You've entered the swamp alongside a few volunteers in hopes to locate the lost Pixie and bring them home. Unfortunately, there isn't a map of the swamp, as ponies haven't dared to enter it since the burning of Briar Town. Armed with only sheer determination, there's an optimistic hope in the air. There's so many of you, surely you'll find the poor pony!
As a group, you enter the swamp, carefully avoiding the thick and black water skirting around the only path inside the swamp. You can't see in the water, but there's a feeling that should you enter it then you might not come back out. The swamp is eerie, covered in bones of deceased animals and trees that almost resemble tendrils. Everything is a dusky color, and it seems as if the light abruptly turns into shadows when you enter the swamp. Wasn't it just morning when you entered?
In the distance you can see a flickering light. After squabbling within the group, it's decided you'll approach. As you come closer it's apparent the light belongs to a wooden cabin. It's small, and exudes an unwelcoming aura. However, someone is inside. Is it perhaps the witch rumors speak of? If it isn't, though, they could provide help, perhaps? You collect to consider your options, and in the process find a carrot plushie, adding it to your bags.
The decision is up to you, will you?:
A.) Walk up to the cabin and knock on the door. B.) Ignore the cabin and instead look nearby for clues.
You may RP within this thread and take time to pick your decision! The next round will be on May 6th around noon!

Pony Playing:Blackswirl Option Taken: A.) Walk up to the cabin and knock on the door.
RP Response: B.S. has heard about rumors of the witch, and though they haven't all been good, he knew better to judge someone until he met them for themselves. He went to the door, becoming more nervous as he approached, and slowly
Pony Playing: Spring Rain Option Taken: B Ignore the cabin and instead look nearby for clues.
RP Response: Spring Rain was happy to help and even more so happy to find a carrot plushie though, that was an off thing to find out in the swamp. She used her unicorn magic to put it in her bag. She then looked up at the cabin that was rumored to have a witch living there. She saw that another pony was already knocking on the door, so Spring decided to look around to see if there were any more plushies laying around. After all, if there was one amusing thing there could very well be more amusing things to find and more puddles to jump in!!

Pony Playing:Berri Berri Option Taken: A) Walk up to the cabin and knock on the door.
RP Response: Berri had no fear, she didn't believe a witch with all their mystical powers would want to live in a tiny cabin in the swamp. Surely this was all just some old wives-tale that was spread to put fear into the hearts of foals. Either way she figured they would have some answers for her. And if not she could always look around later.
Pony Playing:Dawn Frost Option Taken: A.) Walk up to the cabin and knock on the door.
RP Response: Dawn Frost was never one to shy from a challenge, which was why she'd volunteered to try and find the pixie in the first place. When they came upon the cabin, she listened to the others as they discussed what to do and weighed her options. It was certainly possible that someone hostile could be living in this home, but one or more was still surely no match for their group entirely! With that thought in mind, she put her faith in the others to back her up if this went awry and went up to knock on the door.

Pony Playing: Windy Melody Option Taken: A.) Walk up to the cabin and knock on the door.
RP Response: Windy was always a soft and mellow pony, not really one to do anything outrageous but when he heard of the missing pixies, his heart wept for them. The soft stallion never settled well with the thought of other's suffering or hurting so he signed up to be a part of the group that would hopefully find the missing ponies safe return. However as he stumbled upon the cabin, his heart lodged in his throat. If the rumors were true then... knocking on that door could spell certain doom... but if on the off chance they were simply just that - rumors - then he'd be missing an opportunity to help. Swallowing the lump in his throat, he bit his bottom lip and cantered towards the others that also chose to test the cabin.
RP Response: Sand wasn't exactly sure why he had entered this place, and was seriously reconsidering looking for this Pixie pony. He was not meant for this sort of place at all. It was dark, creepy, and made him wonder if he would make it out alive. However, he followed the others and eventually came upon the carrot plush and the cabin.
He considered for a moment going into the cabin, but decided to look around for other clues instead. Sure, the pixie could have gone into the cabin, but maybe they eventually left? Especially if it didn't have food and stuff. One couldn't stay there forever. He 'ewwed' a bit as he continued to look around the disgusting swamp, seeing if he could actually find anything. Though he doubted it considering that it seemed to swallow everything that went into it.

