Shura looked over at Tri for a moment and said, "Of course! They probably know that you want to know what they taste like." She told him in a teasing manner before turning back to inspect all of the pups as they bounced around and squeaked in a manner that made it rather difficult to decide upon one of them. They were just all so precious, weren't they? She just wanted to take every last one of the adorable little 'water kitties' home with her. She wanted to... but she wouldn't, not wanting to end up overwhelmed by them.

After a moment she spotted one in the crowd of them that stuck out to her, one that was blue in color and... and... she gave a gasp, "Tri! That one has different colored eyes!" She said, pointing at the one that had one brown eye and one gold eye. Giving a squeak of her own she leaned over, scooping up the blue zanteer pup, hugging it to her chest, "You're the one that has to come home with me, cutie!"

Shura turned as her friend of sorts gave a yelp, watching him withdraw a hand that had gotten nipped by one of the babies, "Oh... dear. Well you have to watch out for them! They have baby teeth still and those are really a lot sharper then normal ones. I'm sure it wasn't trying to be mean though, it's just how they play! Maybe that one liked you?" Hard to say though since she hadn't exactly been paying attention.

Nuzzling her cheek against the blue zanteer's head she asked of Tri, "Do you want to keep playing with them or shall we go to the one in charge and pay for this baby?" She'd found the one that she wanted and she didn't want to let herself get tempted into getting more of the pups.

She nodded her head, "Yeah, you gotta give them a bit of leeway since they are still learning." She said as she smiled down at the baby that she was holding in her arms in a careful and loving manner. At the mention of her going to pay while he waited here... then asked if he should follow her instead she gave thoughtful hum, then said, "I'm good either way, but yeah I will pay for this little guy right away. That way nobody else shows up thinking they can buy him out from under me."

If anyone tried that she was likely to punch them square in the face though... so she kinda hoped nobody was stupid enough to try. Giving a happy sound she walked over to where the one in charge was. After a moment of chatter between the two of them, with Shura being sure to name drop her father's name as a means of getting a bit of a discount, she was done. The baby was all bought and paid for, and she was on top of the world.

"Alright! Let's go Tri. Time to find you some lunch before the grumbling of your belly starts to scare my 'water kitty'."

Shura snuggled the zanteer, nuzzling against its soft, blue fur, before she looked over at Tri, "Hm? Oh! His name is Bushi and he's only the best merchant that ever did... erm, do merchant things." She gave a happy smile as she thought about her kind father before she said, "If you go to to the market place in Sulburi at all I'm sure you've seen him. He's a big man with a big beard that travels with a rust red bushi and a bright blue Kinfa." He wasn't easy to miss.

Walking along she turned to look over Tri she gave him a smile then lifted a hand to pat him on the head in a manner the same that she'd done to the zanteer pup, "There, there. It's fine! No reason for you to worry since you can always make friends with them another time!" She gave a grin and said in a teasing manner, "Just remember to make friends with them not make dinner with them. So! Speaking of food... what do you want to eat, Tri?"

Shura blinked a couple times before she burst into laughter, unable to help it. The way that he'd just come out and described her father as being 'the chubby guy' which was an apt description but not the one she'd expected. One would think he'd talk him up as a way of sucking up to her or something. Instead he went for the obvious description, which amused the hybrid girl greatly. Giving him a smile once she got her giggles in check she said, "Yeah, that sounds about right for him."

Her giggles picked up again as he said that he 'not eat a zanteer' but after that said he'd 'eat anything' which was amusing to her. It was like he was trying to reassure her but at the same time was up for eating anything she'd get for him. It was a bit like dealing with the stray perzi that lived in and around the marketplace. They too liked to beg for food and were fine with anything that you would toss to them. After a moment of thought she said, "We will go to the place where they grill up various bits of meat on wooden sticks. It's cheap and plentiful so I should be able to feed you well enough."

At the pat on her head she waved a hand at him then set to fixing her hair, sticking her tongue out at him as she did.

Giving a pout she said, "Well, your hair is already messy so I figured that you would be fine if I ruffled it a bit! It even looks a bit neater now." She told him, giving a bit of a giggle, unable to help it. It was amusing to continue to tease the strange young man.

It didn't take long before she could smell the cooking of the meat, something that had her smiling a bit, "There we go! Smells good." She said, hurrying forward a bit quicker. As she went the little one in her arms set to squirming wildly in her grasp. It seemed that the scent of meat was something that the zanteer pup really wanted as well. Giving a bit of a laugh Shura said, "No, no... there is nothing for you at this place. I have something for you. Some dried fish treats."

She patted the beast on the head before turning to look at Tri, "We will order food for us and after we sit to eat we will get him something too."

Shura set to giggling, seeming as though she found it quite amusing to see Tri purposefully messing up his hair even more so then it already was. It seemed as though he had no interest in fancying himself up, huh? That was pretty funny. Especially to someone like Shura who held her looks in high regard, not liking to go anywhere without looking good. So different from when she was little in that regard at least. She got into as much trouble as she did when she was little, but now she did so while looking good.

Going through the meat she said, "They have a lot to choose from. Do you want to pick or do you not what to know what your meal used to be before it became meat chunks on a stick?" She wasn't sure if knowing it's origin would brother Tri or not... but surely when you looked as hungry as him you wouldn't let such things get to you. Right? Hard to say really since she didn't know him all that well yet.

Moving forward Shura set to work ordering some of each kind of of grilled meat sticks. A few of each type would be good by her. They should share them and she'd let Tri decide which were his favorites. After that and provided they ate everything, she'd buy him more.
