"You should try not to do it again." he nudged Arin's side gently with his head before looking back up at him. There was something else Arin wasn't saying but he didn't know if he had the right to press it any further.

He did snicker at the comment on vendors though. "But the food is so tasty ... and Luc doesn't always want to get something just so I can share. And I'm not very good at protecting him." He still felt bad for how hurt Lucien had gotten when the General attacked him.

He should have been able to do something about that.

"I think I'll stick with not changing sides. I like this one and everyone on it." He butted his head gently against Arin's hand when it reached his ears again. "I'm suppose to be good though ... i mean that's what cats like me are supposed to be."

Teachers and guides and he couldn't be that if eh was just useless at everything he did.

At some point in the night he woke up when Arin started to squirm a bit. Getting up he stretched before crawling up onto the man's chest and curling up. Arin stilled once there was the weight on him and Sumi fell back asleep easily.

By the time Lucien got up and got moving for the day he expected Arin would have been up as well. He didn't hear him though and shrugged as he got ready. When he was dressed and had all his camera gear together he went to check on his friend. He had a freelance gig to go to and he wanted to make sure Arin knew where he was if he needed anything.

He nudged his friends door open and laughed softly at himself at the sight. Pulling out his camera he snapped a quick shot. Not able to pass up the sight of his friend with his cat curled up on his chest. It was too cute and way too good blackmail material.

He left a note in the kitchen for Arin before quietly sneaking out.
