Another success! Her strike rang true against flesh, and Dezaira felt the reverberation down to her bones as the boy's own were struck. It was a hard blow, something that would at least bruise them, but she hoped she hadn't cracked them and it perforated a lung. She could fix it for a moment with a rune, but she hoped if the boy stuck around he wouldn't remember how she had accidently tried to kill him. Her thoughts turned when her wrist was gripped, and even though her center of gravity was close to the ground, he was smaller than she in height and effectively threw her off her balance.
Not for long, as her foresight rune glowed and she planted a foot into the hard ground with usage of her agility. It seemed like the wrong move because in the next moment Dezaira was coughing and sputtering as a hard fist went straight up into her gut. She fell onto her knees, not letting go of her sword but coughing into the balled fist all the same, before she looked daggers at the boy. Now she was really pissed off.
She didn't even notice her torso was gripped harshly between his legs and, while she faced him, Dez aimed a shot toward his face. It would be exactly the same side in which she had bruised his ribs, and she hoped it would make him pass out for a moment so she could get off of him. It was uncomfortable, her belly shuddered with pain and the squeezing about her hips did no favors either. She knew if the positions were reversed she'd be easily able to miss every shot Ragnar would throw at her via her agility rune, but in this position it was practically impossible to use it effectively. He couldn't throw many punches because of the angle of his body, so it was useless to dodge anything that he could throw.
Regardless of this, Dez could still see darkness at the edge of her vision. She had these types of bruises before when she trained, she had to stand there and receive punch after punch to vital areas of the body, but it was so rare that it happened when she was so off guard. If she was really aiming to kill Ragnar, she would have pulled out the dagger strapped to her inner thigh, but alas the blood was rushing now and she didn't care about most anything.
