Liira smiled to her daughter before pulling herself up from the floor and offering a hand to Elna. "They won't be too much longer. Did you want to go inside? I bet it's because you're hungry now, right?" If there was anything she could count on it would be Elna's stomach. The sun was high up in the sky at this point, so Elna knew it was time for lunch. "All of those questions worked up an appetite didn't it?"
She brushed her own hair out of her eyes and put a hand behind her neck. "We can go in and start making some sandwiches, how about that?" She offered. "You can help me."

Elna nodded her head with enthusiasm as she accepted her mother's hand and let her help her up. She wiped her pants off with her hands and shook her short bob, feeling the little bit of breeze that was still blowing through Tale on the back of her neck.
"I want to help." She added enthusiastically. She paused for a second, putting a finger to her lips before she added, "Ok Mama, one more question." She paused, "Can I have two sandwiches?" She grinned to her mom. She was feeling extra hungry today. "I think Liio will want two, too Mama." She added.

Liira patted Elna on the head, ruffling her hair until it was sticking out in places and a general mess.
"Yes, you can have two." She opened the door for her daughter and ushered her inside. She could see Elna looking at her waiting before adding, "Liio will have two, too." She laughed, Elna was always looking out for her twin, and Liira couldn't help but just think her and her brother were possibly the cutest pair she could have asked for.

Elna rushed inside passed Liira and nearly ran to the kitchen. She loved helping her Mama make food, almost as much as she liked eating it. She asked her mother what she wanted Elna to do to help and ran to grab plates and bread.
All that was left to do now was finish the sandwiches and wait for the rest of her family to get home.

Liira watched her little girl rush to the kitchen and after closing the door went to join her. It was always a little messier when one of her children helped, but at least they enjoyed it.
She got out the things she needed for sandwiches and let Elna grab some of the stuff to 'help' her. She still had a couple more years on her yet before she really felt comfortable letting Elna help with making food. Soon the boys would be home and they could all enjoy a midday meal together.
