, the microphone will only pick up noises within ten feet. Every member of the Negaverse will be assigned a tablet and an account to sign on with it. If the tablet is damaged they need to take it to a Mauvian for repair. No one cannot access any tablet but their own. He moved to the workbench behind him and picked up a basket filled with pens; he began passing them out to each Mauvian. “While I would like to request that you not edit the technology on these without permission, you are free to alter these to fit your needs. I understand that they are designed to fit human hands, but these models should be a bit more comfortable for paws. Still, you may modify the physical design to allow easy of use for yourselves. For all models though, they will need to stay up to date with the current system. We’ll be adding applications as they become available—if you, or any agent—has suggestions, we are extremely eager to hear them. I also have manuals,” he nodded to the table and a stack of papers. “Please help yourself to one. My hope is that we can count on you to help with the repairs and updates.”

Listening to the General King speak the mauvian was more than happy to see these tablets when he mentioned them. If they were easier on her paws than Benitoite's cell phone, and computer, she would be happy - those things hurt to use. It wasn't just that it hurt but it was difficult to use due to her paws being what they were. This, she assumed, would be easier for her paws. If not she was sure it could always be modified.
Taking the offered pen tool she took a look over it. Well, it looked easy to carry about, plus there was subspace too, and she happen to like the small basic form it took, easy to carry in her mouth if need be.
When he mentioned modifications she smiled, if it didn't work on her little paws she would modify it - since it was permissible. "I think one of the first applications we should work on, if anyone wishes to work with me, would perhaps be a flashlight. Some officers may find themself in need of it." She had been with Benitoite in some rather dark places where a flashlight would be useful, not for herself but rather for him.
"If anyone would like to work on such a project with me? If it isn't already in the works." She ventured, looking about at those gathered around herself.

In his desire to be respectful to the General-King, Theodore didn't grace the striped cat with a response, watching as Axnite assisted him with swiping the card. He was a smaller cat than the two Maine Coon looking ones, things that required more height weren't as simple for him.
Plus, lack of hands. Oh how he wished he had human hands.
Accepting the pen he glanced at the table with the manuals as pointed out. Wrinkling his little nose he pawed at the pen. "If there's not already a simplified step-by-step set up tutorial, my thoughts are that perhaps we should work on one. For the lesser technologically inclined. Metallia knows that people refuse to read manuals if given the option."
Theodore was one of them, it was probably a pridely manner and some people just couldn't get technology unless it was painstakingly dumbed down after all.

The way the orange-haired boss-man politely deflected his suggestion of a scratching post was posh as hell and very politik - Tiberius could appreciate that sort of answer-that-isn't answer for what it was. He'd also found Theodore's lack of reply to be similarly politik, rather than rude - Axinite was trying to not focus on the minute as he obviously had further things to offer up to the gathered technofelines. His ears perked up further at the mention of the previous project to replace or update the com crystals (which really, Tiberius had seen his General and her sycophants using 'em...an update was hella overdue in his not-so-humble opinion); Tibs shifted on his seat, tail lashing in an excited manner. Sweet! Cat door, new high-quality HQ, swanky digs all around and we get to test out the newest com tech? Sign me the hell up!As soon as Tiberius got one of the new tablets, he sat back so he could inspect the ease at which a feline sans hands would be able to access it - a little difficult, but not impossible - maybe easier with some little fabric or metal loops on either side? Ones that were flush with the metal until you pressed to release them...good for Mauvians as well as homo sapiens. Tibs looked down from his perch at Katya and flashed his teeth a bit, "Good idea, sweetness. Flashlights are always useful - maybe 140 lumens or so? Or would two settings be better, low at 90, high at 140?Anyway, it'll be a great idea..and I'm happy to give ya' a hand." He stretched his pen out into tablet form and tested how well it responded to paw pads - excellent. He could definitely work with this hot little number. "Hey Boss, Might wanna put some metal grips or loop on the other side. Something that lays flush until you press it up, y'know. Make these sweet little pens easier to bring to tablet mode? It's pretty smooth now, even with paws, but I'll probably be doing it for myself - might be a good thing all around. Wouldn't really change the look, either." If Axinite had thought he could unveil technology to the Mauvians without being offered a dozen ideas for fixes, features, apps and more...well, he'd not spent nearly enough time in the company of feline aliens. Tibs felt that his continued aid with technology for the Negaverse was something that didn't really need to be said, but even so he made sure to vocally infer this knowledge to the General King as he closed his tablet, tucked it into subspace, and went after the paper manual. "Count me in." He would probably rope Bob in as well, since he liked to work with the big orange tom.

