Under different circumstances, that comment would have been flattering, one he would have gladly accepted and rewarded with a smile. But not coming from this guy. He was just mocking him again. “A pretty thing that flits about, am I? I’d say that ‘Viper’ would be more fitting…” Leukos rested his forearm above Saj’s head, gripping at his chin and tipping it up. “Beautiful to watch… entrancing. But if you get too close, let your guard down... you’ll be punished with a deadly strike.” He pressed closer, grinning down icily at him. “Only foolish little boys play with snakes…”
Why was… why was he doing this? Somewhere along the way, his fuming anger had morphed into something else, something that saw this as a… challenge? To prove what? That he was the one who should be calling the shots? That what had happened that first night had been a fluke, a mistake?
No, that wasn’t it.
He wanted to show this guy that he should not have underestimated him. He didn’t know what he was dealing with.
Leukos needed to enlighten him.

Leukos’ grip caught at his chin as he loomed in, tipping his face up, and immediately Sajah’s eyes trained on his mouth.
Only foolish little boys play with snakes…
His toes crimped a fraction in his boots, and eager, tickling thrill licking under his skin. His lips stretched back to bare teeth, grinning back to meet the one angled down at him—with none of the ice or venom Leu’s had, but just as much of a spark for challenge. «And what do I look like to you, Butterfly? A mouse? You have me ‘entranced’…I am quaking waiting for you to eat me.»

His eyes flicked to the cocky grin Sajah was wearing on his face, the same one he’d been toting around ever since their night together. But this time, he wasn’t going to let it get to him. The ball was in Leukos’ court. He was going to control how the game played out this time.
So he squeezed Saj’s cheeks in his large grasp and slid his knee up between his legs, murmuring in a silken purr, “No, you silly little thing. I’m not going to eat you…” His hand moved from above Sajah’s head, grasping the knob on the door by his hip and twisting, pushing him into the dark hallway inside as it swung open, grinning wolfishly as he shut it behind him. “I’m going to f―ck you.”

Leukos’ grip tightened. Sajah felt his pulse thrum under his chin, high in his throat with heat in his ears. No, you silly thing… The knee wedged between his legs was warm pressure, and he didn’t mean to, precisely, but his hips jutted up an inch of their own accord, rocking to the press and towards Leukos.
Then he was being dragged up, around, and shoved — cooperative, but still half-stumbling for a moment in startlement to catch his balanced as he glanced down the long—dark, empty hall. The door shut behind him. Them. And shadow, like a shroud, pulled thick over everything. He held still as his eyes adjusted, feeling his pupils dilate in the black to pick up any stray thread of light.
I’m going to f—ck you.
He was still standing in the hall, a handful of steps in from the door, perhaps a pace away from Leu with his back to him, and Sajah was potently aware that he was alone with a man he did not know well, in a dark and decrepit building in the impoverished portion of town where anyone that did hear or suspect anything they might be doing behind the closed door was unlikely to care. If he died here, Nyko might never find him or know.
He turned, thumbs hooking loosely at his belt as he drew his eyes down what of Leu he could see in the near-dark. All of him was far too interested in everything. It may have been wiser to bolt. Instead, he lifted his hands, signing in the near-dark. «I’m waiting.»

It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the sudden darkness, but it wouldn’t have mattered anyways: Leukos had been coming through that door and up this hallway for enough days now that he’d have been able to navigate it in the dark. This unsavory building was where he was being subjected to reside now, because he no longer had the means to support his usual high standards. Because of the s**t in front of him.
And he was tired of taking lip from this silent mute.
He closed the distance between them in one long stride, and in one fluid motion, knelt down to grab Sajah at the knees, tipping him over his shoulder as Leukos stood again. He felt warmth prickling along his neck and down his spine, from irritation and frustration. But undeniably there was something else there as well: excitement. Then he was moving down the hall and up the stairs, wordlessly fishing the key out of his waistband to unlock the door to his room. As it swung open, he strode in and dumped Saj to the ground, not really giving a damn in what position he landed in or how hard the wood floor was, turning to lock the door behind him. Don’t need any interruptions. It’s just you and me now.
Then he was right back over to where Sajahka had landed, grabbing whatever fabric was nearest to drag him to the wall, crouching to hoist him back up. Then his teeth were at his neck and a hand at his pants, tugging them loose.
“I’m going to devour you.”
