"Mr. Elzo is a friend?" the clouds in front of Giulia's eyes did not slide away- parents and adults tried to distract little Giulias, pretending everything was okay, when sometimes, it wasn't. "I am glad he is your friend," Giulia told Mewdile with a smile, and let the bigger woman tug the hoodie over her head. Softly, Giulia fussed. "You're the hurt one, Mewdile, I'll be okay. You need to stay warm."
Ofelia.
It was a fairy tale name for a lovely, sad Princess. "I won't mess up, Ofelia. Your secret is the safest with me. I won't tell anyone, not even my seal prince. Not even Jada, and not even- not even the President, or the Pope. I won't even tell Aidan." it was the deepest promise Giulia could make, not to tell her twin brother.
She slid her lean body into Mewdile's arms, burying her head against the older woman's shoulder, glad she was still little and light. At only about 35 pounds, plus jacket and shoes, she would hopefully not weight Ofelia down too much. "Is there anything I can do to help?"