Bob accepted his own pen graciously, listening rather quietly as the General King explained what it was and how it worked. A few of the other cats already had questions of their own, Katya the priss had a suggestion, with Tibs making his own points.
The snooty little cat with the top hat was inquiring about making things more simple for the dunces of their faction, but all Bob could think about was how this new contraption was going to allow him to pester most of the cuties for selfies, returning the favor with some of his own.
Important priorities, after all.

Axinite found himself nodding with each suggestion. To Kaya and Tiberius, he nodded. “A flashlight application is not in the works, you would be free to develop one if you think it could benefit our officers. We’ll see what we can do about grips.” He smiled to Theodore, then. “Upon first log in there is a small tutorial, though it can be skipped. There is a resource application available if anyone forgets how to do things, but if you notice anything the tutorial is missing, please let us know. We will have a few days still before it is officially released, so there’s still time to make adjustments.” Afterwards, he cleared his throat. “And, not to move off the topic of tablets, but before I lose you to them—There is one final bit of business. Laurelite has made a list,” he adjusted the paper on his clipboard to give it a quick scan. “Of changes. Primarily, we’ve had an influx of requests to upgrade our Corrupted Senshi. While I am always happy and eager to speak with any agent during or after promotion, you have an innate ability to know when a Senshi is ready to access the next stage of power. Metallia’s power can be accessed in specific ways—primarily, the General Sovereigns act as conduits for her power. You, however, have a unique relationship with Senshi that I will never be able to replicate. Laurelite has proposed a change to procedure around here. In any instance where you feel a Senshi is ready to upgrade, you may reach out to any General Sovereign and discuss their promotion. We’ll review the file together and, if approved, you may personally upgrade the Senshi without assistance. Well,” he paused. “Without direct assistance.” He reached into his pocket and removed a small, glistening crystal. “Crystals like these can easily be charged and store Metallia’s power. After a meeting with a General Sovereign, if your nomination is approved, you will be provided with one of these crystals. They have a limited use—only one—and can be used while you upgrade your Senshi. They may have questions—questions you can help them answer, or you can direct them to the appropriate Branch leader.” He returned the crystal to his pocket. “I should say that we are incredibly grateful for everything that you do. Truly, we wouldn’t be what we were without you. I know many of you are busy doing your own thing, but you are all valuable assets to the Negaverse. We still have a long way to go, but I have faith that your expertise and abilities will help guide us into a new era. I want to thank you for your time, I know this is a bit to digest. If you have any questions, as always I am here to answer—or you may schedule an appointment with me and I will make time for you.” Quote: The meeting is now officially over! Questions can still be directed toward Axinite, but this is the last of the informational posts! The Mauvian Information thread will be updated to include the information released in this thread and will have a complete update after the Order Mauvian ORP concludes! We’ll release an announcement when this happens, so please keep your eyes peeled! In the meantime: Quote: Chaos Mauvians can now upgrade Corrupted Senshi! To do this they simply upgrade the Henshin pen and focus on the Senshi’s starseed to help them unlock more strength. While Corrupted Mauvians have the ability to do this, they must speak with a General Sovereign to get permission to do so. They can report to any General Sovereign to submit a report on the Senshi they feel is ready to upgrade; if the General Sovereign approves, they will be given a small Chaos crystal and can use it to siphon more Chaos into the Senshi’s starseed and upgrade their Henshin Pen. The crystals lose their charge after one use and it is impossible to acquire one without a General Sovereign. The Mauvian player can handwave a meeting with a General Sovereign or roleplay it out, depending on player needs! If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask in the MQ&A or PM the shop mule!