Pony Playing: Candisweet Option Taken: A.) Walk up to the cabin and knock on the door.
RP Response: Candi wasn't sure why she volunteered for this. What did she care if this Pixie came home or not. She huffed in annoyance at herself as she walked into the swamp and was suddenly surrounded by darkness. "Great," she grumbled to herself. She ended up being the one to go up to the door, of course. Still grumbling to herself, she only paused when she found a carrot plushie. At least she'd get something out of this stupid trip. Lifting a hoof, she knocked on the door. "Hello?" she called.
Pony Playing: Flower Sun Option Taken: B.) Ignore the cabin and instead look nearby for clues.
RP Response: The swamp was horrific enough. Flower Sun shook his mane, not wanting to even think about getting near it. A light flickered in the distance and the stallion looked up towards that direction. It was to a cabin, and Flower Sun was not willing to explore towards that area. He preferred the wide open, rather than exploring a secluded building. A carrot plushie was found on the floor, and he decided to explore, looking for other goodies and clues around.

Pony Playing:Morning Glow Option Taken: B.) Ignore the cabin and instead look nearby for clues.
RP Response:
Things would be a lot easier if they had a map, but since they didn't, they'd just have to search it the best they could. Morning Glow was confident that they would be able to find the lost pixie, especially with how many volunteers there were.
She just didn't care much for the swamp. It was eerie and shadowy, and she didn't like it at all. It was unwelcoming, and the small cabin that they found was no better. There was a chance that the pony inside might know of the pixie, but on the other hoof, the cabin was unlikely to go anywhere.
It'd be better to search outside first, she decided, and as just as she started to search, found a carrot plushie. How strange. She put it into her bag, and then began to search more seriously for clues.

Pony Playing: Dusk Plum Option Taken: A.) Walk up to the cabin and knock on the door.
RP Response:
Having some wilderness sense Dusk felt confident in joining the search party for the young Pixie. It was up to the community in crisis situations such as these to come together to help in whatever way that they could and if it were him lost on one of his gathering trips he would have hoped others come looking for him too, so there wasn't a question of whether or not he would join the search.
Traversing the swamp however was dangerous in and of itself and if the ponies who came to help the search wanted to comb the watery forest safely they needed to do so smartly and within talking distance of each other given how dense the brush could be out here. "We didn't want to loose someone else and make the search twice as hard no do we?" He thought to himself watching his paces away from the group concious not to stray too far from eyes view of the group and that's when he noticed it. Not because he had spotted it first but because he followed the groups gaze towards a cabin in the distance. He like just about every pony who joined the search knew well enough about the rumours, but now there was a choice to be made.
Dusk knowing that time was precious thought it smart even if the pony they found in that cabin was a witch to kindly ask for their assistance. Maybe they heard or saw something, at the very least they would know the swamp better than themselves and could be in some assistance if they were good natured enough to join in on the groups effort. It was worth the risk in his mind, and how he rationalised it some ponies were just too quick to judge none main stream magic using ponies. Especially those who may choose a less than ordinary place to live.

Pony Playing:Aster Option Taken: A.) Walk up to the cabin and knock on the door.
RP Response: Aster felt the need to join the search for the lost Pixie and as such was with them as they walked into the swamp. He noticed the change in light and wondered how exactly that was achieved. Was it some strange property of the swamp itself or was someone making it that way?
As he pondered on those questions he steadily began to drop behind the group. He ended up towards the back of the group and was one of the last ponies to see the light in the distance. A light that turned out to come from a cabin... a very unwelcoming cabin. He gulped slightly when he caught sight of the cabin and quickly glanced down considering his options. He noticed a carrot plushie on the ground at his feet and tilted his head. He used his magic to lift it up and then put it in his bag.
He then looked up and saw that some ponies had approached the cabin and others appeared to be searching outside. While looking around outside might yield some clues, he thought the better choice was to knock at the door. Who knows maybe the cabin's owner was friendlier than the cabin looked. He slowly walked up to the group at the cabin's door to join them.

Pony Playing: Buckwheat Option Taken: A.) Walk up to the cabin and knock on the door.
RP Response: Buck snorted, sending the thick braid of her mane flying with an impatient toss of her head. Pixies! Who could imagine? She had a hard enough time believing that little ponies with diaphanous flutter wings were among them, much less that one was silly enough to get lost in the Willows. The spirited mare sniffed at the creepy surrounds, her eyes narrowed. What business would a pixie even have in the swamp? Add that to the questions she'd be asking their little wayward soul.
First, though, they had to find her. Having a map would be nice, but it couldn't be helped - better, then, to ask the one person who was actually familiar with the area. Buck joined the group approaching the cabin. Perhaps it was a terrifying witch; she'd never see one before, and much like the pixie, it would be an experience. Perhaps, instead, it was just someone who liked living in all this unpleasantness. In that case, hopefully they would fine with them being in and out of their hair quickly.
...And hopefully, they weren't missing a...carrot? Why was there a carrot on the ground? Buck picked up the offending vegetable, gingerly bearing the stuffy into her saddlebag. How weird.