Looking the larger cat over Katya nodded her head once. "The help would be much appreciated, we can get it done faster and sent out to officers for download." As the General King said, there were no plans for a flashlight application. Getting one done and available as soon as possible would be a good idea, help would thus be needed.
"We can talk about it after this?" She questioned Tiberius before fixing her gaze back onto the General King, her own new communicator vanishing into subspace. The idea of metal grips, or loops, on the sides of the pen was a good idea, it was a bit more than a convenience for a guardian cat as it would help greatly. The poor General King, roll out new technology and already there were ideas on how to improve it - he should have expected it.
Wait...what was happening? She had always been able to help in corrupting - naming them. But never could she directly awaken a senshi to chaos - she knew this. But she could at least now power them up? Something she had sort of known, when they were ready, but something she had absolutely no part in. The change, as it was announced, brought a smile to the russian blues face.
"I have one question. In time can a way be worked out so we can awaken a potential senshi - like orders guardian cats can? For those cases where we may run into someone with the potential to be a senshi but we are without an officer? In order to avoid losing the potential agent as we wait for someone to assist us in the corrupting? I know people have busy lives and may not always be able to drop what they are doing in order to assist us. I would rather not potentially lose someone to order." No, she was a greedy little thing that wanted all the senshi to serve chaos - and be her little babies.
But seriously, how hard was it to keep up with someone or keep them from running while also calling for backup and waiting for it to arrive? By then the person could run, and a guardian cat couldn't exactly stop a person if they decided to flee...or maybe they could but it wasn't exactly an easy, or safe, thing to do.

Theodore's pink eyes appeared to narrow for a split second before the scrutiny disappeared quickly. The mauvian hummed, thought it sounded a bit like a purr when he picked up his pen and tossed it into subspace with all things he deemed useful and useless. The persian was about ready to take off and test the teleporter that...scruff and raggedy appeared to have helped build and see if it lived up to the hype.
The prissy cat was over all impressed with the work both larger cats had done, but he wasn't about to admit that. Not until they continued to impress him.
Theodore had standards after all.
Axnite's next announcement had little cat ears swiveling with interest. So, they wouldn't need to directly sit at the feet of a general-sovereign to assist their chosen. Theodore liked to think that he was above it all, because his senshi was already the best. She was an eternal, but he supposed this would be useful for the other senshi he deemed worth his time.
With the meeting concluding, the chocolate colored cat took his leave. (Before some mangy ginger tried to make off with his hat. Yeah, he saw the way you were looking at it Bob.)

Ah, more excuse to do paperwork.
His nose wrinkled, but Bob remained uncharacteristically silent as the General King finished his presentation. While being given more power was delightful... how did the phrase go? With great power came great responsibility? And responsibility sounded dreadfully a lot like work.
Nodding his head respectfully, the large Mauvian took one paw and flipped his tie over his shoulder before rising from his seat. The pen was cast into the subspace for later use - he would have to play with it more, once he'd found himself a bite to eat and a bed to curl up on first.
Casting the others a glance (because my, what an assortment of cats they made), he turned and took his own exit.
He'd hit up one or two of the others later to mooch off their ideas... maybe. If he was feeling productive. Otherwise, he was going to focus his attention on how well this new little camera worked.

"Sure thing princess." Tiberius wasn't trying to be dismissive of the obviously papered gal, but it was just...sort of how he talked to dames. Mostly because the lady he'd spent a lot of time with had been into Cagney. "You got my undivided attention, once red here's done with us." Orange, red...near enough. The fact that Axinite's hair was road cone orange was neither here nor there to the Mauvian. He was busy ingesting the news about corruptions - about the special, awesome crystals they could acquire for their charges. It was exciting as hell. After the announcement, the posh boy popped off, then Bob, leaving Tibs with Katya, Lyssa, Haymitch, and the others..including that waifish little kitten. Leaving was an idea and Tiberius thought about following his bestie, but he'd already stated he'd talk to the papered princess, so his furry butt stayed in his seat. "Good meeting, Boss. Great job, all around." One last bit of praise for Axinite, then he was poking at the computer he'd been sitting in front of, waiting for Katya to disengage his Nibs.
